That best OTG cable wont work with the Samsung Note, I have the same one for the Nexus 7, and it took almost one month to receive.
But the price was great....

As for the ps3 controller on amazon, be careful a lot of sellers are selling fake ones even if they are fulfilled by Amazon, make sure you by one that is sold and shipped by amazon ..

Yeah saw that last night. that is eactly like sgt car dock i have, except for a smaller tray.
Seems sorta pricey- i got my sgt one for 39 before a 20% discount. order directly from sammy....
Fwiw the arm/suction aparatus on my sgt dock is rigid and didnt rotate. this really limits mounting options. . this oem gnote one looks like the same (just different tray).
. . . still looking...most of the universal ones seem to have lots of bulky clamping mechanisms. . .yuck. .

How bout that SGP car dock mobile stand that has a clamp and suction cup on its back? It's made for s2 and iPhone. But maybe the clap can extend to accommodate the width of the Note?

I've sent an email to them as well.
I got the answer that they do not have any plans releasing a holder for Galaxy Note, due to the fact that it has not yet been released.
I got the reply from Brodit on the 26th of October so perhaps they are now looking into creating a holder for the Note...
If anyone wants to email them to create a buzz/demand for the holder, please feel free to do so...

I have been told by one supplier on eBay that the official dock is not compatible with the Note while encased in a gel type skin. It's the same story with the desk dock too. That's put a bit of a dampener on them for me, as they were both on my xmas list. However, weighing up pros and cons I'd rather keep the case on the phone than have the convenience of the official dock. A universal dock and a loose lead will have to do for me, which is what I'm using at the moment.

Official G Note car dock should have the micro usb plug on the dock itself so it's possible to just attach the phone to the dock and you get also the power supply without connecting manually the power supply cable . Finally they made it...

Car Dock
I've been using a bracketron vent mount with my galaxy S2 when I got my Note the mount was able to hold it horizontally but not vertically little too much weight up high. When I got the flip case cover I thought this would never work but to my surprise when put the flip top all the way over I can clip the case to the bottom of the mount and holds perfectly in the vertical position. The phone is still supported by the 2 feet at the bottom. The small clip that I used was from Home Depot think it was $.99. Pretty good temporary solution for me.

I've ordered this one should also work with the new gel case ive just got. The case is excellent by the way.

Added to the list. I have never heard of these. They look like they add little to no bulk based on the pictures I found in the International forum and it looks very nice. But I personally don't like how the top is exposed. But for those seeking a minimalistic case, this would probably be perfect.

I want an extra battery as I sometimes go into the woods for a few days at a time and still like to use my phone for a few things such as playing music.

My Realook just came in today and I have applied it. It reminds me of the Skinomi that I have for the Transformer and resembles the Zagg, which I am NOT a huge fan of. It feels a little sticky. I much prefer the harder/slick ones like my Realook for the SGS2 where it doesn't look like I have a screen protector on there. I might have to order a different one. My TPU case should be here tomorrow and I am running a 16GB Patriot C4 card. I will probably buy a 32GB C10 Samsung later on. I don't need a lot of storage anyways since I usually listen to Pandora.
I got the new Zagg HD shield at Best Buy last night and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. The old Zagg was so rubbery feeling, but this one feels very smooth. Nothing beats the real glass, but this is great option for protection.
I also got the Rocketfish TPU case, but I'll be returning it as soon as my $5 transparent TPU case comes in the mail.

I can't actually say, I would also like to know, it does work with most tpu, my leather type case is 5mm thick and it still work.

be prepared that the samsung version will come with a battery cover which may be thicker, and most cases might not fit.

actually it's USD40.25 shipped to the US, it's also the old version which is thicker.

Just ordered a couple of these Qi Receivers, built into Samsung-Galaxy S3-like back door and is fully Qi compatible.They are simular to Verizon's Qi back door. However, it is not as thick (only added 0.04" or 1mm) and great fit for TPU cases/ Spigen Neo Hybrid, etc. This Qi back door charges perfectly even with TPU cases installed!! They are not modded with Touchstone or Powermat (neither one being Qi anyway) nor "homemade"...

Yes, in the USA they do for sure (about $37 for the backdoor alone - in their stores and website) - and their Qi charger is actually the " LG " Qi charger. Disadvantage: LG emits alarm when fully charged...not for your bedside charging method...

i have the transformer version of the ebay link you posted, i can say that the case is pretty decent, no odd fake leather scents or anything, holds the tablet in place nice and snug and the bottom portion hold the dock (this one of course doesnt). it can stand as well, kind of like what you're looking for.

I'm using my mom's galaxy note 10.1 and she has a zenus leather journal case which is very nice. the quality is superb and functionality wise it offers as much as anything out there: two different degrees of view angles in landscape mode and one (iffy) angle for portrait. From what I can' tell this company makes really nice cases. I'm interested to see what will come out for the 2014 edt.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 and Galaxy tab 3 10.1 seem to have the same dimensions.
Doesn't this mean we can use the same cases as well. Maybe not for all of them since there are differences in ports on the side etc.but some of the cases are fully exposed on the side and as such wouldn't make a difference.
I was looking at the zenus case for the galaxy tab 3 10.1.....I'm thinking it might fit.

If they have the same dimensions I'd imagine it would fit, however there might not be holes/openings in the right places to accommodate the S-Pen, camera, charger, buttons etc.
I wish Logitech would make their new covers for this tablet.
Is there anything similar in terms of quality and feel of the iPad smart covers? The official Samsung cover looks as close as it can get, but what material is that?

It should be polyurethane. Slimline Case might be more affordable. Hope Poetic makes slimline for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 soon.

well I also found some variety of covers for Note 10.1 (2014) edition at Fommy...they have variety of covers in multiple brands..I purchased one cover for my iPad from there and the cover quality was really good...

Actually, the dimensions aren't quite the same. The Note is a little bigger. According to AnandTech, the dimensions are
243.1 x 171.4 x 7.9mm (Note) vs.
210.8 x 135.6 x 7.95mm (Tab 3)

I agree! I really like the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. It is rechargeable and even has the Auto-wake/Auto-sleep functionality.

What I don't get it why they would come out with a case so late in that tablet's (Tab 3 10.1) lifecycle. Don't they know a new Galaxy tablet is coming out soon?
I've been scouring the net trying to find a case I like, but there aren't really any that I feel are worth the purchase. I need a nice case that can give me views in portrait and landscape. I think I'll just be getting a screen protector for now and hoping a nice case comes out soon.

I chose this one because I was something, anything, on it until a good case comes out. All the other ones are either being made later or ship directly from China (ebay).
At least the company I just ordered from ships out of norther California so that's good. The tablet will have to go a little over a week naked
