Also, it seems like latest kernel that gets built for CM7 for our phone has the audio changes there already.

So are you saying when I flash miui I should just keep the stock kernel? Or try and get the cm7 stock kernel?

I believe just replace the GB keyboard with the cm7 one. Because you gain haptic on other keyboards installed.

I think you need to enable the developer options:

Is anyone else having problems with GPS on Ascension Oblivion?
If you read the threads, you'd know it's known by the developers and can't be fixed in the ROM. It's in the kernel

Thank you for your response. I actually keep pretty up to date on all the inc 2 threads. Must have missed the part about GPS. Thank you for pointing it out.

I am going to try and look at that soon. I may start building again tonight or tomorrow night. Hopefully I can see what Mac was talking about: GPS module looking at the wrong hboot...
Awesome...I've been using your kernel on viper for a while and its been working great. Thank you for all your work! It's definitely appreciated.

I just tested the GPS and it works. Make sure you have it turned on in the ROM.

I'll give it another shot and let you know. Which kernel were you using? Your v4 kernel?

Gave it another shot but still no luck on my side. Using the 311 kernel, too.
Edit: You can ignore this. I must have dorked something up before. Reflashed everything and its working now.
