Here are a lot of BUILD.PROP tweaks for GIO users, made by me during this year.
Lot of them are not tested. Needed someone that can do it!
This evening I'll modify this post adding a guide to how add it on your phone.

Ty dude. Check out other tweaks to add and remove.
Thanks for your help!

Also ro.media.panorama is useless for Gio

Dont think 5 fingers fit my screen really, and isnt supportive neither...
Good list though, should have a look at ace thread except camera tweaks, and maybe add flashable zips from multiple roms (cm7/9/10 and some stock 2.3.6) to make it easier?!

I thought about it, but in build.prop there are important lines for the rom info.
How can I only add few lines in that file, without deleting anything?

Use build.prop from every rom and just add the lines, a file in updateracript will always overwrite so you need much versions. ...
But I think you can experiment a bit and try to implent them all into 1 flashable zip with aroma installer to choose the right build.prop for the right rom..

In this way I should make thousand packages, one for all GIO's roms... I've to find another way...
For the INIT.D tweaks there's no problem, but for build.prop tweaks is different...

not completely true
you can use all latest stock 2.3.6 as almost all of them are based on 2.3.6 wich are about 5, 6 or something , and latest cm7, phiexz, marcins, cm9/10.
its quite some work though, but copy paste method is also not optimal...

well thats true, but I think they"ll know wich rom they are using, hmm?
I think you need the different build.props for stock roms ecause of fingerprint, you can change build number, thats just a name. but fingerprint is different in another stock rom, so is buildnummer, but in custom roms it is changed so that wont affect the booting process, but fingerprint will....
I dont think theres a method in flashing to "add" these lines so the easiest way is just to keep it for copy-paste usage...

Mmmh. So the easiest way is to make one package for each rom"s fingerprints? Well, I could do it.
I'll add new tweaks and then I'll try to apply them by flashing!

It won't work on stock .50 unless you have deodexed the frameworks.
@ares: Look in your framework folder and see if you have any .odex files. If so, this wont work for you.
All you need for it is the android.policy.jar. But beware with the XTX and KA roms, cause there are 2 versions of the android.policy.jar; 1 for small app and 1 for no small apps.

Unfortunately, I haven't deodexed a ROM before, but here is a post of someone deodexing the stock files.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1888222
Good luck.
P.S. Why not try one of the ROMs that are deodexed and have this included, as well as many other great features?

AFAIK its may caused a confilct. First, x-burst tweak cant combined with v6,adrenaline, etc(check official thread). Second, this tweak have some combined tweak that has been added in x-burst such as ram script, deep sleeping tweak. Third, if you have been including x-burst to your rom you should not to adding crossbreeder again, because its has included in x-burst. cmiiw, just saying sir. i know u have a lot knowledge bout android than me hihi

Sorry I am not getting you..
I can only say if you are using some other kernel it wont work. Only thing is use QUISS kernel and make your ROM to work with it.
It is not just init.rc changes for SD card mounting, there are many changes required at ROM level as well and with this QUISS kernel hell lot of changes to make the ROM to boot and work as expected.
So if you can get some update from QUISS kernel and if that update can work with any other kernel let me know.

I can only say if you are using some other kernel it wont work. Only thing is use QUISS kernel and make your ROM to work with it.

[WIFI][FIX] Hyperion 8 - GM FINAL

First, i want to thank sir Carl and the developer who create the RIL RAMDISK Fix for DXLL1 Rom, now we can flash any kernel on it. ( not all of it because you may need an old ril ramdisk ). Now i'm going to show guys how i fix the wifi myself.
Before i am doing this, i have successfully flash DXLL1 + HYPERION 8 ROM + HELL'S KERNEL (any kernel) + RIL RAMDISK FIX (for imei) + This procedure = stable hyperion rocks!
Here's my current configuration :

Now, you may need this :

- Latest SU ( Super User )
- Root Explorer
- The RIL RAMDISK FIX that SirCarl provided in the Hyperion 8 Thread
- Hell's Kernel ( find it on development section )
- Most of all, READ READ READ.

Let's start :
As i told above, you need this
Open ROOT EXPLORER the find SYSTEM/ETC : find the WIFI FOLDER there. Pres and hold on the folder, wait for the window to show then find PERMISSIONS
Wifi folder permissions :
( basically, the asteris is the check and the dash is not check )
* * *
* - *
* - *
Save then open the WIFI FOLDER and scroll down, find the WPA_SUPPLICANT.CONF and again set permissions like this :

After that REBOOT device.
NOTE : When i did this procedure i keep the wifi on. So i suggest you to turn it on.
Now, after a successful reboot, go to the wifi settings and Voila! Wifi is back in action!
NOTE :
- You must charged battery to maximum of 50% to 80% to avoid errors
- Learn android basics
- Don't get nervous while doing this, just do the steps CLEARLY to avoid errors

I meant it is easier to use the flashable Ril Ramdisk in cwm than going through this procedure. I flashed it with cwm and it took only a few minutes.

I'm not insulting him but a ROM should have ICS applications also like live wallpapers as stock ones and widgets.

Man! It looks ICS but when I show it to my friends, they tell it fake due to no animation behind the platlogo even when I changed everything, android ver. to 4.0.4, platlogo to stock ics but no animation.....

Because the ROM used stock Gingerbread 2.3.6 (DXLL1) as base rom. You cannot change its API Level (to run Android 4.x.x apps). Please discuss this in other place.

It might look like Ics, but if you bothered to check the about and you will see the version is 2.3.6 Gingerbread. Why are you trolling? Obviously you do not have clue about custom roms or the aptitude to read...

[4.4/4.4.x][PATCH] Qualcomm-optimized Dalvik & Bionic libraries

Please read the original Thread before doing something..
Q: Can I use it on other devices?
A: Yes, you can use this patch on every Krait device that uses AOSP-based ROM (examples: Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2013). Don't flash it on stock ROM on non-Nexus devices, as they already include these optimizations (that includes Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play editions!).
I saw this thread in Nexus 4 forum [4.4/4.4.x][PATCH] Qualcomm-optimized Dalvik & Bionic libraries Then I download and test with
[CM11][4.4.2][D802/800/801][ROM]temasek's UNOFFICIAL Build - V63 [07/04] it's OK my phone can boot.
I can not confirm this patch can use very well with g2 or have benefit for we.
please consider with yourself.
Have you ever wondered why your Nexus 4 performs worse than other flagship devices with the same quad-core CPU in benchmarks? Not any more! I present you with a very simple patch that will boost your performance to what other APQ8064-based devices offer.
Q: Can I use it?
A: Yes, if you're on any 4.4/4.4.x ROM.
Q: How does this work?
A: This patch consists of two files that include optimized bionic and Dalvik libraries for any KitKat ROM.
Q: What is bionic?
A: It is a vital system library that provides i.a. basic math and memory access functions to every other library and application in Android.
Q: What is Dalvik?
A: In short, Dalvik is a virtual machine in which every not-native-code app runs. You can read more about it in a Wikipedia article.
Q: How do I benefit from this patch?
A: In two ways: bionic patch provides faster memory access and optimized some of the math operations, dalvik provides optimized Dalvik Virtual Machine library that allows faster code execution.

That is not my experience. I have even had boot loops on different AOSP based ROMs. So make a backup before flashing system files as always.

In red: 4th and 5th lines of the op
"Don't flash on stock ROM on non-Nexus devices"
I think that's pretty clear, always have to read the op in its entirety.
I'll give this a shot and will report back, running vs980 3.25 build of beanstalk.

Anyways, this mod isnt something special, like any other script, mod and placebo things.
Guys expecting some rocketboosting thingy, when you apply an patch without changing the hardware.
The G2 itself IS already pretty powerful, why you wanna hurt it with putting such stuff on it... i dont get it.

Yes, it is powerful but the overall user experience is much improved if the battery last longer with optimized libs.
Optimization means lower operating temperatures and longer life for your device.
Every AOSP rom suffers from proper optimization. This patch is most welcome!

how to know if it is bases on AOSP? sorry im a newbie
[url="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51547944&postcount=1220]Here's a link[/url] @Hammer_Of_The_Gods posted some time ago. It's the bionic optimizations only. If you choose to install either the bionic or the dalvik (which shouldn't be necessary but w/e floats your boat), then I'd recommend using the links in that thread only. The thread OP linked hasn't been updated in a month, whereas @jphilippon's thread was updated a less than a week ago.
Also, what the hell is wrong with these commenters... "I flashed on stock ROM, boot loop..." "this is all placebo..."
Read the directions. You can't blame anyone but yourself for not adhering to the directions. I don't blame Kraft for making bad Mac n' Cheese because I decided to replace the water with orange juice and put it on the grill...
And if you don't think this mod does anything, ignore it. I saw a thread where some guy ported the stock LG keyboard to AOSP ROMs. That sounds stupid as hell to me, but I sure didn't go in that thread and poop-post.
P.S. DON'T FLASH THE DALVIK zip on PA4.2b3. The bionic optimizations worked fine for me, though.

Most ROM posts say that somewhere.
But heres a list of some AOSP based ROMs and ROM bases:
CM/CyanogenMod based ROMS
PA/ParanoidAndroid based ROMS
AOKP/Android Open Kang Project based ROMS
P.A.C/PA+AOKP+CM
OmniROM
MoKee
And others that I don't remember right now.
All of the ROMs in G2 Original Android Development I think are AOSP based. But beware. You will get boot loops with this patch in some of them. I can't remember which though.
