[req] vizio smart TV remote app

This would make my life so much easier. And it would be great to control my TV with my phone.

Omg your really addicted that much to your phone. Sounds to me that would be one more thing to complain about in the Dev section about " my battery life is draining " dude use the remote ! :screwy:

Fortunately I have a nexus s battery from verizon in my phone. I have phenominal battery life. On the other hand my vizio remote is always taking a **** on me.. Just would like a more reliable way of controlling. It should be easy to develope due to the fact that they are both bluetooth devices..

Yes its the first nexus s battery. 8.85 wh. Its just a little morechubby than our stock battery but it fits just fine only a little buldge.

Your tv requires an rf transmitter which the phone doesn't have. UNLESS it is networked and can be controlled over WiFi (like alot of receivers can). But of course you need an app

The newer M3Ds from Vizio have Bluetooth capabilities. I tried to pair my phone with one and it was a no go.

My Vizio TV has built in wifi also, and I am interested in this too, cuz I broke my remote. And none of the universal ones at your neighborhood electronics store have the Netflix, Amazon, or VooDoo buttons.

This is exactly the reason I requested this app. My remote just randomly stops working.. it would save a headache if a developer would do this. After all the remote is Bluetooth..

Haha for the first 30 seconds of the video it kinda looks like how iPhone does it. I was playing with a friends 4s and that bottom bar with the recent apps on it looks pretty much the same.
Now having 2 different apps open & on the screen at the exact same time.....wow. That's awesome and I hope we can get it too!

It is sad that Cornerstone did not take off. I loved it on my HP Touchpad. Being able to run three apps at the same time was just so awesome.

Sherman looks happy! My daughter used sketchbook mobile for my sketch.
On a side note if anyone got the impression that the drawings had to be good I apologize. In truth I wanted to see any silly thing that gets made on a note 2.

Great phone

You'll definitely enjoy it. I'm still learning new things. Just used the stylus and editing features today for a meeting I had and I loved using it. Would have loved to have this phone when I was searching for a house.
