any good app like voodoo sound for headphone amplifire ,, some apps make the sound loud but not clear ,, i was using voodoo sound with galaxy s1 , best app ever , would love to find headphone amplifire that make the sound clear and loud ,,, any one know app for that
Sadly, there isn't anything like that for the GNex due to the implementation of the headphone stuff on our phone.
The only thing to try is one of those apps that makes stuff louder or try poweramp music player.

I recently installed beats audio and voodoo sound boost. My phone is simply waaaay to loud and beats audio DOEs not sound like beats audio. No matter how much I flash roms and reset my phone I can still tell the difference. How do I go about discontinuing the effects of both apps?

I've had my Detox edition Pros for a while now but I'm constantly trying different equalizer apps
(currently using the stock one from CM10 Google Music)
I was just wondering if you guys use an equalizer , which one do you use and state which type of headphones you are using

I'm using Equalizer with Skullcandy Hesh headphones, the boost in audio is very noticible and it offers presets along with effects like bass booster and virtualizer.

I have the shure se535's and I swear by power amp. The EQ and sound settings are awesome and the only thing that can push my iem's to sound like they should

Hi guys,
How does everyone find the volume level with headphones? I find the galaxy s3 is far too loud on volume 1 to listen to. On my s2 I use fine volume control, but I hear it doesn't work on the s3 on jelly bean. Does it work on the note 2? Does siyah kernel work? As can reduce the volume in ex tweaks. Trying to work out which phone to buy, but they all seem too loud! Have tried different headphones too, and same issue. Thanks a lot guys

well of course kernel is neat, however I wouldn suggest volume boost. That comes with speaker buzzes. Anyway, stock is pretty loud tho.
if you're trying to reduce the volume, user poweramp for your music, then go into the equaliser, and drop the master volume amplifier (the adjustable bar on the far left) to the lowest setting to reduce the volume further.
alternatively, download any equaliser app and drop the master volume or drop all the eq frequencies to reduce the overall volume.
Thanks, power amp is indeed quieter. Just wish that it would work with dsp manager...

Why would you use dsp manager when poweramp has the best equalizer out there
Dafuq u r buying a phone just for a smaller volume level?

No but it's a big factor for me. Power amp is ok, but to my ear dsp manager is noticeably better. I've bought some new headphones, not inner ear and this has helped with my issue greatly. Seems inner ears may just be too sensitive for android. Neutron with my new black box headphones seems perfect. Still looking at the note 2. Thanks for the help everyone, that Perseus kernel is really handy, as I still need to be Able to reduce the volume level in extweaks or something similar to minimum.

I need a mod which increases the loudness of the one by at least twice.. I no there is already a mod here.. But it doesn't suit my needs.. Is there any other mod I can use? Or probably any app? Thanks...

You could flash and try the boomsound mod or flash PureXaudio, it really does improve the sound and makes it louder.

boomsound mod? link?
greeetings
2 x's louder kiss your speakers good bye
I have an s2... Which has had its volume increased by quite a lot.. And its lowest is like the max I would get before flashing that mod.. It works perfectly fine.. No damage to the speakers.. And if that phone can handle it.. I am sure this one can surely do..

The Devs and app designers on here have a fairly good idea of the max levels of the boomsound speakers,as the speakers pass their optimal performance level, sound ehancements and audio boosting mods simply distort the speakers.....until they go POP, there was a mod being worked on a while ago, where we trialed different adjustments to various files to improve loudness and quality and tested multiple music players, recording sound level(db) output, the loudest music player, with greatest adjustment was PowerAmp, full version, dunno if this helps, just my offering
Ill have a look to see if the guy is still working on files, or whether or not its workable with the new updated 4.2 onwards
ok here's the thread, not been updated recently - but Justin hasnt got his phone sorted yet - have a little look HERE may be what your after or may help
Thread closed as it is a duplicate thread
I rooted my nexus just so that I can fix the flat and tinny sound that the speakers produce, I have installed viper4android but can't seem to fix the sound, the driver's installed and everything and the equalizer works but I'd like to know your guy's setup
Thanks
