which baseband for arc 2.3.4? - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

FiRst sorry for my poor english :victory:
I've just got an arc with stock. 2.3.4 (rooted and unlockd) and I have some question:
1..there are few bb such as 36, 56, 70, 72, 77..so which bb is for GB2.3.4. Rom. And which one for ICS?
2..Anything go wrong if I flash lt18i bb onto lt15i
3..I want to flash JJHYBRIDrom but it need an ICs kernel. Does it mean I must flash another ics rom. first ? Can I upgrade direct to JJHYBRId from current GB.
Thanks for reading :fingers-crossed:

Xperia Arc LT15i
Rooted/Bootloader unlocked
Jellybean - FXP138/CM10

For GB - Anything between BB 36 up to 67 is normal. For ICS - everything between BB 70 to 77 is the way to go.
But, if you want good battery / signal reception, flash BB 36 if you're on GB or BB 70 for ICS. Lower = better!

Thanks guys, I do with bb70 and JJhybrid

JAJA
Como midieron la diferencia entre bb36 y bb64 ???
En ginger bread ?

Check papayayohgurt's thread on baseband collection. For GB it's 64 or 66. But I'm on 83 with GB libs. Check either one of these works because it also depends on where you are at.
Rom: X-Gamer v2.0
Kernel: DoomKernel v22
Device: Lt18i

[Q] Basebands for ICS

I have an Xperia Arc S, running JJ's Hybrid ICS Rom. Since installing I've noticed battery drain and that I'm currently on baseband 48. I noticed JJ suggests baseband 64, but all baseband posts I've come across say don't do it on ICS. So how do I change the baseband when I'm on ICS?
Thanks
flashback to .42 then do baseband, then go back to ICS?
baseband 36 with libraries is the best baseband for battery
I'm using Baseband 64 and arconium ICS v5. Battery life is pretty good.

Xperia S on GB?!?!

Hey guys,
I'm thinking about going back to GB as ICS it's becoming a burden rather then an awesome thing but I've installed some Xperia S stuff (from here: http://www.xperiablog.net/2012/02/25/xperia-s-home-launcher-and-widgets-leaked/) and I quite like the tools and the home screen.
Can I install it on GB 2.3.4? Is it compatible?
ICS for Xperia S hasn't been released yet. It is still on Gingerbread (2.3.7).
Yes yes, they are compatible.
Or you can flash an Xperia S look alike ROM based on GB.. Original Xperia S Rom Beta 5 for Arc / Arc S
Thank you! Installed!
Keeping a GB 2.3.4 with Xperia S stuff for the time being (while ICS is "buggy") and it rocks!

[REQUEST] Libs for baseband 70!

Anyone that can upload the corresponding libs (baseband patch) for baseband 70 (for Xperia Arc / Arc S)? It would be very, very appreciated
I'm going to use this together with Xperia Pureness ROM and I need it pretty fast.. The search button didn't give me any results, so I'm asking here instead after the BB70 libs for Arc S.

[Q] Old baseband and new kernel

I have baseband 56 on my Arc (4.0.4) to communicate with a Renault Bluetooht Hands Free system, with jasonstein kernel.
Can I flash a JB/ICS rom with this baseband, to keep working with this bluetooth device?
Thank you!

[Q] Using new baseband on old rom?

Hey every! My Xperia Pro is running Gin2Jellybean 2.4.0 and advanced stock kernel. If I flash Baseband77 from to my device, could anything bad
happen? Gin2Jellybean is GB based and the latest baseband for GB on xperia pro is 64. Can anything go wrong if I flash a newer ICS baseband for
my device?
Thanks!!

It will work fine, though certain baseband-related differences may occur (I am not sure, which).
