I rooted my phone succesfully and I've got the Superuser app, but when I try to use the lucky patcher or Titanium backup, it says: "No root acces found!"

i think you have to install busybox (find it in playstore) for this.

Do I need to unlock the boot loader first? Because this didnt work for me.
Edit: 5th time rebooted, tried again, it worked!
failed on my lt26i
It works on all Lt26.
Be sure you have all drivers instaled properly and you are connected DIRECTLY to your pc, no usb-hubs etc.

a small problem, i rooted the phone, everything goes perfectly fine until the script hangs after push su and superuser.apk to the phone. Phone runs very very slow. I have to stop the script manually then reset the phone. root was installed but i couldn't see Data dir with Root Explorer...

I rooted my phone using the initial method (I couldn't wait) and flashed CM9. My bootloader is unlocked and I have been running it for about a week. The mobile network is always alternating between airplane mode so I have no service at any time. I fixed it before but I can't remember how. I backed up my system at two different points (while the problem was fixed and I had service). But when I restored them, I face the same problem with the network. Any help?

Help me help me please, I'm so stupid , I have an AT&T S3 unlocked and I'm currently using Tmobile...
I rooted my phone, and I used DEBLOATER FREE, to debloat some of the stuffs in the list. I was actually being careful with the selection. Anyway, I deleted some files, and when I restarted the phone. I'm no longer getting signal. Can someone please help me. I need to get it fix soon. Any helps and advices at this point would be greatly appreciated. Please by the way, i tried to go to setting ->More setting->Mobile Networks, and it freezzed and received a message "unfortunately, settings has stopped"
I used mskip's tool to rooted my phone, if i used that tool to relfash my stock recovery, would this solve the issue?
or I'm on ICS 4.0.4 right now, If i Update the phone to JB would this solve the issue.
Let me add one more thing that, I rooted this phone a long time ago, today i was being stupid and debloat stuffs assuming it won't affect my phone much

just reflash stock rom via odin using this tutorial here ----> you will lose all data so find a way to back it up to your computer.

First of, thanks you so much. I don't think you attach a link for me yet. A quick update, I checked my imei, and it said null/null. so if i used mskip tool to do a efs partition would that solve the issue?
I'm downloading the ics stock rom right now, and I will keep you update. I will probably do it, via mskip's tool. What I'm wondering is, if i used samsung kies and update to JB, would this solve the issue also?
the phone is working fine, it's just i can't make call

I did more research and I think I narrow it down to EFS, mb i deleted my efs folder while debloated my phone, or some random reason...do you know any possible fix? because I didn't back it up. if I'm to re flash stock rom, do you think it will fix this issue?

so i re-flashed the stock rom using mskip tool, and now i can make call, but now i'm getting a bunch of messages like process android.process.acore has stopped, and touchwiz home error and i can't get pass that. Please Advise
[SOLVED] thank you so much, got everything back to normal. one more questions, since i re-flashed the stock rom, I can still access CWM recovery, but as i tried to install superuser, it said I can't...this is my first time so can you lead me to the right path?
Just re root your device using the same method.

I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676686 to root the phone, then after unlocking did a reset in recovery, did a full backup, and installed http://d-h.st/Wsy (cm9) as well as gapps ( http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip). After reboot everything runs great, but I have a wifi issue. When I swipe, it just says turning on wifi and hangs. Nothing ever happens. I checked advanced options, and the MAC address and IP address are "unavailable". It's under Virgin Mobile, currently I have no service active, so I use it as a media player. Can a brother get some help over here? Thank you kindly.

You might try some other rom... There are plenty, newer, so why to stick with quite old cm9

I used the Toolkit that I posted, and the Kernal flashing option is referred to as "optional". Like I said I am a noob lol. Any ideas?

I have read and fallow many guides,non one is helping to solve mystery. I'm on 20d software, I can root, but no way to install recovery, tried loki, downgrade, etc. after all done tablet is stuck on error with to lines msg. what I'm doing wrong?? I even try root in 2 ways, always checking after for root access, no problem with that. but can go forward after that, any ideas??

Hi everyone ,
i have the problem that i cannot root my S4 Mini (GT-I9195) with CyanogenMod 13.0 (=Marshmallow) no matter what i do....
All the instructions i've found are the same as the one on this board but you can already see it saying that the Rootkit "S4Mini_RootKit_v2.zip" only works with Stock Rom. I've tried v2 and v1 nevertheless (just to check) but it doesn't work.
I also went into developer mode and enabled root acces for ADB and Apps but that doesn't help.
So in short: Does anyone know how to get root on an S4 Mini with CM13 ???
I would really appreciate some help thank you!!

Edit: Oh and i had it rooted once before, just forgot how i managed that (knox is already triggered)
if you have cm13, then you have already root only deactivated. go to deleloper settings and activate it

Thanks for your answer. But as stated, i have already done that. Still no root acces (says SuperSu and RootChecker).
I'll try to re-flash the newest CM13 rom, lets see if that helps.
I did a factory reset and since than it was lost. I didn't think that would make root go away but apparently...
EDIT: I made a new factory reset and re-flashed the newest CM13. So now it works, problem solved.
It's weird that a normal factory resett erases root .... anyways all good now

So i'm running this rom right and I was reinstalling my apps onto my phone and one app I need to log into but it noticed it was running root (Snapchat). So I followed someones advice on here on XDA to fully unroot the device and I did that I fully unrooted the app from the phone and then here comes the worst part that I realized this will kick me out of recovery and i wont be able to get back in because I need to get on to recovery to re install superSU back on. So im stranded on nougat 7.1 and dont have access to root at all except for root access on developer settings but that doesn't nothing at all I re installed the app on play store but its telling me the phone is unrooted of course.
Anyone can help me out here. It would be greatly appreciated .
P.S I did get snapchat working after that method kinda did work/backfire at the same time.
Do you have nandroid backup? If yes, flash that. It will be all well.
Other hard method is to downgrade to KitKat and then root and then TWRP. ?
I do not have a back up for this ROM but I have other back ups on my phone that still works. I can't do it as well cause I neeed root to l get it to work.

Backups don't need root. They need TWRP to be flashed.

Yeah thats the only thing I can't get access to TWRP. When I fully unrooted It would not let me in my recovery at all just bootloops until i take the battery out then it reboots to the system fine.
Just going to ask a hopefully obvious question that I know doesn't help but I'm intrigued... Why didn't you just unroot using the supersu app?

I did do that....now my main problem is I don't have root anymore and I can't get access to my recovery and plus I'm running an Nougat rom so I need to find a way to re-root my phone again to get it all back.
The supersu app doesn't delete the recovery on your phone so something had to have gone wrong. Either way the best bet for you I would imagine anyway would be to follow a guide to install recovery - it's been that long since I had to do it I can't be of much help but I'm willing to look into the easiest options for you if you want. There will be a way, pretty much guaranteed

I know that my recovery is still there but It wont allow me on there for some reason. But im thinking that If I factory reset the phone it would PROBABLY fix the problem but theres one risk that it could probably happen and im guessing that it will go straight into a bootloop. If you want to help me It would be great

Did you modify your ro.product.model in build.prop file and when supersu app asks if you want to flash stock recovery you pressed yes?
For example if you have enabled google assistant by changing your ro.product.model to pixel or pixel xl and after that unrooted and pressed yes to restore stock recovery (to get OTA to work), supersu flashes pixel recovery and thats why you can't get to recovey again.
There are ways to get your phone back to factory clean and start over.
Okay I have spent a whole day figuring out this problem but i finally managed to fix it.
So I went onto download mode
opened up LG Flash Tool 2014
Flashed an LG KDZ File managed to work after the 2nd time
10 or 15 mins later it finally worked
LG started to boot up and started loading in the apps
THEN
I rooted the phone again using this forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/root-twrp-marshmallow-d855-30b-t3286268
Then I finally got back onto the glorious TWRP rom.
I re-installed the ASOP rom again.
I'd Like to thank Juhkimo, Jahanzaibawan and pffcouk for helping me out. You guys got my phone back to what it was before so thanks a ton
