Hi everybody, please excuse my english in advance because, like the title says, I'm Colombian
I'm so ashamed of asking for help but I really need it, first of all I'm a new user of Samsung and my first one is this SII T989, I was so glas because It seem like a very powerful device and in hopes to make it better I arrived here, I installed a ROM called Darkside and it's kernel and everything is fine, i like my new buddy. But now I have adquired a data plan but it doesnt seems to work, I wonder if it could because I'm not from USA and there's a problem about the ROM.
Another thing, what is the ROM that actually you most recomend, I'm with my ROM for a while and I wanna know if there's new versions. And if I wanna change the ROM, will I lose all my apps and progress in them (in example, losing all the levels in angry birds)

What mobile carrier do you use? Your APN information will have to be provided to you by your carrier and you will have to chage it in the network settings. There are several really good roms, depends on what you like. You will probably have to do a full wipe if you move to any other rom which means you will lose all your apps and data. You will have to download all your apps again.

You can use an app called titanium backup to save all of your apps and data.
However, I recommend you only restore apps and not their data when switching roms. Games are ok though. Never encountered any problems with restoring game data.

My mobile carrier is called Claro, they said me that I have the data plan activated but I don't get the 3G sign in the main screen nor can navigate without wifi, I searched about the problem and I read about an app called Tweakker who could help me, but It doesn't work on ICS 4. SO it's a shame.
And for the others, you would recommend me to change my rom? Do the roms maybe affects the data plan?

No roms no tiene nada que ver con tu data plan. Tienes que ponerle los codigos de la compania de celular que estas usando para poder tener aseso al internet.. roms y kernels no tiene nada que ver con eso p.s los codigos se llaman APN
No roms have nothing to do with your data plan. You would have to change the APN codes on the phone of your carrier to make data work.
Settings>>mobile networks>>apn
Darkside Rom looks different but maybe a picture can still help. Where mine says t-mobile yours has to say claros apn.

Hi, this is a rom themed like the optimus 2x. Its aim is to be asfast, stable and have good battery life as possible [comment with your results ]
Details about the rom:
Optimus 2x theme (created by me)
Boot animation of optimus 2x
Multi-CSC
Damian Ultimate kernel, credits to @DamianGTO (therefore 350 mb ram)
2 launchers (GTG and gingerbread, not the lg because i wasnt able to make it work...)
I removed some innecesary system apps
A couple of things more...
My rom instead of pre-installing apps, what it does is create a directory in the internal sd card called "app" without the "

camera with hack (pinch to zoom + power button to take photos)

Some apps and things from the optimus 2x like the launcher, im trying to make them work but i cant find how. Any help on that would be apprecieated
To install just install it with CWM.
I recommend doing a cache and dalvik cache wipe before installing.
Nor me or xda is responsible for anything that happens to your phone in case something happens.

ports are nice and always welcome, but stability, solidness, energy consumption, usability and speed are what users really need and appreciate
I am using this rom for a week and my search for the perfect solution has ended, my phone really works as a rocket, and is as much stable as you will ever need
perhaps this is not the most spectacular work in software engineering, but it is a must in user friendlyness
highly recommended indeed, dare you give it a try, you won't be disappointed

I haven't installed ante screenshot app so I can't show you a Picorelli but I use ti gent 1200-1300 in Quadrant with Iberia 170 installed apps

I get 1200-1300 too without lagfix. With lagfix ext 4 1400 and with ext2 1700-1800.

I've found it and installed successfully on the device: with Nova Launcher it seems to run good...sometimes it can show some lag, but it can be quite good.
The only thing that is VERY UGLY is the ram occupied: 33Mb...
Anyway, if I can post it I will do it, no problem about that...

Well ok, this is the Live Wallpaper...as you can see it's pretty "big" in terms of memory...let me know if this runs good on your devices and what rom you have...I'm on AOKP v22 with Nova Launcher...
thank you!i have a gnote rom in download,but too low bandwith because it's 560 mb and my pc is uploading also 1000+ wallpapers on picasa for the gnex gallery....it ends tomorrow with that slow connections.now i can stop the rom download because you posted that!

Not all country got it on their sony update
It works perfectly on my non-rooted stock .55 Xperia S, located in Malaysia.
I've tried with GPS on/off and both are working (I have Google location service on).

Hello to all, rom is very good, smoth, battery life good, one question, i asked once before where i was runing AHD, no one answer, i got same problem today: unfortunaly home screen has stoped, because low ram memory
Its 3 gb of ram i cant imagine that lg g3 with 3 gb ram to go on free space only 400 mb,
Its know isue on lolipop or what exactli

Is it normal that I experience heavy battery drain after flashing? 76% and estimated time is 2 hours or so. Flashed v1.5 with chupa kernel. Do i need to play around in trickster mod?

Hi, your ROM looks good and would like to try it out. I was just wondering if it was possible to add the Statusbar network speeds mod? That's pretty much the only reason i use the ressurection ROM. Not sure if it's possible, haven't seen it in the Play store either. Just looks really cool!

You can play around with trickster but my sugestion is wait for a couple of battery cycle charges

You can find a third party app for that I can make the mod but since I have limited time for this hobby I prefer to keep only the basics

As for the size of the photo when ringing.
So that was the whole screen, not in a circle.
Where can I find a flashable stock kernel? I wanna use this rom with stock kernel but I don't wanna reflesh everything.

Hello to all, its seems to be this screen every day 2 or 3 time, i make full wipe, but again its show the same problem HOME STOPED. By the way i closs all my apps, and my ram memory is 1.2 gb free, Crash please tell me what to doo, thanks
