im new using windows mobile and im looking for an applications to make calls international any information about that
uhmmm, not sure where to start with this.
I could go with:
You just dial the number you want with the country and area code and push send. Talk and then pay the bill when you get it.
or
Get Skype and use Internet based calling. There is a cost to this as well I believe.
or
It is a windows based phone. There is no hack to allow free phone calls to other places without the carrier allowing it and thus billing you for it.
Maybe a little more information on what you want to do would be helpful. You sort of said " I have a new car so how do I get to Vegas?"

The questions was vague and poorly composed (just like your subsequent responses). That's why you didn't get a proper answer to your question.
Hi All,
Just got my new Lumina after being with TMO and using a HD7. ATT is new to me so I was surprised when I had to set up the voicemail, then a password, then realized that unless you turn off your VM password, you have to enter it every time you call.
I also found out that Visual Voicemail is not standard which is a shame. I like it a lot better. There used to be a hack on the HD7 that would allow you to turn on the VVM. Is there anything like that for the Lumina?
TIA.

That didnt really help but thanks anyway. I just called ATT. Who knew that there was a data plan with and without VVM... They just changed the plan quickly. No change in minutes, price etc. Just had the wrong one.
Thanks all.

Hmmm, the first line in that post tells you to make sure you get a rep that knows how to provision your account. You called AT&T and finally got a rep that knew what they were doing... It got you going in the right direction it seems.

Yes it did get me going in the right direction to call customer support and again, thank you. I didn't mean to be rude or brush off your attempt to help.
Usually I do search and read hence the low number of posts in 6 years as a member but I obviously didnt get that the thread was telling me I should call customer service.
Maybe I should put it down to new toy syndrome...
Cheers.

Hi guys, I've found an HTC Wildfire S this morning at the train station. IT has locked SIM and locked Screen. Tried to look in the SD card but there'snothing useful.
Debug USB is not enabled so I can't navigate the system folders to find any clue. What do you suggest to help me find the owner out?
Why didn't you just hand it over to the police?

That's the last option. I trust more myself
No, the reason is that is much easyer for the owner if I can directly call him. And also often the loss of a low budget device is not reported to the police, so the owner will never find it.
Just some months ago I forgot my phone on a train and a guy called with it my mum and I was ablo to retrieve it in a couple of days!
try installing the sim card to other phone and see if it works than just wait for the owner to call on that number...
Or
you can make a nandroid backup and extract that backup using your pc find the social apps like facebook or tweeter and you will find the account info for the owner and you can send the message to that account that you have found the phone or whatever you want to send...

Take it to the carrier store. They will contact them and i think they might even give reward or something. I believe carriers used to.

You should be able to see what the network is from the SIM - I'd contact them really. Whoever lost the phone is going ot have to contact them so would be able to get the phone back that way. You could also leave a note with your contact details at the lost property at the train station.
Then contact the service provider of the phone. They will have a record of the device serial number and IMEI, and will know the owner of the phone.
Edit: too slow

Power off the device, remove and replace the battery, boot into hboot by pressing volume- and power, --wait-- use volume keys to select recovery. You should now be able to use adb stuff even though usb debugging is disabled. I'm not sure, but it's worth a try. I still think the best option is to return the phone to the carrier.
I think if i lost my phone id be a little upset at someone going so far as a nandroid of my stuff even if trying to return to me. Id just take it to carrier. It's a guarantee it gets to the person. They usually have an email or alternate contact for the person.
There will be a serial no on the Sim Card, so that the carrier people will easily identify the owner. (Same thing for the phone also)
**Much simple**.
Hello,
This morning I called to get my MLS code from sprint the lady gave me some BS about if she gave it to me I would have to pay an early termination fee. I said to myself, "WTF!!!!" What do I do? Please help? Ultimately what I want to do is unlock my phone.
Sprint and most providers will not let you unlock your phone which by the way the MSL does not unlock it so it can be used on other networks. Back on track, as long as you are on a contract or making payments on the phone.
The MSL just allows you access to dangerous menus that could actually screw your device up if you set something wrong. It also would not be covered by warranty if you needed to get your screw up repaired.
Easy way if you have another phone is to activate your old phone then reactivate your note through the sprint website. The website will give you a 6 digit code that it says you may need to activate. That's your MSL

The MSL unlock and a SIM unlock are not the same thing. The MSL unlock just gives you access and ability to edit that service menu and nothing else.

Call sprint. If the first CS doesn't give it to you call back and speak to another. You'll get it.
The newest GTools gives you your MSL Code without hassle.
Your msl code is in your sprint activation email.
Look for the activation code.

Lmao that's the most bull**** thing ive ever heard dude.
All I did was call and say that I am a power user who likes to use LTE-only mode and she gave it to me, in fact she gave me all of the MSL for the second note 4 which is on my sprint account as well. I guess some are easier than others. Just try again. :fingers-crossed:
Theres free apps in the playstore that will give it to you. No need for a CS Rep.

You have to install the app first then apply the Update. (Credit to: idone)
For the life of me, I can't find where in Galaxy Tools it shows my MSL code?!?!?!
All I did was go to the sprint chatroom customer service. I simply said, "After performing the sprint update, I keep getting this window that keeps asking me for a msl number and won't let me continue. What do I do from here?". I kid you not, within 1 min they gave me my msl code. Lol
---------- Post added at 06:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:01 PM ----------
It won't. It says unknown. Just go through my simple process.

Hello fellas(and ladies)
I have a Samsung Galaxy S9, from t-mobile, dark blue. I've locked myself out of the device, and I have a friend that is going to help me get it back working. In order for him to be able to help me, he needs to know the model number. I know it's a SM-G960.. but how do I determine the exact model (i.e. sm-g960f, sm-g960e, etc). I'm unable to login to the phone so I cant check it like that, and the back cover is sealed on there as you know unless you have the tools to remove the cover (which I don't). Is there another way to find out which model it is, like download mode or recovery mode or something? Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for your advice.
Edit- US Model

You just keep locking yourself out of devices don't you....
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j7/help/galaxy-j7-g-oogle-verification-issue-t3852720/
Well one thing you can do is reset your Google password on a computer then try to login again after 24 hours. Surely you have a recovery email address which you can use?
This is Samsung's instructions on what to do:
If you already reset your device, but don't remember your Google username and/or password, the device can't be used. In that case, you can do one of these:
If you know your Google username but can't remember the password, you can reset your password on the device, or at www.google.com. It can take up to 24 hours for a new password to sync with all registered devices. After 24 hours, you can try logging in to your phone with the new password.
If you have multiple Google Accounts, and you can't remember which Google Account you set up on your device, visit https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager.
Log in with your Google username and password and check the list of devices registered to the account. If you don't see the device listed on the account, it means the device is registered to a different account. Use the same process to check for devices linked to your other Google Accounts. When you find the registered account, use it to log in to your device.
If you can't remember any of your Google Account information, you can send your device, along with proof of purchase, to an authorized Samsung Service Center. Samsung has special tools to reset the phone to factory defaults with no protection enabled.

Furthermore:
It seems dodgy to me that you posted a topic pretty much asking the same thing about a month ago regarding a totally different phone here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j7/help/galaxy-j7-g-oogle-verification-issue-t3852720/
FRP is there to prevent lost/stolen phones from being used, if you've bought a phone that is FRP locked you should take it up with the seller. Not try to break the lock yourself!
