Is there a way to force a galaxy nexus in landscape mode, tablet mode? Do it is like a mini tablet: soft keys when in landscape at the bottom, etc
Thanks

i think there's a cleaner way to do it, but i think if you change dpi to 160 or 175 (through build.prop for example), it will change automatically to tablet mode.
Paranoid Android and AOKP B3 has this feature.

For AOKP it's under the general UI heading, towards the bottom of the menu...

Paranoidandroid Settings under the Settings tab.
You can find the visual guide here.
And in a custom rom you can go to settings-display-rotation and only set it to 90 or 270 and ur phone will stay in landscape. That paired with paranoid android as previously linked would give you a great little mini tab.

Hi! This simple app adds a launcher icon for the Camera application on Nexus 7 tablet. What's the main difference between my app and "MoDaCo Camera Launcher"? My app is translated to 50 languages when MoDaCo's isn't translated. The second difference is SDK version - I used Jelly Bean SDK when MoDaCo used old version (Gingerbread probably).
This is my second Nexus-7-only app. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Nice, thanks for this. Modaco's never worked on my N7 for some reason, but yours does. I guess the SDK version was what was giving me problems. Awesome work

You shouldn't need it. Cm10 already has the camera launcher.
On another note I seriously don't know why Google didn't enable this without a need for an app. Of course they also made chrome the default browser they've already made some questionable decisions.

CM10.1. Where is the launcher? I'm not seeing it.
I'm using PA 2.18 on vzw gnex. It really annoys me that beyond pod does not have notification playback controls. Is there anyway to change this?

A quick search in the Original Android Development section will bring up several for you to view and try

There is an apk for it... It's called LMT.
I like it even more than PA pie controls. look in the xda software development for android thread.
I'm on my phone, so I can't link, sorry.

Check it out. It may be what you're looking for.
just a note - LMT launcher is different than PIE controls. LMT is a launcher and PIE controls are built into the rom and are used in expanded desktop mode.

True story.
They also have "Pie Control" in the play store.
YouTube was flawless on the nexus 10...but on the nexus 7 it is just silly
Any ideas?

have you tried paranoid android? it lets you choose what layout you want
You need to set the DPI to 160 tablet format.
Anyway to do it but keep the normal layout? As in just YouTube lol

As far as I know PA offer the possibility to change per app DPI so you can change the YouTube DPI without affecting other things.

Just stick with what we have. This phone is sadly dying.
Grakernel is awesome. The dev has put a lot of work in it and it provides awesome multibooting. Use trickster for speed and color adjustments and youre done.
