Cannot Get Kindle Fire utility to Read kindle as online - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The title explains it all for the most part.
I have tried various methods such as manual installs of the drivers to restoring my kindle, restarting my computer, etc.
no matter what I do kfu does not want to say online or detect my kindle.
Also I renamed my folder from Kindle Fire Utility to KFU and moved it onto C: directly.
Any help is greatly appreciated, as this is my first time rooting on the 6.3.1 so this new way of rooting should be simpler...
Thanks again for any help though!

[Q] Kindle Fire Unrecognized by Windows

I watched the video and I've read several threads about trying to solve my problem, but without success.
I rooted my Kindle Fire tonight utilizing the Kindle Fire Utility, but was unable to get the Google Play Market to run correctly without force closing.
I followed the directions in these forums and went to install FireFireFire to see if that would assist things, and during that time my device locked up at this image.
The forums will not allow me to post an image or a link but it is the standard Kindle Fire logo with the Android logo above that.
I attempted to follow the directions in the Kindle Unbrick Utility hosted here, however my Windows 7 is not recognizing the Kindle at all anymore. It's listed as 'malfunctioning' under windows and all of the unBrick utility options says the device is not responding.
I tried to reinstall the ADB drivers from both Kindle Fire utility and by manually editing the android usb driver in the Android SDK file.
Any ideas or did I just completely destroy my Kindle Fire after having it rooted for approximately six hours.
EDIT: Oh, my goodness. The unbrick just worked randomly. It still force closes google play but I am just going to cut my losses, I need a drink.

[Q]Kindle Fire Brick

I recently tried to root my Kindle Fire using KFU however when it was trying to install FFF the fire rebooted and is now stuck at the bootloader with no animation. It's current not recognized by adb and it shows up in device manager as an unknown device. I've tried the kindle fire unbrick utility and several other programs and I have no idea what to try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Soupkit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1850038 after runninng it on a live usb with persistent you must reboot the live usb for it to pick up fastboot which is what I believe your device is in.
Soupkit
Fixed it using soup kit on a usb linux distro, thanks for the help.
Nice I'm positive Soupkit will prove useful for many users for many different reasons. Make sure to thank Soupmagnet for all his hard work on a very worthy script.

[Q] How to get adb to work for kindle?

So I am stuck at the very beginning for rooting the kindle fire.
I tried kindle fire utility and the KFF supplement guide on here as I cannot get the adb drivers installed to allow the connection of my kindle fire to my laptop.
I remember using this ADB stuff for my evo 3d but that was 2 years ago:silly:
Any help guys?
Im running 6.3.2 stock software
Thanks

[Q] Rooted Kindle 6.3.2 stuck in TWRP

I used the Kindle Fire Utility to root my Kindle 6.3.2 and then I screwed up. I think I accidentally used the 'Advanced Wipe' feature in TWRP and killed my Kindle.
Right now I can boot my Kindle to the TWRP recovery no problem. But I cannot get my PC to see the device so that I can sideload CyanogenMod or something similar.
When I plug my Kindle into my Win 7 PC it dings, it sees the usb connection, the and Kindle starts recharging so I know there is some connection. In Device Manager it shows that I have an Android ABD device.
But I cannot see the Kindle in Explorer so I can move the CyanogenMod .zip over to the kindle for installation.
I've tried every USB driver in the book and I am out of ideas. Also, I am a n00b at this so I hope I used all the terms correctly.
Help!
PS: As a side note, does Google Play still work with CyanogenMod? That is what started this whole mess - my CM Kindle would not recognize my Google Play games.
Thanks

[Q] Help! I somehow erased all the abd files and now my computer shows no kindle

I have a kindle fire 2 that was flashed by the Kindle Fire First AIde with compete success. Then my husband got a kindle fire for Christmas, and I had to flash it again. But this time, it took me another two days because all the ADB files I tried didn't work. An worse yet, I didn't keep a copy of that file on my computer. Worse that that, I showed the hidden devices in the control manager, and erased the three kindles that were there but not working. Now I don't know if I can automatically reboot them back on my computer, or if there is some procedure I need to do.
I'm totally addicted to my kindle, and need you kind people to help me out!
