System app remover - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey,
Does anyone know of a good app which I can remove stock and system apps with. I've tried Root App Delete and System App Remover but neither seems to remove the apps for me.
Eric

I always use es root explorer. Just setup root permissions and delete the physical apk files in the directories.

Have you rooted?

System apps are protected, flash a custom kernel or a stock kernel with write protection disabled then you can delete stuff.

Hello, I want to install a new minecraft 14.0 b3 but it everytime shows me that my androd device (Alcatel OneTouch Idol) has out of space. I have deleted all previos app data of older version and the app but it still shows me that i have out of space. I tried install some free apps from google play and it was all right.
Please help me.

I have both supersu and superuser installed

And I can't seem to remove either of them. Is there something I need to do to remove? Probably will remove superuser

Either delete one via a file browser (root explorer, ES file explorer, etc.) or uninstall one with Titanium. Pretty basic stuff man.
Also, this should be in the Q & A section not in themes and apps.
Remove superuser.apk from system/app directory and reboot

use sd maid to remove one of them (find it on playstore) then open the open you want to use and install the new binaries and you wont have to worry youll just have one super user working!

Just a question...

what's the different between |system\app and \data\app.
Under \system\app there's bunch of apk ****.apk
Under \data\app there's com.***.***.apk
Thanks
System/app are system apps. Data/app are user apps.
The apks on data are like that because that's the name that they were compiled (or something like that).
So do we need both for out to run?

You need system apps so system can work. Data apps are the ones you download and install.

System/app contains all the apks that come with the rom. For android these are system apps which cannot be uninstalled without root permission.
Data/app contains the apks of the apps you as a user have installed. These can be uninstalled normally at without any special root app.
Data/data contains the data of both system and user apps. Each folder in it corresponds to an app.
Data/dalvik-cache contains the dalvik cache created by the phone for user and system apps both. For system apps it is created the first time you start the phone after flashing. That is the reason first boot takes time. For user apps I think dalvik cache is created when it is installed.
HIT THANKS IF I HELPED

App Permission Manager

Hi M users, can anyone recommend a good permission manager? One that's easy to use, has a decent UI etc?
I used to use LBE privacy guard, but that reboots my phone. I think that is maybe related to root issues?
Searching for "permissions" in Google Play is a nightmare...half of the list is games, nothing to do with app permission management. Many of them list permissions and not edit them either.
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=permission&c=apps
Use root explorer or es file explorer...

I tried ES file explorer, it didn't have permission management, only uninstall ability.
There's one benefit of non-Google ROMs I suppose!
I tried a few but most were just explorers. I will post if I find a good one.
Have you tried root explorer...

I find that Advanced Permission Manager can do that
For me the best option is installing Xposed Framework then using App Settings module...
Personally, i think root browser is no1

Can't delete apk within root browser ?

I'm trying to delete an apk file within a Rom in my storage/ download folder under system /priv-app strange enough long pressing to delete the apk as you usually can do to any file doesn't open a option to delete or any option at all .This is all within the Rom itself.
I was directed to delete the Samsung service 2apk to bypass Samsung sign in after flashing the rom, but I can't even with root granted and using two different root browsers.

You can buy root explorer and do it from there that what I use, or place hyper drive zip on your desktop or laptop and deleted from there.and move the zip back to your phone and flash away.
