Hi,
Could anyone please test JReader Google Reader app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782777, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jyvee.jreader) and let me know if you get any issues on Galaxy S2 (layout, style, crashes)?
Thank you in advance!

Nice app...
Syncs the feeds properly...
didn't quite like the list view, and on click which displays only a preview and on second click the article is marked as read....need to check settings to change this behavior....to display previw in list view and open article on click.
need to get used to the bottom icons in the list view... they look all too similar....

Hi, click shouldn't mark items as read. Items are marked read on image button click only (the top rightmost one in item's expanded view).
I agree about action bar icons, will try to think of something new
Thank you for your suggestions!

i'd like to figure this out, as well. attempts using ThemeGenCE haven't kept the 'flat-ness'
I remember reading up on this here is how to make them flat:
With WM6 Bars are 3D. But if you define Specific keys like these one :
* "Color_SoftkeyFlatCenter"
* "Color_TitleFlatCenter"
they become "flat". Thanks to Meschle, for this precision.

does anyone know where i can score the apk for this bad boy? i played with it in the new froyo port (very nice job) and i want it now. thanks in advance.
I use a widget called "LED Light" from the markplace, has the same look and feel as the HTC 4G, Wifi, etc widgets.. not sure if that's what you meant or not.
if you downloaded Avas (or Heros i believe) sense 2.2 ROM, you can grab the apk out of the zip.

yeah, i have that one now too but once you try the HTC Flashlight app you will see why i want it so bad.
Thanks for the suggestions, that app works great!
If someone pulls the apk, would they mind linking it here? That would be particularly nice of them .

Thanks much! Dropped it into dropbox, now let's see how it works.
EDIT: Not bad, but I think that I still prefer beamwidgets.

oh, momma. i am excited.
My favorite is LED Desire Light. It has the brightest setting I've seen so far, and can even transmit messages via the flash light in morse code. In case.. you know... you are trapped somewhere and can't make calls.... and can...
Ahh forget it. Anyways, it comes with a widget. Tap for on, tap for off. I love it.

App works awesome, love the interface
I am getting an error on my EVO when I try to install the apk that this is not supported.
OK got it. Missed step to use Astro to install it. Great app!
just installed led desire light and the flashlight.apk
definitely cool to have multiple levels of brightness. And of course, you know that morse code ability will come in handy one of these days....
I can see the previousIy opened ones in tab style and cannot seem to find a way to individually close one. The X at the top of the screen closes all the apps. Is there a way to do it?
Thank much!
Just flick the individual apps away from the screen your on

Hi, I'm almost certain that this has come up before but I don't find the search in the mobile app very accessible/useful. But here it goes:
I have set up an avatar but I don't seem to see it in the app or on the web page (well I don't see any avatars there). Has this been deprecated or is the another reason?

Looks like you don't have one, go here(https://forum.xda-developers.com/profile.php?do=editavatar) and get an avatar, use set custom avatar > choose file > set the pic you wanna see as your avatar > hit save changes, good to go.

Wondering if anyone knows how to remove the battery icon? I'd like to just have the percentage show up. Thanks in advance for any advice on this!
Try Good Lock from the Samsung App Store. It includes lots of status bar tweaks.

I have it set to show the percentage but it isn't there. When I toggle the battery icon in Good Lock, they both disappear.
Just use Systemui Tuner.

I got it to work, I guess I needed to toggle battery percentage off then on. Working perfectly now. Thanks for the suggestion on this!
i just downloaded this app but i don't see the options to do what you guys have done. can you give more explicit instructions? I see a list of apps you can install from the app store (lock star, quick star, multi star, etc...)

Launch Quick-panel star---> visibility of indicator icons--->toggle battery icon. Haha, hopefully you got it.
The app is called Good Lock. The PapaWangsta's instructions should get you taken care of once you download it.

thanks for the intel on this app. but where in settings does one turn on the percentage? im on an unlocked note plus if that matters...
I'm on a note 8 until later today. The attached print screen shows where it's at on the note 8. You should be able to search "hide battery percentage" to find it.
Wow, what an idiot I am ! damn I’m sorry to have wasted internet bandwidth on such a daft question. I cant believe how I missed that in settings.....

I doggedly go through settings to find buried stuff like this. Goodlock apps are superb; even got rid of that nasty AT&T logo.
Just black across the top of my stock Note 10 homescreen like I want it.
