Working fine . Thanks TeamEOS .
ahh Team EOS has made there way over here from the ASUS Transformer Section. great work!
any bug on galaxy nexus?
I remember when you guys came out with the Tiamat ROM for my Xoom baby then it all became Team EOS.
Still rocking it on my Xoom, would love to bring it over to my Nexus.
Thank you!
I like it so far, although is there anyway to get brightness control added into the quick settings in the notification window?
Otherwise love it!
Thank you
Update: After using it for most of the day today, I apparently really rely on that T9 dialer, you start tapping out a name and it brings up the contact. Love the uniformity now with my 2 nexus devices running my fav rom.
something different.. gonna try it for sure. great job
Anyone have any comments on how this rom is running as a daily driver?

This build runs great. Be sure to watch goomanager for updates. I have some monster commits coming. Hopefully soon we'll have a nightlys thread for the gnex builds.
Finally you decide to make it public .. wanted to keep it all for you? I actually tried it in version Nightly # 94 http://goo.im/devs/teameos/roms/nightlies/maguro
works fine .. I asked in the thread of the xoom, being that there was still a thread dedicated to the nexus ..

Nightlys are nightlys. 2.1 was just the release number for our initial public release of the gnex series.
I didn't get any issue since I use this rom ,very nice!
Just one thing , how can I keep this damn wifi working when the screen is off? I have this issue with all the rom I've tried , and I can't stream music with Spotify because of that...
Thanks

Yes correct, thanks!
I think the hot reboot during sleep is caused by the crt animation but i want to make sure before i go decompiling framework-res and maybe cause other probs.
As for the error in android itself i have no clue what causes this yet, must be something in the framework also.

Thanks for the logcat, i dont have much time to work on the rom with my work so i hope some other devs can jump in and help out.
Overall performance of the launcher and scrolling is very smooth compared to 4.0.3. This port has much potential.
Dont know if its worth putting alot of effort and time in it though as 4.0.5 is around the corner.
Status update :
Fixed the hot reboots and the errors!
Verizon login is giving me a hard time but it looks good so far!
Goes in beta today !

Thanks. Downloading beta. If there's anything I can help with, holla. Aside from fixed bug it was pretty solid though.
[EDIT] Works Great. Very Speedy, doing a restore of apps and as long as dead space runs landscape I've got myself a new daily driver. Thanks.

Hi,
For all the people who like PA Bugless Beast ROMs I'm posting here a modification of his ICS ROM with a personal choice of mods I like and use.
I chose Bugless Beast as base ROM because in my personal opinion is the cleanest, and least modified AOSP so I can add my preferences change.
On this version, as my first ROM I'm adding:
CM9 T9 Dialer
Extended Power menu - Reboot Options
MMS fix Added by Peter Alfonso
Power Notification Menu (To Open just tap the setting icon on the status bar, tap and hold to go to settings, thanks to TeamKang).
Battery Text in Notification
Custom Carrier Label
For more changes check the changelog below.
I'm still very new at all this custom rom thing, but I'm planning to add more things to the ROM but as always keeping it as Clean and AOSP as possible.
Also as I do my own updates I'll be adding every new nightly that Pete get's out of course with my mods if that is he hasn't already got them in.
Future Mods
Lockscreen options
Full Rom with Mods

Hi Mandaman2k
How about "the MOD addon" flashable instead of the Full ROM?
FYI - Reloaded ICS
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1531222
Your single flashable zip can support Peter Alfonso NS(crespo/crespo4g) and GN(maguro/toro)??!!
I think it'll be easier to update

this mod is for cm9 running roms
this rom is based on aosp
too bad, i really like the mod...
would be nice to have it for aosp based roms
then you can modify any aosp rom, and do not have to use aokp all the time
cant wait to try this!
Can you add a mod that enables the Back soft button on the right? That would satisfy many users coming from galaxy S2 world.
Thank you

Its been a while since I've used a stock rom.
However, we probably don't have as many customisable items as roms such as AOKP or CM, there is only a few of us that work on this rom afterall.
reserved for me
Menu?
One of the features I have appreciated from other AOSP-AOKP-CM9 Roms recently is the abliity to set the MENU icon(Soft Keys) so that there are four soft keys in the navigation - I tried to figure out how to make that happen with the EOS settings on this ROM and unfortunately I am either blind and can't see it or it doesn't currently exist.
Is this in the plan moving forward or will this not be something we can do?
Having said that - it seems like a great rom - very smooth - snappy - nice work!
One other quick question - the ROM Calls for downloading GAPS - 4-22-2012 - but there is a more recent version - 4-29-12 - is there some reason why you wanted us to flash that GAPPS versus the more recent one?

Is the compass working correctly? I already use EOS on my Xoom so I may as well run it on my Nexus .
the kernel u use what build is it # wise
before i flash, does this rom allow you to use the default slide unlock as well as a pattern/pin unlock simultaneously?
On stock its one or the other. so u lose your camera shortcut for the pattern/pin unlock.

Its straight aosp unmodified. As there are highly talented kernel devs in the gnex scene, the kernel is not a focus of our development. Personally I use Franco kernel with his paid market app.
I've done the touchstone mod and I'm having trouble charging from the pogo pin circuit. If I connect a USB cable to charge then power up the touchstone then remove the USB, it will charge from the touchstone. If I simply power up the touchstone charger it will only charge of the phone is off. It feels like a software problem. Any ideas?
Make sure to grab the latest nightly. Almost all linaro optimizations are implemented and its fast as hell. Camera and Netflix are fixed as well. We're still looking at string aliasing optimizations but its breaking prop libs atm. Let me know if anybody finds broken apps. Oh and please benchmark against some of the other crappy roms floating around.
What's the latest nightly 23?

Samsung Galaxy Nexus (maguro)
Eos is an android custom rom for a wide range of devices. We support phones and tablets alike. From the Motorola Xoom, to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, to the Asus Nexus 7.
We proudly base all of our modifications off of the Android open source project, and try to (whenever feasible) develop all of our modifications without basing them off of others work (kanging).
Even though we try our hardest to ensure that every single build is as stable as possible, we can't guarantee that every build will be stable. However, most of our users agree that our nightly roms are very much stable and are considered "daily drivers".

Or, you are gonna love this so much that you don't have to find other ROMs to flash. Addiction cured.

Goo manager is telling there is an update available. It wants me to update to version 2.1.0. In "About phone" I see EOS Stable release 3.0. Is goo manager acting up on me or what?
Can you other kernels with this ROM. I like to use Franco's kernel

Yes you can. They pretty much all work.
I have to say that this rom is pretty smooth like it is. I'll give it a shot with the stock kernel that's for sure.
Yes, EOS 3 flashing at once! Always on my flashing list
Good Deal
Downloading and flashing this bad boy now
WOW! nice rom, everything is running great so far and it's very snappy too. no errors to report for now.
I really like the status bar toggles, and the swipe function for audio and brightness settings is an awesome feature.
Great work :good:
I love this rom so far. Very smooth and quick. I love what you did with the notification menu . Swiping in the notification menu to access the brightness and volume control is very clever. The toggles are awesome too.
Simple, clean and fast. Keep it up!

Edit: noticed that led torch toggle not always turn led on
Edit 2: Found hold back to kill on virtual buttons long press. Anyone have a mod to have volumke rocker wake? This is really important for me...

Samsung Galaxy Nexus (toro)
Eos is an android custom rom for a wide range of devices. We support phones and tablets alike. From the Motorola Xoom, to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, to the Asus Nexus 7.
We proudly base all of our modifications off of the Android open source project, and try to (whenever feasible) develop all of our modifications without basing them off of others work (kanging).
Even though we try our hardest to ensure that every single build is as stable as possible, we can't guarantee that every build will be stable. However, most of our users agree that our nightly roms are very much stable and are considered "daily drivers".
Android 4.1.1 AOSP based.

The boot animation looks really nice

So... the wierdest thing has been happening. I keep trying to download Gapps from GooManager (from the actual EOS 3.0 "download gapps" link under "download rom") and it consistently downloads the 9/20 nightly for CNA.

Probably a bug on goo manager, or CNA bribed goo. Select download gapps package from the main menu

I love this ROM, by far my favorite one yet and I'd been running Xenon for months before this, so I'm very excited!
My only questions is, I guess, a general. For whatever my phone never enters "Deep Sleep" state unless I have my WiFi turned on (even if it's not connected). If I disable my WiFi it never enters deep sleep. Is this a normal thing?
Trying out this rom, I noticed my gps was taking a long time to lock in Maps compared to other roms I was using. The gps.conf file is filled with bloat. I went to a simple file from AOKP, rebooted, and gps locks much faster in Maps. I haven't looked in the sirfgps.conf file, but it may have problems as well. In my opinion, the Galaxy Nexus doesn't need gps tweaks and they can lead to problems with this phone.

I haven't noticed an issue with GPS lock but is this file anywhere convenient to grab and use?

Curious, isn't the GPS symbol supposed to blink when it's trying to obtain a lock? The one in this ROM sits hollow until it obtains a lock, then there is a dot in the center when a lock is obtained. I think I saw it blink once though. Anyone know what this means?

its the volume stream (media, ring, alarm etc) your volume keys control when none is specified by the current app. (basically everywhere except in games and media apps).
For me, my phone is in vibrate 95% of the time, so i'd rather have the volume keys control the media volume. more useful that way
is there an alpha setting for the navbar color. (to make it transparentish)

i don't think it would make sense to have one since the apps are not extended to the nav bar. It's just gonna be solid white or black under the bar.
