I saw this messaging .apk and i really like the layout and everything, I was just curious if someone could change all text colors to white for me.
Not a fan of the green timestamps and the blue reply text color in photo 1. Not a fan of the orange timestamps in photo 2. Other than that I really like it!

Haha, I tried. Thus my posting here. I'll probably give it a better try on my next day off. I can edit and move .PNG files but editing colors and whatnot kind of goes over my head.

Might have to be using a deodexed rom to flash it. You can backup first and try it though. It might work since it's a basic mms.apk.

Is there a version of your theme without modified Softkeys (maguro)?
Damn I want to run this but B22 isn't working well on my phone so I reverted back to M3. Great stuff though.
Im using AOKP 22 Maguro.
When I flash the zip, my softkeys and notification bar dissapear. Seems like my phone doesnt like the updated SystemUI.
Theme looks really nice tho
If this can work with the unblackened theme.. that would be glorious.

I might do that in the future. This one was done so it worked well with Nitroz' Exodus theme- hence the black/white.
Is it possible to just download and install the apk on unrooted stock 4.0.2? Or need to be rooted and via adb only? Thanks!

Not possible on a non rooted rom. Adb is a preferred method but making a flashable rip is another option.

humm?? my Email apk is named EmailGoogle.apk vs. Email.apk. Something tells me that "will" make a difference? Is the only way to confirm to test it? thanks!

All animations have been tested on ICS TW roms only.
So I don't know if they will work with AOSP.

That's a png in frameworks. More than likely it'll be a 9.png image. If you decide to explore and see, I'd recommend using HUES, nothing else. Colorizing will break the 9.png, and it'll show ugly lol

Did I see that when you first flashed this it didn't take effect, or was that someone else? If it was you, I see that it is working for you now--how did you get it to take effect? I've flashed a few times and still have the stock boot menu.

if you flashed it ...its there and the way that you access it is when you hit the power button and the basic stock restart screen pops up ...hit restart and the box that you see pops up afterwards and gives you the options that you are looking for..it took me a second to figure it out ...:good:
Added this to my ROM and gave credit, it functions well and seems to be popular.

Ehh, thanks a lot for pointing that out. I guess I've been using CM-based ROMs for too long and I'm used to the full menu popping up when the power button is pressed. Feeling a bit sheepish now.
