Hey guys can you tell me if I am running the latest stuff to run Myns Rls5? I installed and flashed it but when it finishes and I can unlock my Evo it goes to the HTC white screen and stays there... any suggestions? Here is a screen shot of what I am currently running.
I did this last night. Easiest way is this:
Flash this:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/9a1ju....00.11.19_WiMAX_27167_R01_PRI_NV_1.90_003.zip
^^That will update your Radio, WiMax, PRI, and NV all at the same time. After you flash it, it will ask you to reboot. Let it reboot. When it comes back up you will see a phone graphic on a gray/black background. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR PHONE. It is flashing the radio. Your phone will reboot into recovery once it's done. When you're back in recovery, Flash Myn's ROM. Then you should be good to go from there.
I forgot to add. Wipe EVERYTHING before flashing the ROM.
Well you are up to date on the firmware side. But how are you installing this(amo-ra or CWM) ?

I dont know why people use clockwork when so many have trouble with it. amo-ra is just as easy to use.
I am installing through ROM manager. is this the wrong way ? And should I install the radios from the link in my first reapond? By the way you guys are faster than anything!! Thanks for the quick responds!

Sorry this might be a stupid question but. What's amo-ra? I only use rom manager and never heard of anything else besides that .

ROM Manager is just bloatware. Download Quickboot from the market. I use that to quickly get into recovery or bootloader.
Yes, use the link i provided. It will flash all the firmware upgrades you need (radio, pri, nv, wimax).

Go to the bottom of ROM Manager. What do you see listed as your Recovery?
By you using rom manager, you are using CWM, don't use it; just download it to your sd card and install it like that, but make sure to use Amo-ra.
I hate when people don't provide references from where they got the links so here is the thread for the firmware upgrade i provided. You can download from here (the combo) to make sure it's safe.

A little off topic, but was wondering if someone could quick answer my question. I have been using this ROM for a couple of weeks, and also using Riptides theme, I tried using my hdmi yesterday and it didn't work. Just wondering if it is disabled with this Rom? Appreciate if someone could answer this with out having to look for or start a new post. Thanks

Some people have been having problems. My suggestion would be to make a nandroid backup, flash the ROM without any mods and test whatever you want to test. If it works without any mods, then you know that your mods are causing the problem. I personally have never used the hdmi out so i can't test this myself.
Ok heres what I do to get MMS working on my Wifes Incredible
$45 plan!!
Make sure to make a backup before trying this just in case you cant get it to work you will have a fall back.
Download CricketV10 Edify and place it on the root of your SDCARD.
Download APN Backup & Restore from the market and backup your current APN's before you flash.
Flash any ROM you want and before leaving CWM flash the CricketV10 you downloaded earlier.
Once booted up into the new ROM download Autostart root from the Market (Wifi)
Download APN Backup & Restore from the Market (Wifi)
Download APN Manager (Wifi)
Now open up Apn Backup & Restore and delete current APN's and then click Restore Apn's and choose the ones you backed up earlier.
Reboot your phone and grant Autostart root superuser permission.
Open up APN Manger and click APN list and then choose CDMA-MMS.
If you dont have good apn's download the attached and replace the X's with your 10-digit number. (Rename from 45Plan.xml.txt to 45Plan.xml)
Now you should have working WEB and MMS.
I got it working on the Gingerbread leak and Skyraider 4.2! I tried MIUI but I couldn't get MMS to work with that one, got everything else though.
This will help me out a lot! Thanks so much!

I have tried a few ROM's in the past and a few recently, but I like the stock ROM's the best. They are always the most stable and everything works just fine usually.
There have been some ROM's here and there that I really liked but I always found a fatal flaw that I just couldn't deal with. I'm really looking forward to that official Gingerbread to get here!

There were a couple ROM's that I had to boot up first, go back into recovery and then install the edify script or else it would loop.
Other than MikRunny's 3.5 ROM I can't get my phone to stop rebooting immediately after booting up. I was running sense 4a and after I turned my phone off once to reboot it, that was the last time. I have a back up of sense 4a so if I can fix this random reboot I can get back to where I left off. So can someone please help me?

Judging by a couple other posts I've seen by you, you're coming down from the latest VZW RUU that just recently got a proper way to s-off.
If this is the case it's a known issue with the 'downgrade' that sense roms give random reboots at the lockscreen. There are several threads both here and at rootzwiki talking about the issue.
Using a non-sense rom seems to be the only way on these phones at the moment. Perhaps in the future someone will figure it out but since it's an older phone they may not put in the effort.

But MikRunny's ROM is Sense? So how is that possible? And I've ran sense 4a but after I turn my phone off once, with either sense 4a or mikrunny, it reboots immediately at lockscreen. Someone told me to let it keep rebooting and eventually it start working in minutes, but I've let it sit and reboot like 20min and it still didn't work.
another ROM
I suggest trying Inc 2 HD... it's awesome.
But for your current problem, I guess you know to just hold the down volume key when you reboot into recovery?
It could very well be an issues because you have the latest firmware 6.****. All the current sense rom's are for 5.***. I'm just guessing, but maybe try flashing aero's cm9 and see if you get the same reboot. However you will need to flash the most current version of CWM. What version do you have?

Yes mikrunny is sense. As I said, sense roms are having issues with the new firmware.
You'll have to boot into recovery and flash a non sense rom (CM7, CM9, AOKP...).
I would first start by flashing the stock latest RUU..
Looks like a possibe fix

How do I verify it? And can I download it with my phone, use root explorer to rename and move to root of as, boot into bootloader and then flash it? And will this surely fix the prollem?

Jayydude there is a lot of warnings about your version of software and downgrading right now. However to answer your question on verifying the MD5 sum if you go to the zip file in root explorer and then longpress the zip file choose properties and it will calculate your MD5 sums. Then verify they are the same as what the download posted. If not download again. The MD5 sums will be on the very bottom. It will calculate it for you. I also have a program on my computer at home that will verify it for you but I am at work now so dont remember what it is called. But root explorer will work fine I use it all the time to verify. Also I am sure you have seen it but make sure not to flash the RUU from China you will loose data and not be able to get it back.

im stock rooted on lg8. I am looking to update to LI3 and i have found several ways to that. However i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a way I can update without affecting "google now for ICS". I saw an "all-in-one" download of baseband/radios etc...but the thread said something like "if i have and altered .apk's that it wouldn't work". In short i'm looking to be stock rooted on li3 without losing google now. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Boot into cwm or twrp and make a backup of your current Rom, then wipe only cache/dalvik cache and flash the Ll3 on top of your current Rom....if it works great if not reload your backup and hope someone has a better suggestion

TMOBILE USERS WHO HAVE SOFT BRICKED BY FLASHING THE N7100 BOOT IMAGE CAN DOWNLOAD *THIS* FILE WHICH WAS POSTED BY SLIMC84 AND FLASH IT VIA ODIN WHICH SHOULD FIX YOUR BOOT PARTITION. yup, basically copy the extracted folder to your sdcards:\clockworkmod\backups\
then in CWM, restore each from the folder.
i'm testing right now to be sure it works. the backups are super tiny so i'm worried there's a bug in CWM or it uses crazy awesome compression.

Addis did you try that stock rom that's floating around for t-mobile it's about 1.2 gb in 3 chunks
Basically i f'd up the phone after rooting.

EVERYTHING works except the modem.
So i've already flashed with a stock rom with no modem.
