I thought I saw earlier a new modem ending in 5?

I think Samsung released UVLl4 twice. I'm curious about this myself. If you go to the UVLl4 thread in development it kinda looks like that.

Hmmm. glad i read that. on the galaxy s 2 T989 you were able to flash ATT radios/modems for those using it on ATT network. reported better speeds and coverage.

Can one download it from somewhere? Like the Samsung website or something

Modems are here including latest release.

If what you're asking is if you can download the modems from samsung, unfortunately you cant. They have to be pulled after applying the ota.

Have you looked here. It's pretty simple if you are rooted, you don't need any specific ROM. It's a simple hack to make Wallet think your phone is a compatible model. I think you just edit a text file. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1769083

Just be sure to reset the Google wallet app each time before you flash to a different ROM.

It is not I downloaded it and the file they have is for Bell stock rom.

This is not 100% true. I saw somewhere on xda a link to 4.2 MIUI rom for n7100. Used it for a moment but the battery life wasn't good for me so I will stick to 4.1.1
