Or try to flash recovery.
Maybe you try to repeat the whole process making sure you don't repeat the mistake as well.
I think as long as you can start the phone in fastboot, you can erase cache, flash boot.img...
BTW, did you manage to push recovery? If not, try doing that too. Good luck.

Weird one here, but try the normal process to boot in fastboot (Volume up and power) and see if that boots normally, haha.

To get the phone charging, follow this :
Download bellow
http://www.speedyshare.com/3bgpQ/battery.bat.txt
and then transfer this into your platformtools folder or where you have the fastboot.exe
and double click the battery.bat
this will take a while to charge so leave it over night and you will be able to use RUU again, did this last night for myself.

Hello everybody
thank's Jadc007, it's working, the phone charge, but there's a problem, it blocks at 3680mV, and according to what i've read on the net, it must have 3800 mv minimum to flash an RUU.
is it inevitable to gofor repair?
First flash cwm recovery 5.8.4.0 with your current charge with
Fastboot flash recovery cwmrec.img
Substitute your recovery filename with cwmrec.img
With this recovery you will be able to charge while the phone is off. With full charge flash the ruu.

but my phone is not matter what i do anything i do...
hit reboot...it reboots back into fastboot
trying to go into recover....it reboots back into fastboot
power down ...it reboots back into fastboot
Any solution yet?
I have the same problem.
My Hboot Version is 1.39
I tried to install the Adnroid Revolution HD Rom.
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562603
There is an ICS and an JB Version, i tried both (also the bootloader), doesn't matter which one i choose, i still end up in fastboot mode.
Flashing the RUU gives me errors, so back to stock is not possible.
I can still access the CWM Recovery.
Any solutions yet?

Place this file http://dinc.does-it.net/Stock_Images/4.08.605.15/PB31IMG.zip, on your sdcard in no folders and boot to hboot. Wait a few secs and hboot should find the file and prompt you to press vol up to install. This is the latest officially signed ruu, it will wipe everything and get you to compleete stock. There is a way to do it with a pc, but you have to be able to boot the phone to the os for that to work.

I have done this so many times no with multiple microSD cards and a few different PB31IMG.zip files. I can get to hboot and it sees the file, but after checking it it says that there is no image. I tried to flash CWM recovery using fastboot and it says it is successful, however when I try to go to recovery, it restarts the phone and sits on the white screen that says HTC Incredible. It will stay on that screen or continually boot to that screen.
Does anyone have any ideas for me? I don't care which software or ROM I get on here, I just want to get it running!

How do I wipe cash without being able to get to recovery? And pulling the battery only gets me out of the boot loop.
I can get to the HBOOT menu, but if i choose anything other than fastboot it just restarts and get stuck in the loop. I can't connect via adb either.
I'm not super experienced with this stuff, everything I've tried so far comes from somewhere on these forums. Any other help would be appreciated!

You need to back up your sdcard to your pc. Then format the sdcard fat32 with the pc (even if its already fat32). Place this file http://dinc.does-it.net/Stock_Images/4.08.605.15/PB31IMG.zip only back on the sdcard, in no folders named exaxtly PB31IMG.zip which it should already be named. Put the sdcard back in the phone and boot to hboot. It should find the file, parse it, and prompt you to press vol up to install. Once installed remove the PB file from the sdcard and put your backed up files back on the sdcard.

I didn't realize I could erase cache through fastboot! unfortunately, it didn't seem to solve the issue. When i try and erase recovery so that i can flash a new one it tells me in cmd "failed, remote: not allowed". I can flash a new one and it tells me its successful, but when i select recovery from HBOOT it still drops me back into the loop.

I tried a couple versions of teamwin and couldn't get it to work. Is there a way to install a different version of hboot or would that not make any difference?
Right here goes!
I've scoured the threads and I think I've tried everything so far to solve my problem, but still to no avail!
I woke up one morning and my phone was in hboot, wasn't plugged in, and was unresponsive. I tried charging but it wouldn't take it. I'm running stock JB 4.1 via OTA from Vodafone (UK). I had a new battery, and managed to replace the old one. I checked the old one and it had 2.8v output with the new one being 3.8V. I then ran that .bat file to loop the phone in a sort of charge mode to make sure I had sufficient charge. Phone still wouldn't boot. I then tried to do various things listed on this forum, but still have same symptoms. I just need the damn thing to work!
My current version is 3.14.161.27, an I managed to find this RUU. Download consisted of boot.img, rcdata.img and recovery.img
I'm in CMD....with the phone in unlocked mode connected via fastboot usb. Clear chache, run the boot.img and then I run hboot_1.36.0000_.img but error comes up saying cannot load 'hboot_1.36.0000_.img' : unknown error
If i re-lock the phone and do the same thing I get access not allowed in cmd.
what am I doing wrong here? any ideas? I can't find a .exe file for my original ROM either.
recovery doesn't work...just hangs on the HTC screen. factory reset doesn't work wither, same thing happens
I would be happy to try a custom ROM or anything that might get the phone booting again.
Please point me in a 'direction' or offer some help, I will be very grateful!

Did you use that to upgrade the hboot ! After upgrading the hboot you can reflash a custom recovery
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot erase cache
Enter recovery and perform a full wipe, then mount the sdcard as a usb mass storage device and copy the rom.zip over .... flash the boot.img in fastboot

Enter recovery and install the rom.zip

You answered the recovery question yourself already in your OP, no not possible to flash a kittykat rom with twrp.....due to the errors you described earlier
Reflash the recovery again and enter it directly after you flashed via the bootloader. No reboot is needed.
Download this recovery, don't know if it's the exact same one that was linked already in here but worth a shot i guess
http://d-h.st/Ugy
Thanks
I tried the last recovery and no joy with that either. It just sits on the quietly brilliant screen. It seems the only recovery it accepts is TWRP.
Which is not much use at restoring any of my backups or installing the roms saved on the SD. Im wondering if the partition is messed up?
I tried running the stock RUU and that said it doesn't recognise the device.
Its been a while since I got things this messed up, Any more ideas?

have you tried to flash another recovery? try Philz one (the best version depends on the rom you want to try), connect to pc, mount usb as storage, copy a rom on the phone and flash it if it is bootloop maybe it's a bad kernel flash or a missing kernel flashing process
im not an expert or something but...how can i mount usb storage and copy rom when it won´t turn on?

no, if it's off you can't, but as buttons blink three times, maybe you can enter fastboot and so you can try to update recovery...
sorry, mine are only guesses as i've never faced such a condition, but if you can enter fastboot maybe you can recover the device
now it again turn on in recovery (if it is even recovery, i really dont know ). It shows this screen and i really know what to do, can you write it step by step? or post some link?
it's not recovery, it's fastboot
do this way: try to download again the unlock.bin from htcdev.com if you haven't got it, unlock the bootloader and flash the recovery i told you before, then enter recovery, connect to pc and select mount usb storage... then copy a rom zip on phone, reboot to bootloader and flash rom kernel, enter again recovery, wipe everything to flash a new rom and flash the zip.. you should be fine
search this threads for guides, there are many and i can't give you all the links

p.s. before unlocking the bootloader again, update hboot to at least 1.39.0000

better idea is to keep it locked and get a ruu for him, you only need his main number :
fastboot getvar version-main

you're right Mr Hofs, but i really don't like stock rom and i've never used a RUU, so i fear i would have given wrong infos
anyway your way is the easiest one
Maybe he flashed the recovery as a kernel, so when he installs ROM and reboots it just boots recovery again.

RUU is Rom Update Utility, so a tool that you run on pc with the device connected that restores devices "as new"...
you need to find a ruu that matches the main number you get with the command Mr Hofs posted before

if it is like: in fastboot select getvar select version-main, then i cant do it, as you can see i havent got getvar in my fastboot menu
No, you have to install fastboot on your pc and run the command there... Search a guide about how to setup fastboot on pc...

Hey there guys, I've just unlocked Bootloader as described on the htcdev./ site,
Unfortunately, now when I enter HBOOT, no only do I recieve a "failed to open usb master mode" and "pj46img.zip" fail message, but when I click "Recovery", my phone switches back to fastboot. I need to backup my system to downgrade and root afterwards.. anyways
Anyone experienced this before or has any idea what to do?
The Model is: HTC Endeavor , Android ver. 4.2.2, Sense 5...
and...
What the status bar tells me :
*** UNLOCKED ***

Error message is normal because you have the usb connected. Without cable you won't get the message.
Second when you are in the bootloader do the command :
Fastboot erase cache
And you need to flash or boot a custom recovery !
Fastboot boot recovery.img
Or
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
The custom recovery has to be named "recovery.img" and be placed in the fastboot folder on the pc !
And what do you want to downgrade ?
Cache erased

Wow, thanks for such a quick answer.. sorry for not coming and thanking sooner...
Anyways.. I erased the Cache as recommended.
The reason why downgrade was because somewhere I read there are problems with rooting my phone on 4.2.2 so I thought downgrading to 4.1.1 would be adequate... Anyways recent research pushed me into believing it is not necessary...
Yeah, so anyway I've been looking for a custom recovery to use as you said...
version-main: 4.18.401.2
cidnum: HTC__032
Do I need to find a recovery for exactly my CIDnumber?

Stuck... damn it!
Yeah, umm hello there again.
So I used the Cyanogenmod recovery in the end...
Anyways I let myself led by the guide posted by Thömy (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583037)...
Everything went fine, I got the bootloader unlocked (before already), the recovery provided by ClockWorkMod, did a Data wipe, downloaded everything necessary, booted into Recovery... but when I got to flash the CM 11.0.zip (installing from the zip file in recovery) It failed..
So for no reason i decided to simply restart the phone and try whatever will I find then.. I haven't got past the white/green HTC screen though and I'm stuck at it... I can get back to recovery or the Bootloader, but nothing more, nothing less...
Any Idea?.. I'm struggling with it for a few hour now and feel lost

Use the Recovery that Mr Hofs gave you and flash the CM 11 package. Should work. CWM recovery sometimes gives you errors while flashing since you may have to modify the updater-script with-in the package to flash successful.
Nice, felt some progression

Cool :good:
So I used the Recovery from el Maestro and flashed the CM 11 package.
I got to a "Cyanogenmod" booting screen at which I'm stuck...
It updated some files but, that's all and the arrow wheel keeps spinning? any Idea?
btw: I'm really sorry if someone already had this problem,
I swear I spent hours looking for one, but when I found a similar one,
it wasn't really what I was looking for in the end
[EDIT] Also when I try to boot the system with the boot.img file included in cm-11 package, I'm not stuck on the Cyanogenmod screen but all the way back on the HTC logo screen again
Flashed the boot.img from the cm11 zip ?
Flash instead of Boot

Yes, I until now was directly booting "fastboot boot boot.img" with cmd on computer.
Now when I flashed it into the device, I cannot even get to the Cyanogenmod screen, hehe

The flash command should be "fastboot flash boot boot.img" are you sure you are doing it right?

yep Did it exactly this way ... It now behaves the same as when only booted with the boot.img :/
Did you perform a full wipe within the custom recovery before installing the cm zip ? Seems to me you forgot to wipe something !

Ok try this..
Assuming you already did a full nandroid backup, do the following:
1. Do a FULL wipe on your device.
2. Flash the ROM again
3. Reboot to bootloader
4. Flash the boot.img again
5. Reboot
6.Thank me if it works.
Should work, that's normally the steps I take when flashing ROM's and have never failed me.
If he flashes the boot.img alresdy its a wipe issue. Doesnt matter when you flash it because it's not going to be changed installing a rom or wiping partitions from within the recovery (definitely not on a s-on device)
6: kinda corny to mention that isn't it ! Bit of a desperate call for appreciation......not confident enough you need confirmation
Got past it!

I don't think it "kills to try" like I mentioned at the bottom that's how I usually do mines when am blocked by issues. and NO not desperate for appreciation either.
