andude this is the same rom that we have in the devs section, its just the Tablet UI Mod that is available in the Themes and Apps forum made by Xylograph that is available for CM9 and AOPK Builds,also MIJJZ "slim n trim" build is based on that same rom, the launcher is the only thing that changes compared to the Galaxy nexus, give it a shot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1619300

Looks very cool I just don't know if I would want to have everything jammed into the screen like a tablet all of the time

It is the same thing as the tablet mode that we have in the themes and apps section. The OP for the rom is saying that its not just a build.prop edit because with the gnex you can change the DPI and something else in the build.prop, and it will default to tablet mode. In our case, I think the services.jar file is edited, to create the real tablet mode. I tell you what, get the OP's wallpapers, flash cm9 and the tablet mode, apply the wallpapers and tell me what you think......

Its pretty much the same thing... the only thing I see different in that ROM is the keyboard, doesnt look exploded.

A kernel built from source will resolve alot of the issues it has currently. It should help with battery life as well as overall experience running JB.

From what i've see in past leaks and things.. Having a source kernel to build from does correct alot of things. The one we've been using is one Sbirssen (Excuse the spelling) had built from scratch. So overall will be a huge improvement.

awesome.. realised in other thread was cracked lol. glad it at leadt had a kernel source! cant wait for improved jb roms! thanks to all involved.. im sure most devs awake are ripping it apart lol

Hey guys I was wondering if I release paranoidANDROID-1.6a (ICS version) would anyone actually use it or would it be a waste of my time? lol

Maybe that's why there's still so many issues in cm9/10 for our device? Dunno. I'd be happy to test whatever you have prepared though. I know myself and others really appreciate any work done for our device this late in its life. I've tried about every rom developed for this phone as of yet, and always ready to try another.

Hey guys, this is my second rom ever. I am posting this thread for flash-a-holics who want an early test. I am just giving you my (mostly stable) test builds, and will organize this OP later and add credits. With that said here is my TEST rom.

He has changed the launcher, added JB apps, and removed Sprint and LG apps. I have only removed LG apps, and kept everything else stock. I will have another build that does similar stuff that his rom does, but it will be a different launcher, and probably different apps (maybe inverted). I will also be talking with b-reezy about porting some of the themes he has talked to me about. I am also going to have the same stock version themed with JB and only a different launcher if it can be themed easier/easily. I will also combine all variations into one rom with Aroma where you can choose which ones. I will also be looking at the korean roms and such to see if there is anything we can use in my rom. I will also add a ton more once I get these done, including data speed tweaks and such.

I'm looking forward to your ROMs.
Aroma is a great resource so that you can infinitely modify the same ROM and have the users choose everything.

Haha. FYI any stock rom builds will be similar. It is a matter of mods, launchers, themes, and apps we add to it that make it different. I am working on adding aroma, and choosing AOSP vs. LG apps. Adrial and me are both talking about the future of our roms, and plans for other roms right now Also once we get CM10.1 working I am talking to somebody (seems like a yes it the current hardware works) about using his server to automatically make nightlies of CM and make them available for download. Also for general discussion of this rom check out the link in my OP, and post there please.

You're welcome. These are my old test builds, and I didn't think anybody besides were using them. I am using them to test out some new stuff for all my future ROMs, but not posting and more builds until I can get my hand on the JB update.

That's good. After my next build (just a hint) I'll be able to tell I my ROMs are still in use or not. Also I've been trying to find some good themes to port, but no luck. I might actually push out V5 though now.

Less is more. I would like to see a pure AOSP ROM. SuperNexus is available, but not terribly stable in it's current 4.3 version. So many AOKP, CM and PA based ROMs with a bajillion options and settings that I don't want or need. I just want a Nexusy experience for my LGOG. And now with all of the 4.4 apps coming available, a mocked up 4.4 ROM can be built.

Purity ROM, most definitely. I definitely agree with the post above, less is more. A lot a ROMs have a whole bunch of options and stuff, which is good, but its definitely overwhelming at times, since a lot of options don't ever get used, at least not for me. SuperNexus would be good, but 4.2 has the camera bug, and data/MMS is weird for 4.3. I also wouldn't mind an update to SNex either.

I looked today and the mako build has indeed moved on from rasbean to rastakat 4.4.

Baked bean - easy port?
I'd also like to mention that while my official vote was for "other" particularly rasbean/rastakat, the mako bakedbean rom will actually flash and install to my ls970 currently. It boots up however the keyboard doesn't work and no data(which I figured bc I didnt flash anything besides baked). Considering it already installs and boots on our device, it may be an easy port with some minor fixes. Just an FYI.

Alright. I am looking at the votes and based on what I see, I will tackle Purity ROM this weekend, and start on Rasbean/Raskat or whatever it is called.
My question; Would you all like them posted in this thread, or make another in development?
