[Q] Compatible Battery

Hi everyone, i am facing some HUGE battery drains when i am over a 3G network.
I am currently using a Stock ROM 2.2 (JPS i guess),but as soon i turn the 3G on,my battery does not last 10 minutes.
I started looking over a battery replacement,and i´ve found all those :

I want to know if you guys can tell me which would be a better alternative for a compatible battery. Also,if you guys already experienced this battery drain and were able to fix it somehow.

buy from TOP-RATED sellers & see if the TITLE says it s for i5800 ..

1) Buy new battery
and / or
2a) Turn on and off mobile data manually
2b) Use OnScreenOff app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seroton.onscreenoff with auto time intervals
3) Use 2G only (in settings)
4) Try another rom

if u take option 4 try indroid v6 ( u find it a development page 6 ) best rom i ever tried (the developer stopt making this rom so deleted the kernel list the rom is stil their but u need to flash a kernel if u want to overclock it otherwise its just ur normal speed ) ( btw. sorry for the bad english xP )

After 1 year and an half some months ago i faced the same problem, so i bought a new battery on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=110861143398&view=all&tid=834148161001) but i still had a short battery life on 3G/2G and i thught the problem was the ruined battery (it arrived in terrible conditions with cracks etc...) so i bought this extended battery: http://www.ebay.it/itm/261029030204...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_1965wt_1029 . It didn't arrive yet but someone that bought it can tell me if it works better than the original one or not?

After almoste 2 and a half year of service my battery died in peace
so I begon the search for a new battery and found this battery pack on e-bay
I'm using these battery's for about 2 weeks now and I have to say I'm very satisfied
They last for about 3 day's (mobile data constantly connected, wifi for about 1 hour turned on and some pictures)
I definitely recommend this battery pack to al of you

satyamsit..Have you got your new battery? Actually I also need some advice..badly need a new one as it supports only 4-5 hours with light usage (currently using stock battery though...2 years old..)...

[Q] Battery Issue into Crash (probably) ?!

Hey guys
I've been using custom roms for while,when i suddenly realize i have some Crash -
Issues with my
Samsung Galaxy W 4.1.2
Currently Using the Parandroid 2.99
with a 2.6.35.14 CM Kernel by camcory
It simply crashes after a while using it,when i reboot it it shows that my battery has maybe 30 percent or less left.
Waiting 2 minutes my battery shows 67 % for example when i try to use i then it crashes again... or even freeze... *sigh
however i tried flashing a new rom ; wiping the davlik cache ; and wipe battery reset , it still doesnt help...
Does anyone have an Idea where the problem is or better how to fix it??
P.S sry when this thread is posted wrong ,im new here rly couldnt find a topic which suit for this

i think u need new battery

A good suggestion is you going pristine, unless your battery is fat, then change your battery.
My phone usually have these problem too, its 96%, I flash something new, wipe stuff, goes into launcher its 14%.
But mine doesn't crash.
Does this happen to other ROM?

im not sure if my battery is fat or not , well i have to admit it doesnt look that perfect anymore , cuz its slightly "blown up"

Does this have any dangers for me or the hardware of my galaxy?
yeah i flashed around 3-5 roms already... same issues with all , and it always crashes when i the ram usage is increasing , but as long as i kept my galaxy charging nothing happens at all...

Yes, that's a "pregnant"/"fat" battery. Check if you can spin the battery easily on the tabletop.
A good battery is not just flat, it even has a small 'concave' surface.
When your battery can spin easily on top of a flat surface, it's time to buy a new one.

Usually a Lithium battery lasts only around a year, mine is only close to that and its slightly fat too.
Not compulsory, OEM is just as good as long as it doesn't look like its from China LOL(as a chinese I do not feel proud, but oh heck I'm not from China)

Original is good, but the capacity is kind of small...
There's a thread in the Accessories subforum discussing a high-capacity 2900 mAh battery. Try take a peek there.

any apps for calculating battery performance

My grand is 14 month old..n now I use cm11 latest build..my battery backup is reduced badly dischared after 4-5 hour normal use..is this battery problem r rom..I changed clockspeed to 1.2 but still same problem..plzz help me

Have u charged fully after installing CM11 and checked?? If S what is u r usage is it in normal or heavy usage??

I m using that rom since it first dual sim version. N I charge my phone fully after complete discharg.

Then its battery problem coz I get around 19hours with normal usage with occasional internet usage....So its no the ROM problem...Its Battery problem..

The same happens with me and its the battery problem only. I will get some 6 hours on CM if used heavily with full time internet and screen on. In stock i may get 3 or 4 hours if used normally. The battery is pathetic and never got a backup up to 24 hours from day 1 and using very less apps.

Been using grand for about 6 days..
I get battery backup of about 20hrs with 5+hrs of screen on time.. I guess this is okay..
App for battery performace is battery stats plus

U can use ur cpu at 800mhz for better battery performance..

Samsung galaxy S4 mini battery drain!

Hi everybody...I have this phone and I have a problem.When I charge the phone up to 100% battery and then take it from the charger,battery drops to 99 or less without phone usage...And when I go to sleep and then wake up,the phone lost about 10-15 percent...Can somebody plesase help me?

Check what's keeping your phone awake during idle, "wakelock detector" and "better battery stats". Though you need root for these. You've nor given us any details of what your phone is and what ROM?? Try searching for threads on how to calibrate your phone battery.

Ohh sorry...My phone is S4 mini GT-I9195 LTE....I have stock android 4.4.2 kitkat...I have already calibrated battery and bought new battery...But same problem...

Not always the case... Depends when and where your phone was made. Could be a faulty kernel or motherboard but it also could be an app or a setting on your phone or an unclean install. Have you always suffered this issue?

I got phone about 3 weeks ago...and the battery was very bad so i bought new one.I also tried CM 12.1 but the phone is heating in unnormal way but the battery there is better...

You have problems with motherboard. Go to service center to replace it on waranty.

Bad luck then. Normal consumption for our device is 0.2 - 0.3 % per hour in stand by.

Your best bet seeing as unless you pay for a new motherboard is to try one of the battery drain fix kernels on here. Though I think you may be limited to certain compatible ROMs.

Why are you not staying on cm 12.1? For me it's amazing, i observed at least 100% more battery efficiency than stock (4.2.2). I also observed the same problem with high temp too. But i think we can't have it all. When i play games and the outside temperature is about 35 celsius, i do not expect anything less, because this mobile is not designed for this android version. I think that's reasonable and i finally can use my mobile with a joyful way without having my mind always on the battery stats!

Q : i Got Confused ! .

i have a small question to whom ever tried custom roms for Mi Max hydrogen,
i have my brother phone and he need a new tested rom except ( MIUI ) , i already looked for him here but its a bit confusing ,
to many uncompleted & unstable roms here which need enhancement and some still need fixing ,, any one can give me a single rom that is 100% tested Stable and have no sound quality issues ? and the most important is fast-charging and in-Call volume Quality ! .

Yes you can try linage os ROM which gives more performance than any other ROM but not more customization and but from my side I specially recommend you to take aosp extended ROM everything works excellent except casting and you can trigger fast charging in kernal audiutor but it can make your battery hotter .

hi there i have problem regarding charging this mimax, after update to latest 10.2.1.0 (NBCMIXM) firmware, my mimax become slow charging (ampere reading 120-360mah) and will cut off if battery percentage more than 80%. already replace charger, cable, clean format but none work. please advice. thanks

how old is you'r phone , i replaced my brother battery last month , was doing the same ! , if you need my advice i advice to not use fast charger ,, i know max support it but still the built in battery die faster with time ! .. just saying

thx for reply, it's time for me to visit mi service center, btw mine is 2 years old, and battery still can hold charge, i lucky to get it charge once last two days ago and still got 30% power left with 2 hours plus sot.
