Verizon's Galaxy S3 vs G-Nexus(which is better?)

So i decided to a Comparison/ vs video of the verizon GS3 vs Verizon G-Nexus... you may or may not agree with this video, non-the less im interested in hearing what you have to say... tell me whether im wrong or right? let me hear your side of the story

Your right about the display being better on the gs3 I don't know why Samsung didn't put the same one on the galaxy nexus but if my nexus isn't next to a gs3 then I think my screen is great

Your right... the only thing that boggles my mind is that ... they both have the same screen technically... so I don't know how the GS3 looks better

I also think it's a different screen and of course wanted to put the best displays on there own Samsung branded phones. The note also has a better screen than my galaxy nexus

Either way, Google didn't want bleeding edge anything in any of the Nexus phones.

Its like comparing Ferrari and BMW, both are awesome, but.. And Nexus is more than 200$ cheaper, so.

I thought the Gnex and S3 had the same exact display? Gnex has higher ppi as well. But some reason the S3's does look brighter...

They do have the same exact display... but get them both next to each other and see what your eyes tell you..

Pure hardware GS3 being a pure Google phone GNexus
I'd say go for whatever your taste lies in stock Android or tw. And wallet size lol

I agree. I just looked at one the other day...crazy. The colors look more vibrant, and even the res looks better.

I'm coming in a bit late here but I have both and am obviously on the nexus due to loving pure droid plus so much more dev support the bootloader was just unlocked on the sgs3 so roms and such are slim pickings at the moment either way though I love this nexus

Anyone going from the SGS II to the iPhone 5?

Just posting a question as I want to know and hear if anyone is even contemplating on making a switch? I'm no iPhone fanboy and think the Samsung Galaxy S 3 surpasses the iPhone 5 on many levels. :good:

I won't be switching to the iPhone 5 because I love T-Mobile, I love tinkering with Android, and because I love my SIII.
However, everyone keeps going on about how it looks the same as the 4s and I just can't agree with this. Yes, the front looks the same (just longer) but they really have updated the features that I hated about the 4/4s. For example, I thought it was ridiculous that they made the back of the 4 and 4s glass. It looked lame and was just one more piece to easily break. I also didn't like the silver bezel (not a fan of it on the SIII either).
Now that the bezel is black and the back of the phone is no longer glass, I am actually a fan of it. I especially like that it is a bit thinner than the 4/4s and skinnier than the SIII.
If I was a big iTunes user, needed my phone to seamlessly work with my Macbook Pro (Android sucks at this), and enjoyed the simplicity of IOS I would probably get it. But I'm definitely sticking with Android. The SIII is the most solid phone I've ever owned.

Apple says the gs3 basically is an iPhoneso I got the best iPhone already

True that the SGS 3 might be like the iPhone 5, but I would take the SGS 3 over the 5 any day. The only nice thing I like about the 5 is the aluminum body and how solid it feels (if its anything like the 4). Other than that, they can have it

Why would I ask this question in the Note 2 forum when im sure people in that forum are getting the phone. I'm a S3 owner and wanted to see what other S3 owners are switch or getting the Note 2 and still keeping the S3. I myself am getting it but keeping my S3.

Im not gonna lie this phone seems pretty bosss. And im with that other guy. If i can trade my s3 with little cash added i'll prolly do it. But other than that, only improvement is the quad core in my mind.

Pass. I've got a ten inch tablet don't need to spend $600 on a phone when i just got this one.

me to i just got my note 10.1 3 weeks ago ... but i would trade my s3 for this in a heart beat !

only in the case of being 'future ready' with the right LTE band for tmo... but of course i just signed my life away for 2 years so i don't suppose i'll be trading up ... i knew i shouldve stuck w/prepaid...

will international Note II N7100 work on T-Mobile? Or the same like th S3?

Anyone remember this bad boy? Me and my wifes first smartphones dubbed "the iphone killer". Off topic but amazing to see them side by side. Samsung sure has come a long way. Love the hell outta my note 2 by the way!

Winner winner chicken dinner! I would have used my G1 but it won't turn on or charge. I can't find my OG MyTouch either.

I just sat my htc hd (dual boot wiMo 6.5 and a xda sd rom) aside for this great gadget. Before that it was the tmobile wing.
