Im looking a the top devs and non has updated their roms with the official release that leaked a few days ago. Anybody know when a rom based on that leak will be available?
Might help if you actually searched.

I did search but this rom has many issues...wanted to see if there were any others.
Plus it has an Sever error 500 if you try to download
Also this is a bonestock, it's not a custom rom, its the stock image, bloated and with bell crap in there.
Smart guy is making one in development

Is there an app to install this or upgrade the one that is on my phone already? I used a custom ROM and it was in there but then when I tried to find it I couldnt. Anyone got the apk for it? Is it even possible? Just curious.
I thought this was being pushed OTA already to 2.1 users. I've seen links to it, but Im in no hurry.
its packaged in a couple ROMs on the Epic ROM Wiki. I have it currently and I'm using AOSP Magic.

The only reason I haven't rooted yet (and it's like pulling teeth) is because I'm waiting for the OTA Multi-view update. I know you can revert to stock once it's comes and then update, but if there's just a simple Multiview apk to install once rooted then I'd have no reason to wait anymore.
Tried Googling but kept getting spam sites that leads to nowhere. And I don't want to flash an entire ROM if I don't have to. So does it exist?
Not to my knowdelge. Try Jedi x3.2.

There's not one. Its more than just installing an app to get multiview for roms, I believe its more of a framework thing.

Premium Suite
Its not just multiview, its Premium Suite a group of added features I think samsung has implemented into the rom. I have been searching for days trying to find a stock 4.1.2 rom with Premium Suite on it so i can compare it to a stock 4.1.1 rom to see what the differences are so i can then try to merge it into a stock sprint s3 4.1.1 rom and hope for the best. Only problem im having is all the 4.1.2 roms i find are tar files and the stock 4.1.1 i find are recovery flashable zip flies. I can work with flashable zip but not tar files. I have also never dont this before so... who knows
I'm trying to find 4.2.1 ROMs to flash, but having a hard time telling which ROMs are 4.2 unless it says it in the thread title. Is that the only way to really tell? I tried Google but I don't want to download something not for sprint. Any advice?

Read the entire op. It will say based on for example LJ7 which is sprints latest official version of 4.1.1.

Like what he said; it's in the title of the thread / OP.
Though if you're looking for 4.2.x, they'll be only AOSP roms as of now. And please only flash sprint roms.

Try the sprint sg3 original development thread. And check out the 4.2.1 slim ROM. You'll like it!

I was just looking at that one and considering it. Think I will! Thanks everyone. To update my prl, radio I need to flash back to stock and unroot right? Not sure if I need to do that or not..
You don't need to unroot, you just need to be on a TW rom for prl and profile update. To update modems(radios) just find a zip you can flash in recovery.
One of my friends installed the ics leak when it came out, but the leak has a lot of software glitches. He wants to go from his atnt leak to official ics then root. How would he do so? He is running the 18f I think, Android 4.0.3.

Just flash one of the rooted stock ROMs, or better yet flash Liquid Nitro which is essentially a nicely debloated AT&T ICS ROM with performance features and tweaks added.
HO!NO! posted his debloated v20f, which is the latest (and probably final) official ICS update. I'm going to try it out next. You'll need to manually add your ATT APN if you use it though, because it is a Bell ROM... so make sure you copy down the APN settings before you flash!

Won't work until you go through the unbricking process first:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2044645
It takes you from the leaked ICS. But if you want to be 100% stock no root just stock use the LG support tool found at the above thread.

So all I have to do is run the B2CAppSetup.exe and tell it to update? I know what I'm doing tonight.
Hello i have a T989 SGS2 and i want to install a great rom on it i was hoping to install the S4 rom on to it but i cant seem to find it, which is ok if its not out there yet or cant be done (As i read something saying the s4 rom cant be put on the s2) i was wondering what rom is recommended for the s2 im really looking to use the latest s-voice if i can i didnt know if it comes on a rom already or if i can install it using an apk file any tips and or help i am greatful for and want to say thank in advance.
Definitely don't flash an S4 rom! If u need Wi-Fi callng, u need one of the stock based 4.1.2 roms; jellybeast, infamous, jedi mind trick jb for example. If u don't, then many good choices.

Check out the roms in the development thread. As far as s voice you can find the apk and install if you want. And no you can't install a s4 rom on the s2 or any other rom for that matter that is not compatible. The only other roms that work on this phone are the s2 skyrocket roms and with those you need the rotation fix for the sensors to function properly.
Best to go thru dev section & look at different features, screenshots, etc. Try different ones out & see what u like. U can always switch around.

So the 4.2.2 PACMAN v2201 wont support wifi calling? how do i know what is a stock rom and what is not?
sorry for all the questions but i gotta learn somehow right?
Pacman, or any AOSP rom does not have Wi-Fi calling. Stock will say it is based on stock jellybean in description.

Well, I am a total newb at this as well, as I just flashed my first ROM this week. I needed wifi calling as well, and I decided on the jellybeast rom. It looked cool, but also the dev was giving alot of support in the forum, so I knew he would help me if needed. Anyway, everything went smooth by just following his directions, and I could not be happier now with my phone. That rom is super smooth and fast and very stable. Good luck.
