Hi guys.. nowadays i am really afraid of tryıng new roms because i am not able to backup my rom. when it continues, through the end of backup it waits a bit and says "error when backing up sd ext" .. what can cause this problem? Any idea?
Thanks..
It happened with mee too, seems like cwm bug.

i tried teamwin recovery and, result is same... i do not know excatly but maybe it can be about kernel or sd card itself? just an idea..
It's not cwm bug. It's just that your memory is low or close. Delete some files it will work.

hi guys,
I'm in trouble again,
does anyone know how to get rid of the goldcard patched on sd?
Just format it.

I dont understand why you want the Goldcard patch removed..............both of my SD cards are Goldcards and both work perfectly........even with DATA2SD

My SD cards are class 4 cards of 8GB and 2GB............and i have had NO PROBLEMS whatsoever..........i made them into goldcards before i unlocked my bootloaders, during the times the DIAG files were are trend in our forums.......
You have the option to format but i advise you not to do so as the goldcard has not that much effect on the efficiency of your SDcard
I went through the gold card process again this time everything works just fine

Hey everyone,
I need a Solution to my problem I have. When I make a nandroid backup everything backs up okay except when it gets to backing up sd-ext it says 'Error while backing up image of sd-ext'. I know its not a memory problem as I have 1.9 gb available and still have 1.2 left after the backup with an error. I have made backups with cwm before but this is the first time I have ran into this problem. Please could someone help me?

Do you have an SD Ext? If not it will give this error but backup will complete successfully. Its normal.

R: [Q] Missing PK76DIAG.zip during HBOOT
Nobody has that file. When you go to hboot it will keep saying missing file bla bla. Don't look at that, it doesn't matter
The reason I'm asking is because when I try to flash recovery it won't recognize my device so I did a little research and i found that it had to do something with that file not being found

That's a driver problem. Did you install htc sync?
Yes

Connect the phone in fastboot mode, go to computer - >manage - >there should be a device with our driver. Right click on it, update driver and locate it manually in htc sync folder
I'm currently at work but I will try this soon as I'm home

I did what you suggested and it worked without flaw thank you

You probably can't. On windows there is a program called recuva. You can try bit but since it was a partition formatting i doubt you will get anywhere... Sorry pal

If you have a way of mounting it to your computer you can probably recover most data. Some may be corrupted or there may be issues where you've already overwritten it so it won't be 100%.
But this app is the one I use for all my data recovery at work: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

Yes, select A2SD when flashing. I had the same problem with M2SD script.
