OTA update to 4.0.2

I have an unlocked GSM version. I am current running v4.0.1 but can't seem to get the update. Any suggestions?

Pray your EMEI gets pulled by Google for update or do it yourself manually.

How to update Bell S3 with Fido sim?

Hey guys,
I know an OTA update came out today, but after checking for updates all day, I still don't have anything.
I am using a Fido sim card with my unlocked stock Bell S3. Is that the problem??

Could be, the device send's specific info to the device managmenet server to request the ota.

I have a Rogers phone that I unlocked and did not receive an OTA notification. When I manually checked for updates, there was nothing.
I had to use the Kies software... Which was very fast btw... But buggy at first, the program would not detect my phone so I had to reinstall the drivers/firmware for Kies and took the battery out of my phone for a minute. All in all, when it actually started to work, the whole process took about 15 minutes.

Nexus s no signal

I was stuck on gb 2.3.3 so I unlocked bootloader rooted and updated to 2.3.6 as soon as the update was applied I got its update notification for ics. So applied that then went got one for jb 4.1.1 applied that then got one for 4.1.2 so did that but now I can't get a signal on any gsm network tried different network Sims also ... Help would be great

Could it be possible I have flashed a sim locked image and flashed that? If so can someone give me the correct unlocked rooted or unrooted sim free firmware 4.1.2 for Samsung galaxy nexus s?

Galaxy Nexus =/= Nexus S. Don't see what's hard about it.
Try restoring the latest factory image. The correct one for your phone.

How to force my Galaxy nexus to update google play to v4?

Hello there are few days not that google has released the latest version of google play. does anyone know how i can force my device to download it? i don't want to install apk files that are not available in the internet

I got the update a few days ago. It's not a leak.

Its not leaked its already being pushed officially has been for the last week, get the apk directly from android police site if you haven't received the update yet, just google search it, google play store 4.0.25 is the latest.

You guys didn't read the op. He said that he does not want to install from APK. So its not rolling out to GNex... Only for newer phones... Therefore its a leak.

What's wrong with installing the apk if you don't mind me asking, is something magical going to happen with getting it pushed rather than using the apk from android police.

Absolutely nothing at all. It's 100% safe to install the apk for the Play Store from AP. It's where a majority of us get/install it from. :good:

Anyone receive kitkat update?

Like the title says, anyone get it? I know its rolling out but I was wondering if it started. My gf just got hers on her S4 with tmobile
