Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get hold of a replacement back-cover for a Touch Pro 2 in the UK?
Sadly mine managed to fall out of its new case yesterday (PDair metal one - clip not tight enough ) and the back cover has some scratches on now.

There are plenty of them on ebay.
i've had my feather for about 3 weeks and loved it, but I took a ride on my motorcycle last night and presumably the phone was pressed up hard to my leg while in my pocket. some kind of stress that it went through cracked the part under the speakerphone hole - i had never dropped it before. so beware, that part of the case is a little weak.
luckily, incipio has an amazing warranty policy and will be sending me a replacement.
Similar thing happened to me. How did you go about the warranty process?

Same here. I still like the case though. I went through like 4 of them under warranty when I had a Nexus One.
the case doesnt seem very durable, has anyone dropped their phone with this case?
Mine cracked by the volume rocker. They are quite brittle. Even with the good warranty policy, I'm going to look for a different case.
Mine broke in the same place. Never dropped it.
I've yet to try to warranty it though. I just put a little super glue there and it's good as new.
I always keep my phone in either a speck or otterbox, and when I go to sell it a year later since it looks brandnew I'll make more money off than what I bought the phone for which is why I wont use any of those slim cases

mine still looks brand new. and it doesn't take up 130% of my pocket =P
Wow, mine broke exactly on the same spot. I never dropped it..
The spot it is breaking in looks like the place its broken of the mold at the factory. Case feels a little rough at that part.

meh ----- not a big deal as long as the atrix doesnt break.
i had the same case until i dropped it of the table and the case dropped and shot off and chipped the corner of the atrix
well days later the case just broke
i paid 30 for it and it just sucks
i just tossed it and got a tpu case off of amazon and i love it and have already dropped it and nothing happened

should have kept it. i just got a replacement for free, all i sent in was a picture of the damage and my order number. it was almost instantaneous and they didn't ask for it back. i also was able to order the new red color instead even if you didn't want it anymore, you could have just sold the replacement.
I was debating whether to get an otterbox case (commuter or impact) or the incipio feather, and I ended up getting the otterbox. It's a lot more durable. I feel like the feather is more decorative then useful...
Mine broke just from removing it from the phone maybe 10 times since I got it....the rubber starts to come off too close to the fingerprint reader and the edges of the case. I really like the lightweight design. Otterbox is too bulky.....I have the Speck case and that is already too much bulk for me.

I got mine from radioshack and it cracked in the same place as the creator of this thread. Is it possible to get a replacement on it if i didn't get it online though? I see u mentioned an order number =/ So now im starting to scratch my head and getting ready to cross my fingers.... Its a nice case and the thinnest one so i wouldn't mind getting a replacement considering it was $24. I have never dropped my phone with it in the case, but somehow it just snapped while it was in my pocket

Of course you can still get a warranty replacement from Incipio if you bought from RadioShack. I would call Incipio @ 800.733.0088 (US Toll Free) or email them @ [email protected] to find out about a replacement (info taken directly off Incipio's Website).
If you are within 30days of buying it from RadioShack, I would try to see if RS would exchange it for you in store- to avoid shipping and wait time.
you can also talk to online support and they will give you the proper steps. if you have a receipt of the purchase i think it'd be fine; luckily for me since it's online they didn't ask me to send it in, i don't know how that would work out for ones bought from vendors.
anyway, here's the new red one they sent me. the color is amazing; it looks completely different (maroon -> brilliant red) depending on the lighting and angle.

Does anyone know of an Australian re seller for these cases?
I am going down to the snow in a few weeks and wanted to take some nice 1080p video while i was down there and make sure its nicely protected.
Or does someone know of another case that would help?

im from Australia, i brought a Case-Mate Tough Case for my SGS2 from my local Joyce Mayne Store

i bought my Case-Mate Tough Case directly from the manufacturers website
had no issues with payment, shipping etc and got the case within 2 weeks
i brought mine for $29.95 from my local Joyce Mayne Store, the screen protecter that you get with the case did not fit the SGS2 it was to small and the cutouts were wrong so i took it back and showed them and they gave me a free 3 pack of Belkin screen protecters worth $15...

I just bought the 8.4 wifi version off a amazon seller listed as new,
It arrived today and was sealed however when I opened it, the box inside was wrong way around and the tab was missing the plastic paper that comes on all new devices.
Is it pretty much guranteed that its either used being sold as new or refurb selling as new?

Yes but it could have been re shrinkwrapped.
There was no tape on the box itself though.
If there was no screen protector on it, I'd be a bit suspicious if I received it and it was listed as brand new. When mine came out the box, it had plastic protectors on all sides of the Tab too.
I think even a manufacturer refurb is packaged up exactly the same, but have the word REFURBISHED clearly visible on the box.

A brand new box isn't shrinkwrapped. Samsung puts a small clear sticker over the box flap opening.

Same here. Kind of screen protector full of specs, and tiny plastics protecting sides, camera lens, etc.
and the box is sealed with circular tape at both ends - yours wasn't in original packaging.
I have recently purchased a ultimate shield glass screen protector that is case friendly from eBay for £10.99
The first 1 I was sent fitted perfect but would not stick to my phone so the company sent me another.
The second 1 stuck well but let dirt through the sides.
So they asked me to wait another week to try a upgraded version so I did and that arrived today. Although the sides are now black (previously clear) which fixed the dirt entering the side of the phone but none the top edges stick at all and there is far to much space between the phone screen and the glass so there's a clicking noise all the time when in use.
So I of course contacted the company again as I payed £10.99 and still my phone is not protected so I do expect a refund regardless to there help sending more out as they are not fit for purpose, I am thankful for them trying.
So the last conversation I had with them regarding a refund was they have yet another version of the protector they are sending out to me today to try so I shell receive that tomorrow hopefully and if it fits well I will upload pictures ect..
The bottom line is atm the ultimate shields glass screen protectors do not yet work for our devices so you may won't to keep clear for now if you have thought about buying 1.

New 1 just arrived. I will be installing shortly. This 1 is described very different as a 3d silk printed / black
Just fitted this screen protector and it is the best I've had to date. It fits perfect! There is deffienetly no space between the glass. It fits perfect around the phone. The glue is much stronger than any previous protectors. The curve seems more of a curve than previous but I still am able to use my cafele case without any uplifting.
I'm extremely happy with this protector and deffienetly worth the £10.99!
I'm not sure what cases this will work with as I only have 2 slim cases and originally it's advertised as a case friendly protector so it should fit a variety of cases as there is a gap at the top and rear for the case bumber access. I will try and upload a picture of it fitted later today when I have access to a camera.
Ultimate shields seem to be a good company and will help you with any issues. I would recommend buying this version and if you was to go ahead and buy this model I would message them first and tell them you want the new version vimto25 from xda was sent in case you receive old stock.

I think it's a 50/50 situation. The first few I had of them was classed as case friendly and I believe they was very case friendly but as I stated they had issues.
This new 1 looks slightly less case friendly but I have a case on it and it fits to a T so I think it needs testing with different cases that I do not have. It has gaps around the top and bottom and the sides for a case to fit with a open top which I prefere.
I've just received a message from the seller after giving them my feedback. They have said it's not yet in production I am the first to of tried this. But they assured me if you message them with my xda username you will be send this new design of there's.
I hope someone with a few cases purchases this and gives there feedback on what cases fit and what cases don't.
Ordered one today and they are send me a development unit, thank you!

Well you've done it the right way a protector should always be brought before the phone arrives in my opinion ?
I have ordered the Nillkin Frosted Shield case based on the positive reviews in the other thread. Phone arrives tomorrow, and screen protector is shipping today so hopefully...... I always like to fit the screen protector straight away while the phone is new.
