Or is it not specific to internal storage at all?
I tried searching, could not find a clear answer on this.
yes the 32gb model is the same as the 16gb model. (except for amount of internal storage)
all roms for the i747 will work

I'm coming from a LG G2x and gonna be making the switch over to Sprint for this phone as i believe it is the best of the galaxy s2 variant. I'm guessing this won't be possible due to how these phones emmc nand are setup but gonna ask anyways...
Is there a way for users to re-partition the internal storage from 1.5gb to something bigger (like say 4-6gb) and leave the rest for internal emmmc storage, or even completely use the full 12gb available for app storage?
I already own a 16gb external sd card and gonna be upgrading to a class 6-10 32gb for this phone, so i wouldn't need any internal sdcard partitioned from what should be our user app storage. Especially with games coming out today that exceed 500+ mb of storage this would be extremely helpful.

I guess the only option i have is to be thankful of the 2gb internal storage it will come with and just use gparted to create an ext partition on external sdcard and then use link2sd.
I'm not sure if this is the proper forum, but I figured I'd use Q&A. For my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3, I'd like to use the external SD card as the internal card, so that I can use a 64gig SD card as internal storage. This is possible using mattiadj's ExtSd2InternalSd mod, located here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1772234. But the mod is only for the international variant of the S3. Does anyone know of a Mod or method that will work on the AT&T I747?
Thanks
hey all,
my friend is going to buy the i8150T model of the galaxy wave and according to GSMARENA it got only 1.6gb of storage space which i think is to low for normal every day for him.
meanwhile Samsung website list the device as 4gb storage,
which is it? 1.6gb internal storage or 4gb internal storage?

as i know 4 GB means is 1 GB for ROM + 1 GB for Internal Storage + 1.7 GB for Internal SD Card

1GB is system storage for apps, 1.7GB is USB storage for storage, which is also know as internel SD, and if not mistaken, the rest 1.3GB is used by system, ROM, etc
Please correct me if I am wrong
Hope it helps
I'm currently using a Galaxy Note 2. And I'm having issues with my microSD card. Just 2 questions:
1) Is it true that the latest Galaxy phones spoils microSD cards easily?
2) I had previously used mattiadj's memory swap mod to swap external memory to internal memory to put apps to sd. But unfortunately, my 32GB microSD card fried. Now that I've got a new one, when I installed the mod again, my storage details shows both internal and external as 32GB. And files from my phone memory can't be read at all.
Can anyone kindly help me more on the 2nd question? Really depressed to lose all photos and data and now can't figure out how to get that extra memory space. Many thanks!
1) Yes, Note 2 does have some issues with those SD cards, Even mine also got fried...
Hi everyone,
First time posting here as I have just rooted my HTC. Generally able to find everything i need with a search of the forum except one thing.....
I had 16gb of internal storage when the phone was stock. I installed CM12.1 and now the storage shows as about 10gb in total!! Has the last 6 been used by the system and isn't shown or has something went wrong?
Thanks

Are you saying you have the 16 GB version of the M8, or the 32GB version?
If you have the 16 GB version, there is no way you had all 16 GB as internal storage. Some storage of the 16GB is always taken by OS and other partitions (which take up a few GB), and 10 GB of user-accessible internal storage is about right.
