I thought I was cured of my rom flashing addiction! Damn you Team Eos!
Is this ROM using 4.1.1 stock kernel?
I hope it does.

Goo manager is telling there is an update available. It wants me to update to version 2.1.0. In "About phone" I see EOS Stable release 3.0. Is goo manager acting up on me or what?

Yes you can. They pretty much all work.
I have to say that this rom is pretty smooth like it is. I'll give it a shot with the stock kernel that's for sure.
Yes, EOS 3 flashing at once! Always on my flashing list
Good Deal
Downloading and flashing this bad boy now
WOW! nice rom, everything is running great so far and it's very snappy too. no errors to report for now.
I really like the status bar toggles, and the swipe function for audio and brightness settings is an awesome feature.
Great work :good:
I love this rom so far. Very smooth and quick. I love what you did with the notification menu . Swiping in the notification menu to access the brightness and volume control is very clever. The toggles are awesome too.
Simple, clean and fast. Keep it up!

Hmm I'll be following this ROM. Could be the next big hit! Any chance getting transparency for nav and status bars

Got it loaded and setup will tinker around some more I too like the swipe feauture in notifaction that's cool-Thanks
So smooth, cool features and bloat free.
Can I get hold back to kill and volume rocker wake? This features are a must to me.
Nice work :good:
Edit: noticed that led torch toggle not always turn led on
Edit 2: Found hold back to kill on virtual buttons long press. Anyone have a mod to have volumke rocker wake? This is really important for me...
This rock.... and 1 question is this rom going to have lockscreen setting? I like to have 5 icons in my lockscreen.

Absolutely loving your ROM! Silky smooth and refined with the awesome custom additions. Big thank you.
Folks, get this ROM. Put it on with the Apex kernel and it's beastly. With fairly light use, I only dropped 10% after three hours. Every other config I did was 10% within the first half hour even idling.

Same on the cdma build.
I updated from build 6 to build 7 and now I'm missing the music app :/ Aside from that, this from is great! Barely lost any battery on power saver mode and its been 6 hours! On Francisco Franco's kernel ( on nightly 2)
Just one suggestion though, is there any way to make the custom setting options in the notification tray customizable?
Id really like to have the ability to add custom apps and toggles
Nonetheless, great rom!

EDIT: Just checked MD5, it was a bad download, works great now
Just installed this after a full wipe. It shows that the build is 4.0.1; Google wallet crashes immediately and repeatedly; No system menu options in notification menu; It seems like this is just a renamed stock ROM... I'll try V6 to see if it was just posted incorrectly.

where i can download lastest gapps working on this rom?

Hi,
really like your rom. GPS is working fine on this one and really nice bootscreen
However, there are a few things I've found which could be optimized (attached a few files).
Replace the old gallery with the new one from 4.0.3 (old one has a 30 FPS limit...)
Replace Genie Widget with the new one from 4.0.3 (old one is ugly compared to the new version)
Remove first line in /system/lib/egl/egl.cfg for better 3D acceleration
Otherwise it would be nice to have the possibility to reach the settings menu from status bar again without loosing the ability to set wifi and display brightness etc...

any bug on galaxy nexus?
I remember when you guys came out with the Tiamat ROM for my Xoom baby then it all became Team EOS.
Still rocking it on my Xoom, would love to bring it over to my Nexus.
Thank you!
I like it so far, although is there anyway to get brightness control added into the quick settings in the notification window?
Otherwise love it!
Thank you
Update: After using it for most of the day today, I apparently really rely on that T9 dialer, you start tapping out a name and it brings up the contact. Love the uniformity now with my 2 nexus devices running my fav rom.

This build runs great. Be sure to watch goomanager for updates. I have some monster commits coming. Hopefully soon we'll have a nightlys thread for the gnex builds.
Finally you decide to make it public .. wanted to keep it all for you? I actually tried it in version Nightly # 94 http://goo.im/devs/teameos/roms/nightlies/maguro
works fine .. I asked in the thread of the xoom, being that there was still a thread dedicated to the nexus ..

Its been a while since I've used a stock rom.
However, we probably don't have as many customisable items as roms such as AOKP or CM, there is only a few of us that work on this rom afterall.
reserved for me
Menu?
One of the features I have appreciated from other AOSP-AOKP-CM9 Roms recently is the abliity to set the MENU icon(Soft Keys) so that there are four soft keys in the navigation - I tried to figure out how to make that happen with the EOS settings on this ROM and unfortunately I am either blind and can't see it or it doesn't currently exist.
Is this in the plan moving forward or will this not be something we can do?
Having said that - it seems like a great rom - very smooth - snappy - nice work!
One other quick question - the ROM Calls for downloading GAPS - 4-22-2012 - but there is a more recent version - 4-29-12 - is there some reason why you wanted us to flash that GAPPS versus the more recent one?

Is the compass working correctly? I already use EOS on my Xoom so I may as well run it on my Nexus .
the kernel u use what build is it # wise
before i flash, does this rom allow you to use the default slide unlock as well as a pattern/pin unlock simultaneously?
On stock its one or the other. so u lose your camera shortcut for the pattern/pin unlock.

Its straight aosp unmodified. As there are highly talented kernel devs in the gnex scene, the kernel is not a focus of our development. Personally I use Franco kernel with his paid market app.
I've done the touchstone mod and I'm having trouble charging from the pogo pin circuit. If I connect a USB cable to charge then power up the touchstone then remove the USB, it will charge from the touchstone. If I simply power up the touchstone charger it will only charge of the phone is off. It feels like a software problem. Any ideas?
Make sure to grab the latest nightly. Almost all linaro optimizations are implemented and its fast as hell. Camera and Netflix are fixed as well. We're still looking at string aliasing optimizations but its breaking prop libs atm. Let me know if anybody finds broken apps. Oh and please benchmark against some of the other crappy roms floating around.
What's the latest nightly 23?

I love this ROM, by far my favorite one yet and I'd been running Xenon for months before this, so I'm very excited!
My only questions is, I guess, a general. For whatever my phone never enters "Deep Sleep" state unless I have my WiFi turned on (even if it's not connected). If I disable my WiFi it never enters deep sleep. Is this a normal thing?
Trying out this rom, I noticed my gps was taking a long time to lock in Maps compared to other roms I was using. The gps.conf file is filled with bloat. I went to a simple file from AOKP, rebooted, and gps locks much faster in Maps. I haven't looked in the sirfgps.conf file, but it may have problems as well. In my opinion, the Galaxy Nexus doesn't need gps tweaks and they can lead to problems with this phone.

Curious, isn't the GPS symbol supposed to blink when it's trying to obtain a lock? The one in this ROM sits hollow until it obtains a lock, then there is a dot in the center when a lock is obtained. I think I saw it blink once though. Anyone know what this means?

What is the default volume control stream?

its the volume stream (media, ring, alarm etc) your volume keys control when none is specified by the current app. (basically everywhere except in games and media apps).
For me, my phone is in vibrate 95% of the time, so i'd rather have the volume keys control the media volume. more useful that way
is there an alpha setting for the navbar color. (to make it transparentish)

i don't think it would make sense to have one since the apps are not extended to the nav bar. It's just gonna be solid white or black under the bar.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus (toroplus)
Eos is an android custom rom for a wide range of devices. We support phones and tablets alike. From the Motorola Xoom, to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, to the Asus Nexus 7.
We proudly base all of our modifications off of the Android open source project, and try to (whenever feasible) develop all of our modifications without basing them off of others work (kanging).
Even though we try our hardest to ensure that every single build is as stable as possible, we can't guarantee that every build will be stable. However, most of our users agree that our nightly roms are very much stable and are considered "daily drivers".
Android 4.1.1 AOSP based.

I am giving this a try. I hope 3G and WiFi work Had an issue with another ROM on here and when I asked they gave me **** so I gave them **** right back. I am not here to make trouble, I just want things that we use all the time to work I can't wait to flash it. I forgot to ask if you have Hotspot Hack?
Much appreciated will flash later!
has anyone seen a fix for the speaker to be louder i love this device just cant never hear the dang thing ring or get any messages? downloading now
Wow that does look pretty nice. thank you.
Ok so....
The ROM is very smooth. So far it's stable like STOCK but then there is this issue.
WiFi is horrible. It connects but it's very very slow. I mean 234K slow. 3G is very slow also around 500k average.
Now...
I have a few phones in my family. All of them SGSII and they are rooted. The Sprint tower is about 300 fee from my house so I am very lucky with my connection My other phones demolish my Nexus when it comes to speedtest so it's not even worth posting.
Reason for Rooting my phone.
I simply just wanted batter battery life because my phone only got 8 hours of use with only about 20 minutes of talk time. I really just want battery to last at least 14 hours not 8 with no talking at all. Please let me know if you guys figure out the radio issue.
Thanks

smooth so far
Great job been running for a few days and it has been very smooth. I was on codename android and it was very stable but, for some reason its last build was glitchy so I tried your rom and I have been very happy. Good job!
Is this still the latest most stable Team EOS build?
