My phone has had this problem for a few months now. Every time I try to copy and paste something from anywhere or any app, it crashes the app or it doesn't work. It may seem like nothing but it's a huge pain in you know where. Is there anyone that knows how to fix this issue? It would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know if this would work. I've suggested it a number of times but no one ever told me for sure they even tried it.
My theory is something was corrupted when the system was loaded at the factory. This should mean that re flashing the firmware through Odin may fix it.
You can get the firmware and instructions here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1949687
You can download Odin here:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390135922294523684
You do not need to be rooted to flash with Odin. You will have the option of using the original, out of the box, system build, or you can use the updated firmware so that you will be up to date and won't require the OTA update (recommend this choice).
If you don't want to do this then my best suggestion is to backup your data, apps and internal sd. Then from settings menu do a Factory Reset. Though I doubt this will help if it is a probkem with the system side.
Hope this helps.

If you were rooted, it would have been a simple deletion of a folder. Since you are not, I guess you could try the method from poster 2...otherwise you'll just have to do a factory reset.

A number of people have had this problem and were not able to fix it by using any of the clear data/cache methods or by deleting the contents of or the entire /data/clipboard folder.
That and a lot of them said it had been a problem out of the box, which is why I began to suspect something was corrupted / not working right in the system itself. Rooted or not, at that point the best solution is probably to reflash the firmware.
Its easier than having to manually restore all of your apps and data after a reset imo!

Google Wallet Installer for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and US Cellular Samsung Galaxy S3.
Requires ROOT, an UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER, and BUSYBOX!(A deodexed ROM is just recommended)
My newest project, RemoteFlash, was just released! Take a look and give it a try!
Wallet Installer Is Now Available For Free To All Supported Carrier Models On XDA! (Donations Appreciated)
My application, "Wallet Installer", will install Google Wallet on almost any US based Samsung Galaxy S3. It simply edits your build.prop and then places the correct modifications into your system. It downloads all the files from my personal server, which is pretty quick. Just select the appropriate Rom type: AOSP, JB Touchwiz, or ICS TouchWiz, and then your carrier: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or US Cellular. I also added a restore option for your build.prop, so you can restore it after you setup Google Wallet. Hopefully this helps you out and makes the process easier!
Wallet Installer has been updated on the server side. The credit goes to Paul Obrien for the new version! To install it, simply reset Google Wallet, delete it, and then rerun Wallet Installer! Make sure to also have BusyBox installed/updated!
Please donate if my work helps you : )
V3: No Recovery/More Stable

This sounds great except for the recovery flash. Does the app offer to skip this step so we can keep whatever recovery we may already have installed?

Unfortunately, no. It has to use an open, unencrypted recovery to flash the files. I would allow use of CWM if it was unencrypted, but it's not. An option I am planning on adding in the future is the option to backup your current recovery and flash it after TWRP has been used.

It sounds like you had a bad download. Go under your /sdcard partition and look for files like: "Wallet.zip", "recovery.img", "Fix.zip" and delete them(they shouldn't be there if they flashed correctly). After deleting those files, try again. Make sure you have a good data connection. Preferably WiFi.

Also, make sure you have busybox installed.
That's what it was...needed busy box installer. Worked great. I had the apk and files for libs but that was much better. Thank You, and nice work.

Technically the open recovery isn't an issue, at least not development wise. I use it because there are different versions of CWM rolling around, and they aren't all capable of the same things. This way, with an open recovery flash, I greatly reduce the chance of bricking/other issues.

Thanks for putting this together.
After flashing this, can users return to the recovery of their choice, or are we locked in to TWRP 2?

You can go to whatever recovery you like! TWRP is only used for safety reasons during the flash.

It's not working for me. It reboots into recovery but doesn't do anything. Then the phone doesn't boot into the room and I have to re flash the rom
Edit: I to, did not have busybox installed. you may want to put a warning on the app
---------- Post added at 10:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:03 PM ----------
Also, if the build prop was edited to SPH-710 the Samsung voice program would still work
EXACTLY what I was looking for. I saw the entire post about getting it working, and just didn't feel that I was "qualified" enough to do what was required. I bought the app and figured I'd give it a try. It took a bit longer to download from the Play Store for some reason, but once it was done, it installed rather quickly.
I then ran the program, and selected as it was instructed. POOF it started installing, and then the phone rebooted into TWRP (I already use TWRP anyway), and all went well. I set up my account and that too went well. I tested it as I could and it works, then I decided to restore my build prop, after that again the phone rebooted, and then tested out wallet. It too works again.
Now then the only thing I am thinking about is automatic updates. I have to have that for another program for my work. I've seen the other post that you do not want the auto updates on. If on the next auto update it causes a problem I will report that here, but I think that just re running the program letting it do the build prop again, get it working, then restoring the build prop should be an easy fix for that.

Rom Updates
What happens after you install this get it working then flash a new version of a rom... Im currently using Tasks aokp jellybean rom. Do I need to do this everytime I update a rom or just do it once nad it's done, Also Task has 4.2 available does this matter once I update to his 4.2 releases

Every time you want to flash a new ROM, you have to reset google wallet. Then you can use my app again, after the new ROM flash, and you'll have wallet again. When it comes to 4.2 in specific I can't give you a straight answer, since I don't have access to a 4.2 ROM. My guess is that it will work fine, but it's never been tested.

If I just update a new version of a current Rom as I do weekly doing a dirty flash or not wiping just clearing dalvic cache etc, would I still need to re-install the app. Or only on a full wipe or a new Rom would I need to start from scratch? .
Another question if I re-install the app would I need to setup the payment every time and add new funds or cards or would all that information be available in the account

If you're dirty flashing, you should be fine leaving Wallet as is, but if you need to do a wipe, you should really reset Wallet. All of that information is saved on Google's servers, so it will be there next time

so I finally got the deodex rooted ma7 update for the Note II (sprint) and its STILL bugging me about a system update ??
what gives? I installed deodex ma7 and ma7 modem.
am I missing something?

Installing MC2 is one way, but since MC2 kills both Wallet and your battery, I don't think it's a super great option.
Found an app called System Update, but so far even uninstalling it does not prevent the notification.
blargh...
I've now backed up and un-installed System Update, Smart Device Manager, Sprint DM Service, Sprint Installer, SysScope, Sprint Zone, and still, the notification is there upon reboot.
Logcat Extreme shows some weird stuff at the moment. It's showing something called SystemUpdateService verifying that the update zip is downloaded into /cache, but then it's also showing an error that says SystemUpdateService application does not exist. So what's running then? Maybe a dalvik cached copy. I'm going to reboot into twrp and wipe cache and dalvik and we'll see...

The APK you're looking for is FWUpgrade.apk
-go to /cache
-delete update file
-go to system/app
-Rename FWUpgrade.apk to FWUpgrade.apk.bak
-Accept the update and attempt to run(it will end the count down and do nothing)
-reboot phone and it'll never ask you again to update

So far as we know so far that's correct.
Possible exception that I haven't tested myself or seen anyone else yet either:
The xposed framework hack and any normal market version of Wallet doesn't work so far.
But there is another way to get working Wallet which is to use a patched wallet apk that doesn't need xposed framework. I am currently using that patched wallet apk and no xposed framework. Maybe that version will work on mc2 or maybe not. I haven't seen anyone say about it yet. All I've seen is that the regular market version of wallet plus xposed framework which works on ma7 does not work on mc2.
Battery life dont really seem much different to I me. And I never use wallet much anyhow.

Well... es explorer says there are no files in /cache including not the filename that logcat clearly shows. Yes I have show hidden files in settings and yes I'm rooted.

...ok so after all this, with all these apks deleted and the cache empty etc, then I went to the notification and accepted the update one more time, it failed of course. And now finally I think that cleared it.
So it's not enough to accept the update and let it fail.
It's not enough to delete (or freeze or rename etc) one or more apk's.
You have to do both. Disable the apk(s). Wipe cache or delete files in /cache. THEN accept the update and let it fail.

Yay!
Now just to figure out which of those eleventy-seven apk's I removed was the only one that actually mattered....
Maybe one of them was named FWUpdate.apk as the other Brian mentioned, and I just never saw it's filename because I was seeing the package name in Titanium or System Tuner Pro instead and maybe already uninstalled it before he posted.

[Q] JMT 6 - Anyone able to get Mobile Print out of the "Goodybag" app to install?
Edit - Meant to say Mobile Print app out of the Goodybag.
First - Great ROM. I've used the last three versions, and so far, it's been a keeper. :good:
Second - I did the usual: Flashed new version over previous version. Tried to install the app, afterwards. When it didn't install, I performed a wipe using TWRP. When that didn't work, I did a fresh install (Complete wipe using Infamous followed by a TWRP wipe then followed by an install of JMT 6).
I haven't had any other issues with this ROM. I just saw this app in PTMR's goodybag, and it would be nice if I could use it.
Actually, there is one more thing: Anyone been able to get Smart Stay to work?
You should be able to extract the Apk from the prior rom's zip and then install it on the new version. If it's one that needs to be installed as a system app, you will need to use a root explorer app to set the permissions.

The app didn't exist in the prior version. The "Goodybag" is additional apps that can be loaded after the ROM installation. Granted, a few apps were included on previous ROM versions, but Mobile Print wasn't one of them.
I've already tried the side install method to make it a system app. Checked permissions, etc. App still won't install.

Oh well. I'll need to email PTMR3 about this. (Been trying to get past the 10 post minimum so I can post directly in the development threads. If it weren't for that, I could ask PTMR3 in his thread. lol.) Thanks for your input, anyway. It's appreciated.
Well, I found out that this app only works with Samsung printers and the app itself is available on the Play Store. Since I don't have a Samsung printer, I'm not going to concern myself with this, anymore.
How do we load the items in the goodybag? I downloaded 3 items and tried to load the from zip via CWM but it ended up getting my phone stuck in a boot loop. I ended up having to flash JMT all over again and start from scratch. Obviously I did something wrong. I've searched all over the forums and all I can find is something about using Aroma to install them, but the process looks confusing.

After that, when I was download the modded version from lucky patcher I was taking a lot if time as my network is slow. And after some time I saw a tutorial and I was doing it. In that tutorial he downloaded that Google play store modded version. But it didn't support my device. So I installed amother app called Google play store installer. But and will installing play store it restarted my device by saying that there was no space in the system Rom. I thought I didn't install. After the reboot was finished my play store was deleted. Flash your ROM again stock or custom ROM.

please help me with this. don't ignore it with its difficulty.
How to do that. I dont have a computer with me. I have rooted it with king root. I don't even have a custom ROM. So please help me.
Downloads:
download Odin 3.07 from here: https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j...34052249,d.amc
download the latest stock ROM from here and unzip it only once to yield a tar.md5 file:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-N7100/
For flashing, boot into download mode and and use Odin to flash the stock ROM in the PDA slot.
If the phone gets stuck when booting, power off, go into recovery, perform a factory wipe, and reboot.
WARNING: There is always a risk that something will go wrong during any flashing process. Proceed at your own risk.
I don't have a computer with me. So what should I do. Is there any way to do it
Have you tried a factory reset? Resetting will wipe all data, music, contacts from the phone.
Yes I have tried that too. But I lost all data but didn't get the play store back. I tried to install the play store by removing the patch It didn't in the play store. But It didn't work. What to do.
I tried a lot of ways to install it.
I think the easiest way would be to use Odin to flash a stock ROM.
There is no other way to do this. Are you sure.
If there is another solution, I don't know what it would be.
OK so will I get play store if I do this.
And I need a cwm recovery file which supports my file. Any version will go. But it should work.
Thanks for all the information you gave me through.
There are ways if you are rooted. Try to install TWRP somehow. Then everything will be easy.
You could try mobileOdin app. Never used it, but it might work for your situation.
