Can anyone provide me with the stock HTCDialer.apk and Phone.apk?
I want to attempt to mod them but I can't seem to find a system dump for HTC ONE V anywhere.
Thanks!

The question is: How do I replace the stock HTC keyboard that comes any HTC stock rom and replace it with a mod? I'm trying to integrate the keyboard into a Rom so that this keyboard appears as default at installation of ROM However keeping it as an apk in either /system/app or /data/app/ leads to force closes at first boot. Replacing the HTC ime apk leads to a lot more force closes. Has anyone been successful in doing this?
While on this question, does anyone know which file stores settings which determine which one of a number of keyboards that we've installed, is chosen as default?
I'm trying to incorporate the HTC IME mod keyboard..
Bumping it for a little attention..
There really ought to be a Q & A section within the Theming section...This belongs there!
Do you also move the lib's to the correct folders. Cause when opening the HTC IME mod zip there are 4 files in there. If you move all these files in to the right folders before flashing I think it should work.

No. I was trying to add Adbirdie's keyboard from here. (Which is only an apk)
I cant find links to libraries, or flashable zips with the libs..Would you point me to the file with libs? I'm trying to incorporate the keyboard into my rom and remove the htc one..
Seems like there are a hole bunch of HTC IME floating around, i was talking about the one in the the [FAQ] OxygeN + Tips! thread.
Maybe if you add the lib's and the clicker.apk from that and the actual HTC_IME.apk form Adbirdie.
Just a thought i have no idea if this will work.

You were spot on!
I used the lib lib99.so along with the apk (just replaced HTC_IME.apk) and it worked fine on bootup! Thanks a lot.. Now I can add this as the default keyboard for my rom!
By the way, if someone else is trying to do the same thing, you've got to open the apk as a zip file, and extract the libraries in the folder lib, and copy them to /system.
I am missing the HTC profile widget toggle. The widget allows you to go from Normal>vibrate>silent. Can someone extract the apk file for me please???

i just found the solution posted in one of the other topics and it worked for me. [HTC one M8/M9/M9+]
XDA Forum- HTC One Widgets
Just download the required widgets and transfer the apk file to your device and install.
NO ROOT NECESSARY or any other software!!
Please, can someone make this app non-signed so I can put my own pngs in xhdmi-drawable, like in any stock app?
Regards, Zagor
Hi there!
After upgrade'ing my One X to Jelly Bean, I've found out that they have changed the default highlight color from green to blue. Is there any chance to obtain .apk file with unmodified theme from ICS Sense 4.1 and install it on JB Sense 4+? I would be grateful for link.
I'm also disapointed with missing music 4x1 widget. Is there a chance to recover .apk file with it? If somebody of you could extract it from ICS ROM I'll be grateful, too.

It doesn't work like that, you will need to edit the framework-res.apk, systemui.apk bc they are different from the ics ver

Damn, that's a shame. Thanks for answer, but I must say that I expected different one Anyway, I don't get why HTC made this deliberate changes that are not improvement.
I am running international(asian version) of HTC M8
I flashed Jishnu's Camera mod without doing a backup first, and my camera won't work now..
Somebody posted the whole framework folder of the stock ROM & the camera.apk & odex.
mediafire com/download/knkzx5sizppzh9e/Stock_Cam.zip (sorry, I can't post outside links..)
But I can't flash it on TWRP.. can anybody help me with a flashable stock camera?

I got this from the insert coin rom. Works fine on that ROM and since it's just stock camera it should be good for the stock ROM. Just do a backup before flashing
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Free mobile app

you just need root explorer and delete camera.apk from /system/app then copy camera.apk and camera.odex from stock_cam.zip to /system/app folder and reboot the phone
its work for me and thank you for that link.............
