Is there a mod (without flashing a new rom) that can give me more options when I press my power button..
Things like reboot into recovery?
I'm stock, rooted, and kt kernel but would like to keep my stock rom for now.
Thanks!

Those things require some changes to framework I think. You can install quick boot from the play store and get the same thing though.
Quick Boot does need root access though.
EDIT: Sorry, reread your post and you mentioned you were already rooted. I am rooted using Quick Boot on stock rom and it works great.
Thanks guys! Good enough for now! Wonder if I can program the power button to run quick boot on press?

I'm stuck on the Clockwork Mod recovery screen. Due to an issue detailed here, the gist of which was accidentally installing a kernel designed for the international Galaxy S2, I no longer can use my home and menu keys, and therefore cannot select anything on the Clockwork recovery screen (i.e. "power off"). Removing and replacing the battery just restarts the phone and takes me back to the Clockwork screen. Any help is appreciated!

If so just flash the stock kernel or rom.

yea that will work. i flashed an international version to and the recovery didnt work.
flashing stock thru odin worked fine.
I followed the instruction, and try to upgrade my Malice (2.6.x) ROM to ICS. But now stuck in reset loop...
This is the instruction they provided:
1. Boot to recovery (done)
2. Nandroid backup (done)
3. Wipe data/factory reset (done)
4. Flash the ROM.zip (done)
5. Reboot & once booted wait five minutes for the ROM to settle
(waited for more than 5 mins, the phone just boot to "InFamous bootup screen" and then reset in a loop..
Just wondering how I can boot back to CWM recovery mode or what should I do from this point on...
I tried the "hold volume up key + down key + power button" trying to get into recovery mode, but it doesn't work.
:crying:
Boot into recovery and load this ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1645985
Download the ROM from here:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/main/Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_10.1/Jamison904/SGS2/Infamous_2.7.1.zip
Thanks in advance
Are you doing combo right? Hold both volume keys + power, at first vibration release power key, continue to hold volumes until in recovery. Flash darkside cachewipe. Can be found in dev section in any of thederekjay's rom threads.

Sure!
But how do I flash it if I can't get into Recovery mode?
And which radio/modem to flash for this mod?
For now u have to get into the recovery mode ...
Take out the battery
Then hold The volume up and down, and the power buttons . Wait u feel the vibration let go of the power button. Few secs later u will see The recovery menu
Any Ics radio for t989 should be fine look for them under the development section
U have to flash the Ics radio if u r coming for the gingerbread ROM .
Flash the radio before the ROM

I don't think there's radio/modem.. but I found few kernels:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1372690
I don't think Kernel includes the radio/modem, right?
Its 2 different things ,
A kernel came with a ROM ...
And u need an Ics radio to install an Ics ROM

Thanks

Download the right radio for your carrier, and flash it before the ROM ..

My last phone was an Evo 4G that was flashed an insane amount of times. One of the nice things about being rooted was most roms had a restart menu that included the recovery and bootloader menu. Is there some reason why we can't do this for our e4gt? Press power button get two more choices asking to boot into recovery or download mode.

Depends on the ROM. some roms have it while some don't. you can always get a quick boot app and choose what you need to boot into.
Thanks. Just added that app now. Btw, there was a mod zip that you could flash to add that to any rom you like on the Evo.

Easiest would be to just flash mrRobinsons root66 fw. Its in development section.
Otherwise, in odin uncheck auto reboot and flash recovery. Then after flashing recovery unplug, hold power till it shuts off, tgen release and immediately press vol up + home + power (be quick). When you see blue text flash at top of the screen release buttons. Now in recovery flash superuser, reboot, and delete/rename these:
/system/recovery-from-boot.p
/system/etc/install-recovery.sh
Reinstall recovery using rom or goo manager.
Done!

You might have to do a factory reset in recovery mode. Thats normally the easiest way to get past softbricks.

- pull battery
- then hold home, volume up, and power and release when ever the blue text on top right flashes.
You flashed a TW kernel and not an AOSP one. That's why you got a bootloop
