I've been having issues where people would sometimes not receive my texts, or that they would receive it only after an unusually long delay. Someone also tried to send me a long text today, but I only got the tail end of it. It doesn't happen often, I've had a few long text sessions without problems, but then again it's hard to keep track off.
A weird thing that happened to me today too was that a particular text from yesterday got resent today right after I rebooted my One V, and What makes it even weirder was that the old text disappeared from the where it was yesterday to when it got sent out today...
I only had it for a couple of days before I rooted it so I don't know if it's because of the fact that I rooted it, though I started to notice it the same day I rooted the phone...
What can I do?
Could it be the JmzOneV4 ROM, does changing the kernel and overclocking affect this as well?

I think you should try your SIM in other phone and check your problem might be issue with your Carrier.
Regarding the Auto Sending of SMS, I was facing that problem sometime ago and have been trying to find why it was so.
A factory reset will solve that problem.
I noticed that there were some GO Launcher themes that caused that problem to occur. (although I m yet
Also, u can use an antivirus. F-Secure recognized that virus and removed it.
I still dont know which app caused that problem though.

I have had to send my Leo back for repair due to white patches developing on the screen. As I had given my last device (an iPhone) to the missus, I have gone back to using my O2 Orbit until my HD2 is returned but I have just remembered why I stopped using it.
I have this really annoying issue where, after a random amount of time (could be hours, could be days), it simply won't accept incoming calls or texts, despite it seeming to have a full network signal. Outgoing calls work as normal but if you call the phone, it goes straight to voicemail and if you send a text message, it won't be received. However, as soon as I perform a soft reset the phone goes back to normal and any texts which were sent while it wasn't working get arrive. Then it eventually happens again. It doesn't seem to be a rom issue as I have had this problem with at least 5 cooked roms and the original O2 one.
Anyone have the same issue or is it, as I suspect, simply a case of the phone being shagged? I would love to get this resolved as at the moment I'm having to call it once an hour to make sure it rings which is a bit annoying.
im having the same issue but a small difference, i get this prob so frequently around 5~8 times a day...........
im jus suspicious on the battery.......
could u jus look at ur battery voltage when 100% charged and reply plz????
ive jus asked this same issue here

I've had some problems with my phone recently as it keeps rebooting itself (sometimes when charging and the battery gets hot.. sometimes randomly). When this happened a few months ago it got to a point where almost everything stopped working.. I did a factory reset but no joy so I took it to a phone shop and the guy said he flashed it and everything seemed to work again for another couple weeks then the rebooting started again but less frequently. Its now become a daily thing and today everything has stopped working again.. my call list.. text & emails won't update if a new message comes in I can't see anything in the list. I keep getting a popup telling me that Open Sense Plugin Manager has unexpectedly stopped along a couple of other error messages. I can't install anything either.
Any suggestions on how to solve this? I'm getting more than streesed by this!
Is it still rebooting? You could use an RUU and it might solve the issue but it might not. A bit of hit and miss if you ask me. If it is still rebooting because its getting hot, give HTC a ring.

What's an RUU?
It got to a point last night where it wasn't turning on at all just getting to the T-Mobile screen and then back to the HTC screen continuously. I managed to do a system reboot which stopped the error messages I was getting but it was still doing a number of reboots. Seems to have settled now but obviously there's still an underlying problem there.
Will def be giving HTC a call in a while but want to avoid sending it to them unless absolutely necessary.
In the last month or so my SMS has not been working properly. My phone doesn't send or receive all of my text messages. I will be sitting next to a friend and watch them send me a text and I will never receive it. It isn't every single text but it happens too often and is quickly becoming a big deal. It has been happening for the past month or so, which coincidentally is when I started using q Sense 3.0 rom. I have no idea if this is what caused it though. I also have problems where when my phone turns off, whether I restart it or if it dies, and I turn it back on it sends random old texts to random people.
Any insights on either of these two problems would be greatly appreciated.
Well since you said it kinda started to coincide with when you put that ROM on... try a different ROM for a while and see if it starts to work or not. That would be the first thing I would try.
Well I updated last week and now I notice I lose the keyboard while texting a lot now. This gets very frustrating. Also when I had bluetooth running I couldnt send a pic in a text message, seemed weird to me, anybody else getting these problems or is it just me.
Don't know about the bluetooth, but the disappearing keyboard issue is common and Microsoft is looking into it. People are saying it might have something to do with the background agents running and that it goes away if you disable them all.

The keyboard disapearing bug is not related to 7740, its a bug that popped up with Mango, still to be fixed.
My BT is always on, and I have no issues with sending pics in messages.
I noticed after the update that it happened a lot more than before the update. IDK it might have been something wrong with my phone at the time restarting it helped. I actually had to do a battery pull last night because my phone would power back on after it was just on. I havent had to do a battery pull since upgrading to Mango.
Happens to me frequently enough. Sometimes like 4 times in a row very quickly.
Yes, my keyboard is disappearing ever more than 7720, It's very annoying...
Thank god i didnt upgrade.. i think i will skip this upgrade at all..
I think I'm going to go back to the previous update. My keyboard has disappeared 3 times while typing this. Come on windows
Sent from my Venue Pro using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
I'm running stock rooted 5.0 on the ASUS_Z008D model of the zenphone 2.
This was originally my girlfriends phone, and she used it about 2 months before I started using it. At the end of those months before I took it, the camera completely stopped working. I looked up the few ways to fix it on google but none of the fixes I found worked. I think it's a hardware problem, but I have no idea truthfully. It always says it's running under another app. I have tried disabling and reenabling it, but nope. Nothing.
That isn't as important as the updates caused. I'm stock rooted, but I've had no problems at all updating the OTA updates ASUS sent out. After the latest one a few weeks ago, the phone finally started having problems that annoy me. Often at times, I send or get sent messages from other people, but the phone never receives or sends them. I've tested this using my siblings or freinds' phones right next to me, textng myself, and I never receive them at all. No delays, just never receive them.
Next, the update caused the phone to have a bunch of random reboots, and constant signal deaths. The phone will constantly completely lose signal, and take a few seconds, maybe a minute or two to reconnect. This usually comes with one to three reboots everyday.
Anyone else experience this or am I alone here? I'm thankful for this phone being awesome for budget price, and the fact it's not mine. (I'll be upgrading to the N 5X on release) But I still wanna know if I can fix this phone to save as a backup.

Mate, if there is a problem, unroot the phone and RMA it with the warranty... That warranty is there for a reason...
