that looks like a galaxy nexus

The call is made with google hangouts, its not a normal phonecall so I believe it looks same to all users no matter what phone is
And yes, the phone used in that video is galaxy nexus

Choose the phone call as the default choice? Then the phone will not ask u to choose a choice everytime u trying to make a call
How do you do that on samsung s3, thanks.

Wifi calling for tmobile?

They have got it working on aosp ICS for sensation. Can anyone port it to nexus.

This will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Surely the reason why its available for stock ICS on the Sensation is because its available for the stock Sense ROM on the Sensation (and the other HTC T-Mobile phones).
We had WiFi calling on the G2 on all of the ROMs (Sense, AOSP, MIUI) because it came stock on the G2.
I highly doubt we'll ever see it on the Galaxy Nexus.
From what I've heard, T-Mobile wifi calling requires modifications in the ril, which is not open source.

It requires the ril to support certain features/ calls. If it does you are good to go. If it does not (in the case of the nexus s) you are dead in the water unless a ril from a device that does support these calls works on your device.

I put together my own version using csipsimple, callcentric, ipkall, google voice, google voice callback (donate), and tasker.
Sounds complicated, but it works really well, and is zero maintenance once set up.
If you're interested,i will share my setup.

I used that for my tasker profile basis (codesplice did great work), but I found Groove IP to have TERRIBLE call quality...and that method also means that calls won't ring through to your gmail, which I love.
Here is my guide that I just posted:

Call recording..

What do you guys use for call recording?
Which kernel? App?

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
First of all, you need to check if call recording is legal in your country.

CallRecorder by skvalex. It is one of the only recorders that records properly, i.e., it doesn't use the speaker.

It is legal as long as both parties know.. That's what I plan to do..

I have call recorder.. It records incoming sound at such a low volume. It's almost unnoticeable..

There are many apps on the market called callrecorder. Do you have the one by skvalex?

Another Whatsapp question...

I had an iPhone 4 and used the number to get Whatsapp running on my rooted N7. I just traded said iPhone for a Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (unrooted) and would like to receive my Whatsapp messages on the N7 and the phone. Possible??

to use the same account on two devices doesn't seem to work
I do recall recall reading on here that someone got it working.
Doesn't matter anyway. Tablettalk is a much better solution.

I don't think there's a solution to make messages reach both devices. I tried and it is random. I used another number for my N7 instead.

I just watched the video.. Looks like its still in early stages but looks cool enough. I like the bigger icons. What I'd really like to see is a purchased section.

that only gives you (at least me and a few others) only part of my purchase history....maybe a years worth. so some of my OG droid purchase days are not on there....unless they updated it.

That's lame. Definitely not as useful as it should be then.
It's rolling out now!

Im waiting for that APK to drop.
Clearing Market and Framework has done nothing for me so far.
