Here is a link to the nightly CM6 builds being compiled by the guys at #teamdouche.
Obviously if you are using a G2 you would choose the Vision folder.
NIGHTLY BUILDS Here
HPDI GAPPS Here
Credit to TeamDouche for their amazing dedication and hard work!
If you want this link to stay up, do NOT bug #TeamDouche do not ask them any questions, do not report any bugs, let them do their job!!!!!
THESE DO NOT INCLUDE GOOGLE APPS AND ARE STILL BUGGY. DO A NANDROID BACKUP, WIPE AND THEN FLASH
________________________________
People this is just the link to where you can find the nightlys... they are not for the new flasher/modder! Don't expect them to be stable at all.
RC1 is on the way... once that is up and running the nightly will fair your way for testing.
Again, IF YOU ARE NEW OR FAINT OF HEART DO NOT FLASH THE NIGHTLY BUILD.

Yeah they've been up for almost 2 days I just didn't tell anyone since I didn't want them to get pulled again...
Thanks in advance, I should be getting the g2 this week. I probably won't test out any nightlies until after rc1, and even then maybe wait a little and see how it goes. So this will be where the nightly discussions are?
YES! Time to flash!
God I hope people don't pester devs with questions. . .
Questions/troubleshooting by users should be placed in here
I can't remember is there a change log link for the nightlies??

shows build-to-build changes. For a longer span (if you're more than one version behind, or if there's one that fails to build) you can use:
http://buildbot.teamdouche.net/changelog/cm_vision_full/11..13
for instance. The ending version can be left off if you want to specify the latest nightly as the end point:
http://buildbot.teamdouche.net/changelog/cm_vision_full/11
Suggestions to improve this feature would be appreciated. Near term, I'd like to pull the oneline logs onto the buildbot page, but I haven't touched this in a little while.
Of course, you can also monitor @cmsrc or #cmsrc, and if you're good with the IRC channel you can even figure out which changes make which build.

Its just a Github link to cyanogens change log.
Do you know why Gapps wont flash?
For GAPPS just inject them into the ROM before flashing and it works
Metamorph hasn't worked since nightly 10...

I could just be hallucinating but iirc cyanogen posted somewhere that the build should be compatable with the Z. I agree though, that place is a ghost town.

Running build 13 since 2 minutes after it came out and love it, everything works as far as I can tell including metamorph (just have system rw and it wont error out)
Sorry, but has anyone got this to work on the Desire Z?
The Desire Z forums are (relatively) quite empty at the moment.

I have Verizon GN rooted with latest CM9
set my google voice mail instead of carrier voice mail to play it from call log. Everything was working very well for couple months. However, few days ago stops working. It will show that I have a new voice mail in the call log, and it will show me from whom, but when i open it and hit play it will kick me out back to call log and wont play it!!!!
I was thinking maybe a bug from CM9!!! Can anyone check that for me on his device and confirm it?
I was searching for that problem before I decided to post this, but all what I find is about Sprint and I know it is something different from this one.
Regards,
Bassil
Its either only me, or no one uses google voice for the voice mail from call log except me
I'm having the same problem all of a sudden. I wonder if it's a new bug introduced in CM9 because it works on my old builds on my Nexus One but doesn't work on the Galaxy Nexus or my HTC One X running CM9.
My Google-fu indicates that it might be a codec error, but I don't see any recent changes that would account for this.
sassafras
It looks like it is crashing trying to load the variablespeed playback lib.
Still don't see any change in the CM9 repos that would cause this problem.

Exactly, this what is happening to me!!! It wasn't like this with the older versions of CM9. I guess either from the new builds or from Verizon disabled it!!!

I don't think it's carrier side. I think it's a bug new since a recent build of CM9
I think it's from the Android build 4.0.4, not from cm9 because I changed from cm9 to another rom with same android 4.0.4 and having same problem.

Which ROM? Are you sure it doesn't use the CM9 codebase?
sassafras
I've been told that Google voice replay from the dialer will fail on any linaro build. I think, but could be wrong, that the latest CM9 and AOKP both are now linaro. I'm using stock 4.0.4 and it works fine.
I experienced the same exact issue, also some m3 files wouldn't play.
I was running latest BlackIce which is cm9 based. Just flashed it Monday, reverted back to my nandroid and everything started working correctly. It must be something with the latest updates made on CM9.

lol everytime I ask I get a new one... good to know rootbox has wifi working, what about battery life?
thanks!
Different people had so many choice
All 4.2 use same kernel, IMHO similar battery life.
I toggle 3g, wifi and mobile internet only when I need, and 2 days like 60% with stock battery, when I use too much mostly a day or 2 the 100%.
You should backup and try all of them

I found PACRom v18 w/ patches to be fully working minus bluetooth headset and skype (audio).
I never had dropped calls, duplicate texts etc. which are some of the issues i'm having in stock ICS. Battery was great once I installed JuiceDefender Ultimate .. I haven't switched up to Rootbox 4.2.2 because I couldn't get GPS to lock.

Sent from my MK16i using xda app-developers app
I have been using Rootbox since late January. I mostly like it, but I keep having multiple texts and sometimes I get a "not receiving texts" issue until I totally wipe the phones caches, data and rom and reflash. Getting kind of annoying because it's about every 2-3 weeks or so I gotta reflash or clear to a total wipe to fix an issue. Probably related more to the kernel than the rom? I dunno. I am thinking about trying CM 10.1 or DMan's daily driver which I think is based off of 4.0.4? 4.2 is nice, but I need a phone that's a touch more stable and so does my gf. Her phone has the same issues as mine at varying intervals. Rootbox is really nice, it's the only modified ROM I have experience with on these phones. Shame the dev community is dwindled but they did excellent work thus far. If I could I would take over...but I am no programmer. I think I may end up back with stock GB eventually though I'd rather not. I like having my Nexus 7 and phones all on the same 4.2.2.

Thanks. When I get this phone, I would like a rom that mimics Jelly Bean, since I have an Epic 4G finally on Cyanogenmod 10 and I'm already used to that. Looks like I'll have to try a few roms (I don't think Cyanogenmod will ever come to the Captivate Glide ), but I'll keep the one you mentioned in mind.
I finally installed AOKP. The only thing I found misbehaving is bluetooth car handsfree.
has anyone tried with this rom ?

Can you explain 'bluetooth car handsfree'?
I get bluetooth / headset. And I believe I get 'handsfree' - click the button on the headset and it answers the call, and click the button on the headset, speak who you want to call (voice dial), and it dials.
In this case, your car is your headset? (Speakerphone, happens to be mounted in the car?)
Any chance (hoping), that it works with a bluetooth headset, in which case it could be a device compatibility problem?
Or is it just handsfree bluetooth (period) is unhappy?

Yep, I'm on Chromium now, trying build 11. Very good experience with build 10 so far.
what's the most stable alternative?
Hi I've been running aokp 4.2.2 on HTC Desire for some time - it's great except for the video issues when using the camera (I understand that's an issue for many 4.2.2 roms?) - so I'd like to move to a 4.3 or 4.? rom that's recommended
Is the Desire S better supported on 4.3? - I've just put a CM version on an old Desire S (that's got some faults, so I can't tell for sure) and it seems OK at first look.
Many thanks, Geoff

AOSP - Reference - JLS36G
As requested by undarated in my Reference ROM for the Galaxy Nexus GSM (Maguro), I took on the challenge to make a build for Toro. This is as pure as Android gets, compiled straight from Googles AOSP repository. I added absolutely nothing to the build (apart from the binairy drivers), partly because I want it to be as pure as possible for now and partly because I'm not a developer by any means
You can see this as a Reference ROM, all other ROMS are essentially based on this.
First thing that striked me was its speed. This ROM flies on Maguro and Iḿ sure it does the same on Toro! Google did a great job with 4.3.1 and is still continiously updating the AOSP sources
DISCLAIMER: As I don't own the device I couldn't test this myself of course, but undarated tested a pre-test and it didn't kill his phone
Anyway, here the link, it's on Google Drive (builddate 2013/10/10):

You can also use the experimental GApps for Android 4.3 (thanks to BaNkS, follow his thread here):

As this ROM is so pure, it even comes unrooted, you can find Chainfire's latest SuperSU here:
http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
Changes to the AOSP tree can be found here:
https://android-review.googlesource.com/#/q/status:merged,n,z

Have fun
Thanks, I came here just to look for something exactly like this. I'll let you know if it blows up my phone (Don't worry, I know how to recover it).
First thing I tried doesn't work. Its an issue with AOSP and Verizon (CDMA?). MMS won't send if you are connected to WIFI. The MMS needs to go through the 3G/4G towers and the switch to 3G/4G doesn't happen. You need to manually turn off WiFi for it to work.

Not to sound like a Debbie Downer here, but is there any reason why we shouldn't expect this ROM to have the same issues affecting every other 4.3 ROM for the VZW Gnex? I mean, I'm still going to flash it... but still. (BTW, I'm not being facetious, I really would love it if this ROM wasn't plagued with the data handoff issues other ROMS are struggling with.)

I'm sorry guys, but I can't do much here. This is way out of my expertise, even from all Toro experts themselves if I understand it correctly.
What I can do, is give you a new build. Google just released Android 4.3.1 on AOSP (JLS36I) and I build a fresh build. See OP for the link.
It seems the PA Gapps don't work (for Maguro at least). I tested my Maguro build with the 'official' Gapps and that does work however.
Let's hope this build fixes the known problems
