[Q] Want to make the move to CM7 from sense...

Hey all,
I think I'm finally ready to make the move.
Where can I go to make sure I get the correct version of CM7 (i think final version - 7.0.2.1?)
I have had issues in past with getting a bad version.
Also... what is GAPPS?

I would Highly recommend using ROM Manager to install CM7.0.2.1
I have had better luck getting everything to work on the first shot using ROM Manager

CM7 here.
GAPPS are Google apps like Gmail, Market, but I believe you don't need them as they should be there, at least they were when I installed CM7.

Google Apps contain the proprietary Google applications that come pre-installed with most android devices. Due to licensing restrictions, these apps cannot come pre-installed with CyanogenMod and must be installed separately.

Huh, I didn't when I installed it, cause I downloaded them...my bad!

Stock mms apk request

I am on version 4.0.4 and rooted it. The like a fool i tried to flash and mms apk on the stock rom. Now my mms just FCs. Can anyone upload the stock mms apk for the sprint factory 4.0.4?

Just flash a rom over what you got should give you mms

Thanks for the apk but it won't let me install it because the apk is already there. Can you get the stock rom anywhere yet?

That's from the stock rom, just uninstall the current one and install the new one.
I do everything using Andriod Commander: http://www.softoxi.com/android-commander-mobile-video-trailer-screenshots.html

I see the apk is from the stock rom. My problem is that I have the other mms.apk installe dand it won't let me replace it.

Adobe Flash Player 11.1(.115.7) - JB/ICS

Seen as Adobe Flash Player has now been removed from the Play Store I thought I'd make my first post and UL the last version of it (or near enough). Works on Jellybean and ICS.

because there is so many posts of Adobe Flash Player and I am waiting CM10 and MIUI apps to test on Jelly Bean, when I have more working apps which is from other Android ROMs then I can make thread where is download links!

There usually isn't a big difference unless the main version is changed. This is still 11.1.115. I wouldn't be near excited unless it was 11.2 or 12. But alas, enjoy ~

You are SO my freaking hero!!
I've been struggling for two days trying to get flash to work in any browser that might work. An article I read said the best source was from adobe's web site. I tried two of their latest versions and I've been stumped on both my Xoom and my Samsung Galaxy S3.
I uninstalled and installed your version and Whallah!! It works. I couldn't be happier.

[Q] Google Now on Cyanogenmod 10.1 RC

Hi everyone,
Updated to the latest 10.1 release candidate and working great except that I don't have google now and can't download it from the play store. I flashed the google apps file that's out there for 4.2.2 dated 3/1/13. Does anyone else have the same issue or is there a newer version that I can't find?

hey whats up have you tried to update it or wipe cache/clear data if not uninstall GNOW and then install from the play store

Actually do you know how to access photosphere? It's not an option on my camera. Maybe it doesn't come with this rom?

Google dialer

I am trying to side load google dialer
I have successfully side loaded the google dialer ver 2.5.11 rc8-20511 yet it will not dial the phone.
I have tried to install newer versions but I can't get them to side load.
Which version works if any?

Did you install Google Contacts? Also, sideloading has issues. Nor the speaker or ringtone works.

At the very lease you'll need a custom recovery to flash the zip. Make sure you have a system backup before you flash it since this zip deletes the htc dialer without making a backup.
I don't see why it wouldn't work, but have a backup is always a save bet to take.

OMJ has a mod for his bad boys rom in the sprint htc 10 section. The mod works great, maybe it will work on any sense rom. You can give that a try.

Nope, just Maximus rom with root. No Xposed on it or any other mods installed
