Is my ONE X bricked? - HTC One X

Gday,
I tried to install Alpha 11 of CM10 on my phone today without backing up existing rom (please don't hammer me for that, I know it was dumb)
Anyway, the boot animation for CM was up for ages so I tried to go back into fastboot but now it just sits there with the
"checking SD card update..." text there and just doesn't progress. I am assuming this is a dead phone?
thank you anyone who tries to help me out here

Never proceed without back ups !
Have you tried flashing the boot.img from the rom?
Did you wipe cache/dalvik cache?
If all else fails, try to find the RUU for your device?
Hope this is helpful..

really sorry, had power plugged in....

Did you flash the correct boot.img through fastboot?

Hahaha okay !

A generalization for android devices if you can still enter bootloader then its not bricked.

Nope , not a dead phone ...

Hi Friends, I have the same situation right now. While I was flashing boot.img I made something wrong I think and now my One X is stuck at Bootloader and saying "checking SD card update..."
I cant open pls help dudes... How can I make it alive...I couldnt find any solution here...:crying:

Hi, I have just solved this problem by charging, changing the cable and unpluging. Then I installed JB Android_Revolution_HD-One_X_33.1, but it stucks on HTC logo.
I have S-ON and HBOOT 1.31. CWM 5.8.4.0.
What should I do now?
Thanks.

Already wiped, installed stock roms, stock kernels, stock boots.
Tried to use RUU default, one that i used before, but now i can't run it again.
when try to execute RUU i got ERROR[140]: BOOTLOADER VERSION ERROR.
Someone can help ?
That error seems to tell you what the problem is.
One presumes the solution is to flash a stock bootloader.
Did any ota? Try to get a ruu for the correct version of your bootloader

I have had this problem, after a ota update, while I had the battery charger plugged.
To resolve the problem, I did needed, to flash a ruu, that fits to my hboot-version.
In my case the hboot still had been 0.43 and I did needed the ruu 1.26.xxx.x

What is ur current hboot-version?
I think, it's still 0.43?
If yes, then u need to download the o2 ruu, in Version 1.26.207.2 and install it.
Gesendet von meinem HTC One X mit Tapatalk 2
Yes. Hboot is 0.43. A downgrade is impossible. True?
But o2-germany released yesterday a OTA Firmware Upgrade. The Problem is solved since the Update.

[ROM][AOSP][4.3][cfX-Toolchain LLVM Clang 3.4]HTC One X codefireXperiment public BETA

At the request of a long time codefireX user @MisterMeJ who recently upgraded to the One X, we are attempting to bring our ROM to this device now as well. If you are unfamiliar with our team please feel free to drop by and say hello @ codefirex.com This is a Beta release and as of this post is untested. I do not own this device, I own the One XL. However it was built with the latest CM device trees so most everything should be in order, with the same issues as listed for cm-10.2. Please follow the same install instructions for other aosp ROMs for this device, as I am not up to speed on hboot/s-off status on this device.
If you are ready to experice what codefirex is all about visit the thread here

OK we've got a boot loop report here, can anybody with some logcat ability get me some logs at boot and a last_kmsg of the failed boot atempt please? Whatever it is should be a minor fix, but without the device in hand I have to rely on you guys for logs. Otherwise we are dead in the water here....

BootLoop

(I'm a noob, please keep that in mind) Whenever i want to install a rom with android 4.3 or above, my phone goes into a bootloop. It plays the startup animation from the rom and then stays stuck. I tried deleting cache and did a factory reset. When i install a 4.2 rom, my wifi doesn't work.. This happend after i unlocked the bootloader, i thought it would be over after I installed a custom rom but it didn't. So I'm kinda stuck to 4.1 now. I don't have any backups made from my stock rom... (retarded). Someone please give me the golden tip
Thanks in advance.

Edit: one thing I forgot to mention, when I was running 4.2.2 stock my wifi was working fine.
