[Q] Fastest and Most Reliable Rom? - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know this question is asked a lot, but roms seem to be updated a lot and I would like a fresh answer if possible.
So what is the best rom out there. By best, I mean the most stable and fastest. I've gone through two ICS roms so far that have been very buggy and laggy. I just want an atleast decent looking rom that wont freeze up on me. I am mostly looking for speed.
Yes, I have looked quite a bit and I get really confused, hence the question. Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advanced.

These threads are frowned upon. It will get closed shortly.

This will be closed soon, but just to help, the smoothest and most reliable to me is either stock (of course) or the cyanogenmod 7.20 release. Its stable and everything I use works on it.
Devices:
Evo 4g: Cm7 or Jellybean
Evo Shift: cm7 or jellybean
Optimus S: AOSP (ICS)
Questions? I'd love to help!

Countdown til the thread police arrive.....

Surprised I am. Still open thread is still open..

Thread closed...and anymore disrespecting the moderation team by certain members and a vacation will be issued.
These threads only create issues between devs and start flaming problems as well

Port request sensation 2.0

Hi all I'm piggy backing off the original post in themes seeing if we get more action in here
"Really excited that everything is moving so quickly and can't wait to get my flashing fix in. I saw this ROM in the international SGS2 section and since i dont know anything about developing I'm kindly making a request for one of you awesome Devs to port this. "
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1194765
Looks like a cool ROM
I have a feeling you are about to get flamed for not putting this in the Q&A
I don't have a problem with it being in here because I would love to see on the E4GT, but a lot of peeps won't.
Good luck!
would love to see this rom on our et4g

Read the rules, if you didn't make it, it dosent belong in development. Nobody wants to sift through random threads to find the roms, mods and kernels.
Best course of action would be to try and contact the devs and ask if they would be interested.
The original poster did and he said all he needs is a dev from our side and he'll help us port it to our phones s

I don't think there has been a ROM ported yet... Would be nice to see it on my phone, closest you're going to get to that is if someone port it as a theme.

Best rom for gsm Nexus

Hi, which is the best rom for the GSM Galaxy Nexus in terms of stability and performance?
There is no one best ROM. Everyone uses their devices differently & wants different features. Check out the development section & try some to find the one that suits you.

It really depends on what you want.
Speed, better battery, features, and customizing.
Like stated before look at the room threads, see what it offers, see what problems people are having with it. And make your own decision

Really? they said it was for htc evo 4g lte.Is it different from my htc evo 4 g sprint? Is that so' could you recommend jb rom with
camera capable for my device?
The evo 4g lte is a different phone. As far as a good jellybean rom goes u should try them all and see which u like. I personally prefer team dirts code name android. But there are several out just as good.

Roms anyone???

Does anyone know any really good roms for the Galaxy Nexus. I'm tired of the original one so I want to put on a new ROM my phone is getting real boring

The Development section is like your shopping isle. It's unfair if you don't give other developers a chance based on what someone else says.

just....wow
To the OP...I know you're new here so I will cut you some slack. If we havent scared you off already, just know for future reference that your question gets asked constantly here. And every single time, we tell them "just try them out and see for yourself". All the ROMs are good and you will get multiple answers from people because of that. And in the end, your question wont even be answered. So just start flashing and have fun modifying your phone.
10 bucks says the OP is back in the Q&A forum saying they can't get past the Google boot logo sometime today... :highfive:
I'm new to xda not to hacking, moding, flashing and tech in general.

Sir, being new....I would say, do some....no do a lot a reading thru the Development Section. And in the Q&A section to see what is being posted and then you make a run for yourself to start flashing...
Thanks.

Wasn't saying I'm going to upgrade or was I talking ****. Just saying this thread has slowed way down. People must have upgraded. I appreciate all the hard work the devs have done. So you sir can.......

i think the development threads are still busy, just hasn't been many updates in the past week. seems like there are some data issues with the latest CM nightly's, which i think might be keeping roms based on that from being updated for the time being... just my 2 cents.
Might be because most of the bus are worked out and everything is working good... I know there hasn't been much activity in my thread but there are over 450 downloads.
