The same way you installed it originally.
1. Download the ROM and put it on your phone storage.
2. Download the boot.img file.
3. Go into fastboot mode and flash the boot image then erase cache.
4. Then go into recovery and flash the ROM.
5. When you get to the part that says wipe or update, just update...

No. You must extract the boot.img from the ROM zip file and put it to your fastboot folder. Type fastboot flash boot boot.img to flash it.
Then full wipe and flash the ROM in recovery.

Download this : https://www.dropbox.com/s/0y31poo1ki...e script.zip
1. Flash The boot.img from the rom.zip(Open rom.zip using winrar/winzip and extract the boot.img from it). Put the boot.img in fasboot folder and then boot into fastboot and run the following line in cmd:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache
2. Boot into recovery and use the super wipe script.
3. Flash the rom.zip and then gapps.zip
4. Reboot.
5. Enjoy!

If you have followed the exacts steps which I have given, then it should work fine!
Maybe its a bad download? Download the ROM/Gapps again OR try downloading a different ROM like IceColdJelly (which I'm using) and repeat the steps again which I have given...
ROM Link : http://tunsd.de/downloads/ICJ/IceColdJelly421/aokp_ICJ422-V3.0.zip
Gapps: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
I am such a newb i forgot to put the gapps zip when flashing. What i need to do now to flash the rom with the with the rom and the gapps.I think i dont have to do with boot.img now.

Yes you don't need to flash the boot.img again... Just boot into recovery... wipe cache+dalvic and then flash gapps.zip (Download the one which I gave you)... and then reboot!
Edit: The above way can be followed if your booting into ROM correctly... If you can't then just follow the steps again which I had posted earlier in the thread...
Everything is fixxed thanks i add only gapps and the problem persist but clear contact storage and now is ok.

Yes, it's fine!
You can flash any rom out here!
Hboot sounds good to me.
I recommend doing a nandroid backup first so if anything goes wrong you can just restore from it but mind flashing your old boot.img again.

[Q] After unroot can't root again on htc one x

I rooted and unlocked on my ics in HTC one X and no rom. But after HTC officially released Jelly Bean 4.1.1 , i unrooted again and updated in official Jelly Bean. now i wanted to use CM 10.1 rom and many days i searched a lot and failed to root again. please help me i got some problem.
#unlocked
# S on
# Hboot 1.36
#OS JB 4.1.1
#when i select recovery in Bootloader it show a error sign and restart
#failed to open master usb....
#i tried JB but it failed too
* i did a factory reset and now erase everything.
* if i make a call somebody can't hear my voice and some said very low voice.
please help me. Thanks in advanced
After you updated the phone you must unlock the bootloader (if you relocked it) and flash a new custom recovery.
Flash the new boot.img from the new rom, perform a full wipe in the recovery and install the new rom.zip !

It's still shows unlocked and i wanna wipe or install from SD card but Recovery option not working.
Like i said, you must flash a custom recovery first. When you updated the phone its done with a stock recovery. A stock recovery is useless to us flashers.
Its all exactly the same as it was with ics.....

r u saying to do follow the same way like i did for unlocked+root on my ICS ? i tried it but HTCdev not working like before.
Look.....you don't have to do the htcdev thing. You say your bootloader is unlocked. So flash a custom recovey and install a JB rom as usual

Flash the system image in that thread. Boot, open supersu, unroot, reboot. Search for update through settings and apply.
Where do you put the IMG file? on the external SD card?? I'm in the same situation. I unrooted the phone first before i updated. Now it bootloops, and I cant go into recovery.

Have a look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/firmware-update-2-18-40-12-release-date-t3127193
OK I was able to get into recovery via this link http://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1006346
Do I then do the factory reset wipe/data option ? Im currently doing this.. but its just sitting there at "Wiping data formatting/data..." Not sure if this will progress or just stay there?
boot in recovery, do factory reset wipe/data then wipe cache and just wait, otherwise try erase cache via fastboot

if eveything fails, download and flash the latest full firmware from the asus site
have a look here: http://www.asus-zenfone.com/2015/04/how-to-flash-asus-zenfone-2.html
has instructions step by step
OK it wiped it, then i went to reboot after it was done.. but its just sitting at the main screen now with the cursor circling.. I guess I have to try the method you listed above, damn.
first give it sometime, it takes some time the 1st reboot.
Patience bro i feel you
Well its not working. So if I use this info http://www.asus-zenfone.com/2015/04/how-to-flash-asus-zenfone-2.html
What is the file that I use with ADB to send to the phone? Which firmware, or whatever file do I use?

its the latest firmware from here:
http://www.asus.com/Phones/ZenFone_2_ZE550ML/HelpDesk_Download/
or
http://www.asus.com/Phones/ZenFone_2_ZE551ML/HelpDesk_Download/
example: for ZE550ML is the UL-Z008-WW-2.17.40.6-user.zip so you type: "adb sideload UL-Z008-WW-2.17.40.6-user.zip"
OK i did that.. it finished and I cleared cache and rebooted and I'm just waiting on main screen again.... I don't have to flash a recovery IMG file right? I can just sideload that zip file correct?
I'm right there with you on the formatting /data

try to force decryption and then re-flash it again. It's easiest if you use the OnePlus toolkit available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/toolkit-oneplus-3-toolkit-unlock-t3398799
I was having the same issue after going back to official OOS and wanting to switch over to my current rom which gave me issues since I didn't have modified TWRP.

Yes it will. The toolkit will allow you to perform a full backup that you can restore later.
You can try flashing twrp from the toolkit, to see if it works. In my experience it didn't work until I forced decryption.
Try:
1. Fastboot erase recovery
2. Fastboot flash recovery "TWRP"
