My suggestions:
Titanium Backup: backup/restore app + app data + many more in Pro version
Mobile Odin app: on-device flashing for Samsung phones and tablets
TraingleAway app: remove yellow triangle and reset flash counter for Samsung phones and tablets
BBS: BetterBatteryStats need root for Alarm and Network stats
Terminal Emulator: Needs root for SU commands
Root Checker: checks if your Phone is rooted properly
Voltage Control: check and change min./max. CPU freq and available voltages for all freq when running on a compatible kernel
Elixir Widgets: need root for some nice system toogles/actions
ES File Explorer: needs root for mounting the system partitions for read/write access
My only addition to the list mentioned above, would be ROM Toolbox Pro.
It's pretty much all the essential root apps you'll need, plus a ton more features.
Gotta be the best root user app there is.
And even though it costs a few quid, it really is worth every penny.
P.S. This thread will be getting moved by a mod because it's in the wrong section

A contribution from my side check out this one too:
Root Explorer (File Manager)
Features include SQLite database viewer, Text Editor, create and extract zip or tar/gzip files, extract rar archives, multi-select, execute scripts, search, remount, permissions, bookmarks, send files (via email, bluetooth etc), image thumbnails, APK binary XML viewer, change file owner and group.
a paid app but I've found it very usefull.

Either delete one via a file browser (root explorer, ES file explorer, etc.) or uninstall one with Titanium. Pretty basic stuff man.
Also, this should be in the Q & A section not in themes and apps.
Remove superuser.apk from system/app directory and reboot

Hey,
Does anyone know of a good app which I can remove stock and system apps with. I've tried Root App Delete and System App Remover but neither seems to remove the apps for me.
Eric
I always use es root explorer. Just setup root permissions and delete the physical apk files in the directories.
Have you rooted?
System apps are protected, flash a custom kernel or a stock kernel with write protection disabled then you can delete stuff.

I know this has been asked a few times and I have yet to find a fix for it. I have tried the mount -o rw,remount /system, flashing fk19r kernel, Su2.78 systemless, changing permissions in root explorer and nothing seams to work.
I have searched for last couple of days and nothing is solid and pertains to this particular build. I see in post by Chain fire toolbox is no longer used and it's now toybox that handles mountings (from my understanding) and still not able to write to system or parts of.
I give, what do I need to change to have write enabled?
Thanks

Try with es file explorer
I have the same problem. ES File Explorer is able to write to system, but I still can't get GSam root companion to work...

That's what I am finding, could not get the file explorers to write to system till after flashing in TWRP an AdAway host list. Now system is no longer write protected (can edit file explorers) but sub folders and other folders don't allow writing. GSam is another one.
Must be a command or script line that needs to be updated in apps that will allow writing to what is not normally allowed. At least is my thinking.
And thanks you two[emoji4]

So I am rooted, got android lost installed, the app that offers some useful features in case your phone falls into wrong hands. However I've been struggling to convert the app onto a system app in order to prevent it being wiped out in case the unfriendly fellow performs a system wipe.
All attempts to convert this app and any other app into system app fails with error message 'no space on system storage' I've tried this using apps2sd, link2sd, root essentials and all failed annoyingly.
Is there any specific way to get this done on Android 11 on the OnePlus 9 series. I've had no issues doing this on my 7pro, 6T and OnePlus 8.
The op9 have dynamic partition with a where so far (system, vendor, system-ext) are write-protected. if you want to install an app as a system app you have to do it with magisk modul app systemizer and a therminal
That's extremely helpful. But after installing the module. Can you help with any specific method making an app a system app? I am kinda stuck on what to do after installing the module. Thanks a million.

Thanks a million bud. I got everything now. However I still couldn't systemize the app I wanted. The current version 17.5, is it compatible with Android 11?

Here's what happened. The Magisk module Systemize lost support from the original dev. You can no longer on Android 11 and up select the app from the list(because it doesn't list of does list but is random characters instead of names). HOWEVER, you can download the app APK from APKmirror.com or other sites, find the file path and copy it e.g. /sdcard/download/yourapp.apk go to Systemize in terminal by opening terminal and typing
Su
Systemize
(Select option 3) 3 - Systemize given apk
Paste the file path of the downloaded apk
Choose if you want system or priv-system
Voila

-install the app the normal way
-copy it's folder from data/app to somewhere you remember
-rename it to something clear with no space like "lost" (also rename the apk inside)
-uninstall the app
-open Mixplorer or any file explorer and give it root access
-go to system/app and paste that folder and give it 755 permission
-reboot
if still not work use the recovery file manager to paste on system/app (after mounting system)

System folder is read only. You use the Magisk module to Systemize. See my above post
