The Jellaxy Builds both JB and AOKP seems to support themes which is a good thing.
But I could not find which all 3rd party themes can be installed on our MDPI device.
Can somebody suggest few if thy know????
Thanks
You can apply them. Change your density to 140 > Reboot > Apply the theme if it's HDPI compatible > Change back to default 160 density > Reboot > Profit

So I was wondering how do you change themes. I checked the themes section and a lot of them said I need a theme chooser but I dunno what that is. I am using android me cm10. Links n instructions would be awesome
If your rom has theme chooser, you will see a "Themes" menu in the phone settings.
Download a theme apk, go to the themes menu, select what you want and press "apply". Reboot after changing themes.

yeah i dont have have a themes menu in phone settings =[
i thought it was built into cm10
what are some roms that have theme chooser, is it possible to flash it into my current rom? i dont want to reflash another rom and set up eeverything again
I have tried numerous jb roms based off cm10 and every time I try to apply themes thru the supposed built in theme engine, I get the "this theme was not compiled properly" so I do the whole process of apply system, reboot, apply theme (which then again gives the error) and reboot again anyway and still nothing. I've tried alien Droid, the sgt7 and Hellfire roms so far but none of them allow me to theme. Any ideas?
I'm in the same boat

Are you installing KF specific themes, like this one? I know a lot of the themes out there are made for the phone UI, but I'm not sure how they would be affected using JB in phone UI. I'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with the LCD density, though.
Back when the theme switcher was first introduced, I believe the way around that was to change the LCD density to a phone's LCD density, apply the theme and change it back.

I hadn't thought of that. I've always just used a theme this way. Ill give that a try.

You need to chance the DPI from 160 to 140
here is a zip file(page 96 on twa_priv cm10 rom) you can flash before you add the theme it chance the DPi to 140
after add the theme you flash the same zipfile again an it chance the DPi to 160
read this you can find it in the cm10 rom of twa_priv on page 96.
i used it with the theme gobalt from the playstore an it workt perfect.
I finally got the DPI to change. To make it easier for anyone else that wants to install a theme i modified the Toggle zip that twa_priv made so that it will toggle DPI from 160 to 140 and back. so just flash in recovery and then install the theme you want then flash it again to restore it back

Worked a charm! Thank you soooo much.
To the MoltenMotherBoard team,
Any chance of a flashable update.zip / patch.zip to go from release 6 to release 7. Just to avoid having to setup a new rom from scratch again?
Thanks.
PS. Good work with this project and your MMB Tweaks :good:

Bug Report - DebianDroid Lenny - Release 7
Hi Guys,
Just thought i'd advise of a few bugs I have found with the latest release. I would post this in the Development thread, but i'm not allowed yet because i'm an XDA noob!
1. System Settings > (Interface) DebianDroid Settings > Interface > Notification Power Widget > Widget Buttons > Brightness Modes >
Force Closes.
This is a new bug, it worked fine in release 6.
Also, if it's possible with this one, can you remove the option for "Auto" as the Gio doesn't have this ability.
2. System Settings > (Interface) DebianDroid Settings > Interface > Notification Power Widget > Widget Button Order >
The re-arranging doesn't work like it's suppose to. You can only drag the rows to the very top. Getting the order you want is still achievable, however you have to do it in reverse and it can be a little confusing and tedious.
This was also a bug in the last version.
3. System Settings > (Wireless & Networks) More... > Tethering & Portable Hotspot > USB Tethering >
Turns on, says it's tethered and then turns itself off again straight away.
Not sure if this worked on the last version or not.
4. System Settings > (System) Performance > Spare Parts >
Force Closes.
This was also a bug in the last version.
5. Duplicate settings menu items.
"Performance" and "Lockscreen" appear under the "DebianDroid" sub-menu as well as the main "System Settings" menu.
"Application" sub-menu appears under the "DebianDroid" sub-menu as well as under the "Apps" sub-menu.
I know you advised that you had cleaned up/removed un-needed menu items in release 7 change log, but I just thought I would point these duplicates out and see what you wanted to do with them.
In regards to your MMB Tweaks 0.9, have you ever thought about integrating them into this ROM. That would be awesome! :highfive:
Great work with this by the way, I have tried/tested heaps of ROM's for the Gio and this is definitely one of the best. Please rethink about finishing up developing on this ROM as it would be a real shame, even if you only do bug fixes mainly as it would be worth it.
Regards, :fingers-crossed:
How does one actually apply any different cm10 themes on wild for the night rom?? Is there a chooser apk, or a change in settings?? States not properly compiled & cannot apply
Hit apply anyway and reboot. If it won't apply anyways then you're using a theme for the wrong device resolution. You want hdpi themes not mdpi or xhdpi etc.
I like to break stuff!
i need a font for cm11 i cant find any font for cm11 and rox but in the settings > themes > font
i install a font but i dont know how to make it work for cm11 ..... help
