Blank Screen, no logo, double USB beep - HELP! - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hey Guys n Girlz,
I rooted my S3, then try to unlocked my bootloader and restarted. Now I can't get into any mode anymore. There is no boot logo the screen is just blank.
When i try to restart in odin mode or recovery the USB sound comes on, and then the double USB sound sounds...
Any ideas??
(I flashed my MyTouch 4G almost every day and never had an issue)

What do you mean you tried to unlock your bootloader ? Are you with Verizon?
Can you get into download mode with the 3 button combo? (Vol up, power, and home)

Well, I wanted to install MIUI and after the root I tried to restart and install the MIUI rom. Then that gave me a error 7 install aborted, so I read up and read somewher here (i am new to the S3 section) to unlock the bootloader via the ez unlock tool from the market. I dl it and ran it, then clicked on unlock. it said unlocked sucessfully and I tried to restart to install from zip but the S3 doesnt boot.
I cannot get into odin mode (vol up+home+power), but I hear the USB recognized sound and shortly 2 or 3 seconds after hear the usb unplugged sounds... (i had a little more than 50% battery left, idk if that makes any difference)
I tried to install this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30851639&highlight=black+screen#post30851639

I think I fooked it up because I used the VZW S3 Unlock app... is there anything I can do to revert that?

Even if nothing pops up on the screen, try booting into download mode, see if odin recognizes your phone. (it doesn't necessarily have to be on, as long as odin recognizes it, there's still hope.)

I thought if the root works for the verizon version and tmobile version then the bootloader will be the same. noob mistake. what the question is now, is why was I not able to install MIUI?

Tmobile's bootloader is all ready unlocked.
You just flashed Verizon's unlocked bootloader to a tmobile phone and bricked it. Maybe a jtag can fix it but you'll have to send it out and pay a fee for that.

At least you know you messed up by doing something totally not necessary. Tmobile bootloader is already unlocked. So does odin recognize the device? Download mode doesn't work? Have you even tried booting into recover?

You probably was not able to install MIUI because you didnt have the latest recovery on your device. That was the issue I had when trying to install a ROM

[Q] Samsung galaxy s2 t989 bricked after trying to root

Hi everybody, im new here.. so i'll go to the point.. i had recently buy a samsung galaxy s2 tmobile t989 version, im from south america, so i need it to root the phone in order to unlock it for all the operators.. so i followed this tutorial step by step http: //galaxys2root.com /galaxy-s2-root/ how-to-root-t-mobile-galaxy-s2-sgh-t989/ (just fill the spaces)
Now.. once the the odin finished.. the cellphone got in a boot loop, i couldn't even go to the recovery mode.. because in the recovery mode also reboots.. and now.. the phone wont turn on.. and when i connect to the pc via usb.. y get that noise.. its like two fast tinun (dont know how to explain) and now i dont know what to do because the only way i think this could be fixed is via JTAG but no one does that here.. only in the USA.. anybody can tell me why that tutorial didnt work and what can i do now?
I had that issue aswell. My phone got into bootloop and recovery actions rebooted the device. Only difference is that it happened after a regular reboot, not after Odin.
I'm not sure why your device isn't turning on, though. Maybe it just got completely discharged. Try to leave it connected to your PC for a while and then try to turn it on again.
Try downloading this Stock ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1350360
And follow these instructions on how to install it properly.
its not a battery issue cuz i have another galaxy s2, the international version.. and i managed to put the battery from the t989 in the international and charged it.. still.. the phone doesnt turn on.. so i cant do any odin stuff.. when i connect to the pc i get that the QHSUSB_DLOAD driver was not found..
Are you sure you're in 'Download Mode' when you connect to the PC?
Hold Vol Up + Vol Down and then connect the USB to the device.
ToastMan12 i already said.. "the phone wont turn on" i cant put in download mode or recovery or any mode.. WONT TURN ON
OK dude. Was just making sure...

Galaxy S3 I747 won't turn on, help pls!

Okay so after I have used Titanium back up to back up my contacts, then I went to ROM Manager to try to boot into recovery that way.
But after the phone turns off it does not turn on, nothing. I've tried to boot into recovery and downloading mode nothing works. Pull out the battery would not work either. Please help me!
First off, why back up contact when you can sync with Google?
Next, try power -> home button -> volume up for 2 seconds. That will get you into cwm , assuming your rooted. Or try the same combo but volume down. That will get you into download mode.
I can't see how backing up could bork your phone. Unless you did something else

[Q] Slimbean Brick

So I flashed the latest Slimbean last night and it instabricked my phone. Total failure. After I rebooted the phone would turn on, wont charge, wont go into recovery or download mode. Yes I flashed correctly and yes the battery was charged. This is probably the 10th rom i've tried with this phone. Any help out there?
Make sure you're trying to boot into download using the correct combo (Vol down + power + home buttons) use Vol up for recovery.
Make sure the file you downloaded is for US GS3 codename "d2att,d2tmo, or d2ca" and not anything international.
If you didn't flash anything international or from another phone you shouldn't be bricked.

The I9300 flash contains a kernel specific to I9300, not I747 or I747M...

Because the international versions hardware is COMPLETELY different than US version.
If you did flash international version you're completely out of luck, you're bricked and your phone is now a paperweight. Sorry bud.
Only thing that can bring it back to life is JTAG service.

Download Kies to get drivers then disable or uninstall kies so it doesn't disturb Odin. Flash stock ROM with Odin and you should be good to go. You'd need to get into download mode though on the phone. If you can't, I'd say you can only JTAG.
Course, I've never bricked my device. That's just what I gathered based on the little bit I just read up on. Good luck.

As stated by busarov, if your device is seen by your PC there is still hope!
Try Odin as many times as you can as long as your device is visible.
I've read its taken up to 5 times times for some users to get it to work after flashing international firmware.
Just don't use Kies. Since your device is rooted it will have problems. Stick to Odin.

There is not necessarily hope. The PC can still register a generic USB device on a hard brick. Unless the phone can be put into download mode, either by Volume Down + Home + Power or by homemade/purchased USB JIG, I'm afraid a JTAG is your only recourse.
Keep in mind if the device does not turn on at all, no vibrations, no flicker of light, even after a battery pull, and the only sign is a red LED turns on when plugged into the charger, the phone is hard bricked and will require a JIG (not guaranteed) or a JTAG.

Agreed, even though you flashed a Slimbean ROM, it was for the incorrect variant. Your thread title should be changed to reflect that, as it may cause new users to be fearful when flashing that ROM.

Just 5 minutes of reading and looking for and answer and you wouldn't have to make this thread -_-
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=SGH-I747&pcode=ATT#firmware
Any of those firmwares will work on a i747
If you have a i747M or you're not ATT look here and select your correct phone information in the drop down boxes:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/
These will restore you to factory, you will still have to root.

Does the phone actually connect to your pc? I assume you have the proper drivers installed? Open odin while in download mode and see if it detects the phone. Sounds as if the phone's bootloader is screwed. If its detected you should be able to fix without much trouble. Sometimes you have to flash the original stock rom as the newer ones sometime have trouble for whatever reason. Version 4.0.4 i believe.

I think I bricked my S3.. need help

Hi XDA
I think I just bricked my Galaxy S3 by loading the wrong bootloader on it
I can't turn on the phone, I can't boot into recovery or download mode.
The only sign on life is when I connect it to my PC I can hear the "USB connected" sound. If I plug it in without a battey, I can see a red led on the phone as well as the Windows sound.
I can see HS_USB QDLoader 9008 in the device manager
Please help.. I can't stand my old iPhone as a replacement :/
When you connect the phone to the computer and it makes the "connected" sound, do the buttons respond for download or recovery mode?
Have you tried a USB jig to force it into download mode?
You may have to have it revived via jtag if nothing works.

What exactly so you mean by "wrong bootloader" for a different model phone(example I747 bootloader on an I747M phone) or you were on mjb/mj5 and tried to flash an older bootloader? If it was wrong model you need a jtag/riff box to recover it if it was an older bootloader you need a 16gb or larger sd card (maybe an additional 1-2gb card too) and to look at debricking/unbricking threads there are a few of them. It seems to be about 70% effective so good luck.

That's it. Good luck.
Just for ****s and giggles since the computer recognizes the phone when plugged in, try to use odin to see if you get a connection light.. if so, attempt to flash mr robinsons stock rooted image.
Edit: that is taking into consideration that you weren't on 4.3 stock before you bricked

You can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549068 but it is likely to not work being that you flashed a different models bootloader, if it doesn't work start looking for a jtag service.
The link has a 4.1.2 debrick and 4.3 debrick for the i747m you guys can also flash 4.3 via Odin where as us AT&T guys can't.

I tried the DIY USB Jig without success
I sent the phone to a repair shop for JTag service
