Good S3 ROM? - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

First of all Im really thankful for the hard work the developors have done for our S2, but I wanted to ask if anyone know of a good S3 like ROM. I'm looking for something like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1875295. Any help would be great

No I have the Epic 4g touch and I know the link is for T-mobiles S2. But what I'm looking for is a S3 like ROM for our epic 4g touch that mimic the S3.

Root with stock gingerbread

My buddy at work has an epic and loves it besides the fact that data sucks. I told him about the amazing work people here do and how he should try custom software. Does anyone know how to root the epic on stock gingerbread? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sure do ... others will say qbking77 videos but if you'd like I can root it remotely via teamviewer . Its pretty simple.

All ROMs for the Epic are good and stable. Go to the development forum and read through the first post on each to see the features they have to see if they will suit your needs.

Cm9 Tablet mode/Hybrid UI

I saw this on phandroid first introduced to the galnex.
I know we just got the unofficial cm9 and don't even have fully functional Aosp build or AOKP builds yet. But is any of our devs interested in this? It looks very interesting and I think with the size of the screen that our phones come in, it could be very nice on our Hercules.
Heres the mod for the epic 4g touch

yeah i'm more than interested. working on figuring out how to do this with smali and xml edits. tough without source. we'll see where i can go with this. if any other devs want to lend a hand hit me up.
cool man! glad to see a solid dev interested in this. im excited!
@ Starskyrob, I hope you do look into this and try to get it 100% working with our phones. I went to the link and flashed the tablet ui mod. With success I might add! It looks real nice, I didnt flash no kernel. Just used rom toolbox to set dpi to 128, then rebooted in recovery, flashed the file, clear dalvik, fixed permissions, reboot and done! We do have some very minor issues, but this could be due to our cm9 not being all the way done yet. Anyways, good luck on that and have fun...
I wonder if ravers rc9 would work with this?

The one in the link in the OP, from the epic touch forum. The cm9 zip. For some reason it worked. I had to clear cache and dalvik and fix permissions as well. And then clear the data on non responsive apps.
Yea it works for me too but when I back it up and then try to restore coming from another rom, the lock screen glitches then it goes into the boot animation and stays there. Any help?

Would you guys be interested in a cooked cm9 with this built in? I've got one working pretty well.

Could you make flashable zips similar to what you have done with the Nav buttons? That way you could support more Roms.

Any chance you could make it so it's switchable? I would love to be able to plug my phone into my monitor and use tablet UI, but normally use phone UI.

I just looked at that and it's pretty interesting, but I mean you should be able to look through the roms now and pick what you want out of it. It would be cool to see on our phones though.

I can help someone set it up if they want. I do much of the work on Kitchen Sink. PM me if you're looking for tips
It would be amazing if it could be ported over to the E4GT, but I have no idea how one would do that, so all I can do is wait

I know I know, I knew I would get looked at weird. Everyone is thinking "If you wanted this you shouldn't have bought a Nexus phone" Well I like change and stock just gets old really fast. I love how touchwiz jelly bean looks and all the features are, and I have already put my phone up for trade for an SGS3 on craigslist and haven't gotten a reply yet. So far I have been offered 2 epic 4g touches, 2 htc evo 3d's, and an iphone 4. So not much.

Well you're gonna have to get a SGSIII. I don't ever see it being ported here. People buy the Nexus to get away from TouchWiz.
No ports. Only one add-on
Swyped on my Galaxy Nexus running AOKP with Franco Kernel
Can anyone point me in a direction on how to do so?
