[ROM] [4.1.1] OFFICIAL codefireX Jellybean Nightlies - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

These are official codefireX JellyBean Nightlies brought to you by Synergy(e) and TeamCodefire. These use official CM device repos and are built from source nightly. THIS MEANS IT HAS ANY BUGS THE CM10 NIGHTLIES HAVE.
codefireX is a CM10 spinoff with the goal of providing additional power-user features (contained in the codefireX settings panel) while still maintaining full upstream CM compatibility for automated CM merges daily for the nightlies. This means the nightlies are fully up to date with the CM10 nightlies, however you get additional features as well! The codefireX settings panel will become more populated with features as this project progresses, and more device nightlies will also be added.
The codefireX github is HERE. Changelogs are not available, however you may use github (always current). The maintainer for this will not respond to questions on this thread, so please help your fellow android user out or visit twitter/IRC

Hold back to kill timer,

I was having the same problem yesterday. Coming from one of caspers builds. I had to flash a different Rom, let it boot then flash what I was trying to flash. Might be easier than that but it worked for me

I will have to agree with Mikeyinid, this ROM has the best of both worlds and it is a hell of a lot zippier than most that I have tried.

Have a bug to report?
Now track the status of your issue on -
http://bugtracker.liquidsmooth.net
--
Quick Tips:
◘ Make sure you do a Full Wipe and then flash the ROM.
◘ DO NOT restore data via Titanium Backup. More often than not it will cause stupid issues.
◘ If you have done all that, and still face issues please post a logcat. (Search on how to do that)
◘ For battery related issues, please post a relevant screenshot from an app like Better Battery Stats etc.

No logcat or no screenshot effectively means your issue doesn't exist

Lol, why would you expect someone to do that? For the illiterate, it clearly states that it comes packaged with the 10/28 KT747 kernel. Also, ktoonsez has a kernel that works for EVERY* ROM for this phone.

[ROM] Team SyEnce KING KANG AIO ROM UNOFFICIAL. Toro

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.
This is a merge of AOKP, CM10, and Paranoid Android done by DAGr8. Thanks to him
This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. If kittens start to raid your house in mass, then I am not responsible (also, take a picture and post it on Reddit for archival purposes)
Thanks to:
- DAGr8
- Team KANG
- Team Douche
- Rohan32
- Paranoid Android Team

Flash normal jb gapps of your choice. These are recommended: http://d-h.st/1C0 4.2 gapps by KillDroidHack.
Please report any bugs to this thread, and I'll see if I can fix them, I threw this together for fun, and didn't do that much testing.
I also became really lazy and kanged Team KANG's boot animation.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Due to the request of the Paranoid Android team, I have removed ParanoidPreferences.apk.
To use it, download this CWM flashable zip. Thanks to chickentuna for putting it together, slightly modified from the original: http://d-h.st/DLR
Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is not a feature that is available right now, only for phone calls. You will have to wait until AOKP merges it in, and PACman is updated.
EDIT: Also for SMS
I have two questions. Will this be updated regularly? And is there a changelog or anything?

No changelog, because I can't find one. I'll try to do nightlies. I'm syncing right now.
Also, keep in mind that I only have ~85 Mbps internet and a 3570K, so it might take a while to compile for all devices (I'm going to start supporting maguro and toroplus), but toro will always come first.

Well go down the line, the dependencies take a long time because the script checks to see if each one is installed. Then you go to 2 then 3.

Kewl, always good to see another mod for the phone I am using and I am sure the rest of the LGOG faithful appreciate it.
How's the Camera focus and the Wifi stability??
Thanks,
Ran this ROM for about a week WiFi is good for me, focus is not, but I'm not sure I like this rom, its too similar to DU and Root box so I'm dropping this. Sorry.

I hear ya. Try porting rasbeanjelly. It's strait aosp with a few key mods cherry picked from aokp/cm. It was so smooth on other phones.... I wish someone would pick it up.... Sometimes less is more

I looked this up and what I seen on the Nexus 4 with the trinity kernel has got to be sick, I would like to see this ava. for the LGOG..
Thanks,
I will look into the suggested roms and redo this thread once I get something cool up and running
Edit: I found RasbeanJelly sources so I'll check that out but I can't find hellybean sources if anyone know if they where their source code is I would be glad to check it out.

GREAT!!! I'd love to run Rasbeanjelly on this phone! And the developer @rascarlo does a great job of keeping it updated
If you do build it I have a cool little boot animation I made for it.

I couldn't find the sources for HBean either But that's fine though! It was really just an alternate version of CM10.1 anyways (IMHO though, it ran 500% better than CM on my Epic 4G )
One other request I could make, and I'm not even sure about this myself.... What about ProvisionMod ROM? I only think that went up to 4.1.2, but damn if that ROM wasn't solid

Thank you all for your suggestions, I think I'm going with RasbeanJelly, I've read that its light and minimal and that has sparked my interest, have it synced up and ready to build, if all goes well will have a build posted in the next couple days

Simple, sweet, and to the point. I thought I would bring you guys some AOKP nightlies for our Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 since we are not an officially supported device.
Now that I've modified the trees to build for our device, I will work on getting official support and becoming our maintainer next.
ENJOY!!

Seriously CNexus, you f'n rock so damn hard right now!

You ninja quoted, I had edited my post already lol.
And if you guys want a pure AOKP rom with no changes, I can do that easily. Already have everything synced to my build server, just need to lunch for d2att and done
I'll get on that as soon as I finish building an updated 4.2.2 AOKP for the d2spr

@CNexus so far so good bud. Only issue I have found is lean kernel and dkp destroy the boot ani and the display like the blues are yellow and the background is a glitchy mess. I'm assuming they need to be updated since they're about a week or so old but giving you the heads up.
