First of all, you need to check if call recording is legal in your country.

CallRecorder by skvalex. It is one of the only recorders that records properly, i.e., it doesn't use the speaker.

There are many apps on the market called callrecorder. Do you have the one by skvalex?

[Q] Port HTC camera

All the smart people out "dev's" Please no one who has never built a ROM 'with all do respect". Do you think HTC ONE camera app will be able to be ported? Or is there a camera barrier that would not even be able to snap 20 photos in 30 seconds or shoot pics while recording? I know the US version HTC ONE has a separate processor, so just curious?
No offense, but this question has already been asked and answered. The answer is a definite no, with the reason being the disparate hardware, as you have surmised.

Wifi calling for tmobile?

They have got it working on aosp ICS for sensation. Can anyone port it to nexus.

This will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Surely the reason why its available for stock ICS on the Sensation is because its available for the stock Sense ROM on the Sensation (and the other HTC T-Mobile phones).
We had WiFi calling on the G2 on all of the ROMs (Sense, AOSP, MIUI) because it came stock on the G2.
I highly doubt we'll ever see it on the Galaxy Nexus.
From what I've heard, T-Mobile wifi calling requires modifications in the ril, which is not open source.

It requires the ril to support certain features/ calls. If it does you are good to go. If it does not (in the case of the nexus s) you are dead in the water unless a ril from a device that does support these calls works on your device.

I put together my own version using csipsimple, callcentric, ipkall, google voice, google voice callback (donate), and tasker.
Sounds complicated, but it works really well, and is zero maintenance once set up.
If you're interested,i will share my setup.

I used that for my tasker profile basis (codesplice did great work), but I found Groove IP to have TERRIBLE call quality...and that method also means that calls won't ring through to your gmail, which I love.
Here is my guide that I just posted:

[Request] Call receiving like this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx_rRirV2vc&feature=player_embedded
check at 0.48 min when she gets a call... which phone is that? i really like this style of receiving a call!
so please can someone port this?
that looks like a galaxy nexus
The call is made with google hangouts, its not a normal phonecall so I believe it looks same to all users no matter what phone is
And yes, the phone used in that video is galaxy nexus

Just tried it on Galaxy S3 and HTC One X and it is just like on the video. It is part of the Google+ app.

speakers are very low

anyone else disappointed with the speakers that comes in the note 3?
it's really pissing me off at this point. was really thinking of rooting and doing a sound mod, but it doesn't seem as if the speakers can take it any push without being over saturated and sounding distorted.
They sound fine ... at least they are louder than my S4.

sound good here
Yes im dissapointed in the speaker volume as well thought it would be louder

Out the box it sounded good. After rooting and applying ViPER, it's even better.

Really? I like it I can finally put my phone down without it finally getting muffled from being on the back.

Note 3 Audio is not as loud as my note 2 but hopefully with sound MOD it would do a little better. Just wish it had dual speaker. Wonder why they choose not to do that.

Good to know. Im looking to get this phone and if the sound better than the s4 then its good enough for me.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 4
Mine sounds OK though volume level is a bit lower than Note 2, but you should get louder sound if you lay the unit flat on hard surface (table). Usually the sound from Note 2 is blocked but Note 3 is not affected (the way it sounds through the edge like Galaxy Tab/Note 7 or 8, or iPhone 5).
Nope. I'm pretty impressed after coming from 4 HTC phones* in a row.
*none of them were the ONE, which I've never heard.
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk 4
Mines pretty loud, louder than my G2 was and I actually turned the master level down a notch. I only ever play games with the speaker and vines maybe a Youtube video, otherwise its plugged into the stereo in the car.

Wow that's good then, I think my S4 has a loud enough speaker for me. Anything below that and I would be dissatisfied.

I assume you traded your g2? Might end up doing the same.

Just got my note 3 and it's the same as the s4. Maybe slightly lower but I can't really tell much. I definitely can tell its way louder than my g2.

How does the speakers hold up to the volume boost?
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
The thing is I'm coming from a note 2 and I use a volume mod and it makes it pretty damn loud.....but the speakers in the note 3 just doesn't seem like they can't stand if volume boost.
I haven't rooted yet seeing that no one has figured out that Knox warranty issue yet.
But so far the speakers are so low the alarm can't even wake me up...
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
Same thing here. The earphone volume is low as well. I am on aosp rom though.
