Google now voice recognition failing - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Been using Google now for awhile and all of a sudden the voice recognition is failing. Won't search or trigger search with Google command.
Tried multiple roms and no go.

do you mean that you're at the mic-speak screen, and it says to talk, but you talk and the mic doesn't go red, or only for portions of your speech? if so i have the same problem when I first installed CM10 yesterday. still ongoing. it didn't do that when i had the flashable Now installed on my stock touchwiz.

Mic pulses red like it hears fine, but it doesn't trigger the search after I'm done speaking. I do get it to work like one out of ten times. It was very consistent prior.

I'm running stock and I cannot get voice recognition to turn voice into text... Kind of annoying to have to text. Boo on google!

Could be something on their end...

Have you tried clearing data and cache for Google now? If not, try that. I've seen a few others with this issue, your not alone, not sure how they worked it out though.

CM9 Google Voice Push Notifications.

What's up, guys? I searched but I couldn't find a related topics to my question.
I've been on CM9 for about 2 days now & I'm having problems with Google Voice. It seems that it's delaying notifications for my texts. I have to manually go into the app & check if I've received any. I've checked all the settings on CM9 & in the voice app with no results. Occasionally, it'll push the texts, but it's not consistent.
Another thing is the physical keyboard. For the "fn" button, I have to toggle instead of pressing it once & pushing the character I want. Same thing goes for the "shift" key. If I press it once, it stays on CAPS LOCK.
I was on cleanGB before this & I had no problem with it. I just decided that since RC1 was released, a lot of bugs would've been worked out, so I decided to give CM9 a try. It's still a cool ROM, though.
I don't have a "task killer" or any of that stuff, so I can't see what the problem is. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing any of this or if there is a fix?

I've also been having issues with the GV app not updating consistently for the last 1-3 months. Also had a few calls not route to the phone, and lots of other problems. It's a bummer but I'm leaving GV and going back to standard SMS.

Google Search mic won't stop recording!!

I usually hang out on the Galaxy Note forum but I went ahead and got the GS3 for my wife.
Problem...While Google now works beautifully on my Note (no matter which rom I hack on it), I can't seem to get it to work properly on her bone stock bell mobility GS3!
Whenever she engages the search function, the glowing red mic comes up and she speaks...the voice recognition is instantaneous and her words are correctly translated to text. Unfortunately, unlike on my Note, the red mic never stops glowing or recording. It just keeps pulsating...taunting me...refusing to end and thus complete my search.
I have googled and searched and have been unable to find anyone else with this issue. I have factory reset the phone and angered my wife by losing everything without fixing the issue.. I truly am ready to fix this problem with a hammer and perhaps buy her a....gasp..cough...weeze...iphone!!!
Please spare our family this indignity...I don't think my son would approve!

First, obvious question: Is Google Search up to date?
Also, when you hit the red circle (mic), it doesn't stop the recording?

[Q] Mic sensitivity after ok google everywhere

After my nexus 7 2013 got the OK google everywhere feature i have to say OK Google like 10 times in order to activate it from the home screen or anywhere else while in the past it was working good from the home screen .. the mic seems to work well even when i press the mic button on the search bar and start to talk it recognizes my words well . the problem seems to be not being able to recognize the ok google that fires up the voice commands. any one have this problem?
On my N5 I noticed today the same thing, "Ok google" is working 1 on 5. Although I'm on the French language. In the past it was working 90% of the time

Thank you for validating my sanity! I thought my tablet mic was on the fritz or something. To say nothing about what my roommates must have thought hearing me scream Ok Google in my room like 35 times for the "training" portion of Ok google everywhere.
Any ideas what is going on here? Because once Google Search is listening, it usually doesn't have an issue hearing whatever command I am trying to issue.

Are you sure it's your devices and not you? I find "Okay Google" to be awkward to pronounce, especially several times in a row, due to the "k" and double "g" combo. Wish we could change the hotword. I just touch the watch...find this to be easier and more reliable. Once I do that, I find the boice recognition to be surprisingly accurate, even with names, foreign-sounding places, etc. Does your watch recognize voice if you activate it by touch? If not, you may have a microphone problem. Also, if you have an accent or something, or a stutter, I'd try having someone else say it to see if it's the device or it's you. And also, make sure the watch is lit up first and out of ambient mode. I don't think it works when the watch is in low power mode. As for not working on the phone, I had that issue on the Note3 as well when using Nova Launcher, worked fine in TouchWiz. But I'm pretty sure the watch keyword detection is not dependant on the phone, since I can activate mine even when it's disconnected from my phone.
I'm having issues with my OK Google too. It's like my watch microphone isn't working. I can't do any voice dictation into the watch. It just says "Sorry didn't catch that" when I talk to it. It worked at one point and seems to work sporadically. Now it doesn't work at all.
Not sure for how long but I think it's something like 1 week that voice commands don't work any more for me.
They are opened as web searches instead.
eg. I used to say "OK Google, set a timer for 5 minutes" and the timer would start. Now it opens web link suggestion...
Same with most other voice commands that used to be really useful.
Anyone having same problem?
Hi!
I bought one sony sw3 3 days ago, and have the same problem...I say the voice comands and it always do the search... anyone solved this? In my note 2 the comands are working fine, like call someone, send a text...
In the watch it always makes the search sugestions.
Thanks

Google Now hanging

I'm having some problems using Google voice search and sometimes just searching for stuff. If I do a voice search it will say that it is recognizing and just stay like that for a while. I always just exit it before it even completes. Also if I just do a search from the keyboard, the blue loading bar will just hang about a quarter of the way. Probably less than a quarter away. Sometimes I notice that when swiping to the Google now screen it says sign in error. But even when that isn't showing the search will hang sometimes.

I've been having the same issue for a week or so. Nexus 5x also.
Same issues for more than a month, Nexus 5X, already tried, clear cache, uninstalling updates for google now, deleting gmail account, nothing works, issue is totally random, forgot to mention that I'm running stock Android 6.0.1
same here. 90% of reminder notifications never appear too. Now needs updating.
Every day is getting worse! did you guys find a solution?
Haven't noticed lag or stalls with Google Now for me.
