Note- Remember that frameworks change could set some factory settings (for me, it only set default background).
You can even use new drivers without framework fix, but it's seems to be slower.

Roms like 2.6.7 gingerbread on which cyanogenmod 7.2 is based on.....use hardware support i.e. GPU to render graphics. Acei and galaxy y have 2.6.6 which uses software to render graphics. If we get the sources , we can use the gpu which was locked because of the lack of the availability of these sources. Once the sources are out it will help in running cyanogen smoothly and help in correcting the bugs we are facing now. Hope you got the point!?!?

Photoshop touch apk (Modded for Note 2)

Here is a modded version of Photoshop touch to work on Samsung Note 2.
This will only work in landscape mode.
Once app is opened, you wont be able to rotate screen.
Download: MOD EDIT ON LINK
Install: just like any other apk.

Yeah so then they should take off the BeatsAudio or beatsbyDre apks, those are only licensed to be use with HTC phones. Ive seen them ported on almost every device. It even says in the box that it cannot be altered sold or distribute to other devices . But you're probably right.

Nice work brother!!! Works like a charm. If you have samsung apps installed on your tablet you will find a free version of photoshop 1.4.2. Which is the latest...

Only issue I noticed when using it was that when I renamed a project it would type the same letters over and over for some reason. I was using the stock keyboard as well.

No, when I changed the screen resolution to try to hide the notifications bar the photoshop foreclosed.

Oh you're running the same rom as I am too! The issue doesn't bother me much considering I can export my work the my external SD card then rename it there

[REQ] Default Touchwiz 4 (GB Version) that comes with i927

I don't know if I should ask here, I'm from Samsung Epic 4G, another QWERTY Android around here. I've been searching for a way to make this baby cosmetically a GB+Touchwiz4 device but stuck with the launcher. All Touchwiz 4 mods that claim to have landscape mode don't go landscape for me
So that's why I got an idea and come over to ask for help: is there anyone who has the default Touchwiz 4 launcher (should be in /system/app/, odexed should be okay) that comes with GINGERBREAD, and is kind enough to upload one? Also the ICS version is welcome too though not necessary...

Have you considered pulling the apk from osimood? Osimood is just debloated stock. You can find it in the android development section of these forums...

...I don't have a good enough network to download a full ROM of 300+MB just for an APK

Um... Can't install (but it should, because my device is on TW framework and should be compatible with any stock TW launcher), and size looks far from expectation (versions I have all are larger than 1.4MB)... Is this odexed or deodexed? If it's the former... I'll go download an deodexed OsiMood myself 'cuz I can't deodex a bare apk
UPDATE: Oops, I forgot to clear the defaults... It installs, but when trying to go home, it FCs. I reckon it's still an odexed one that lacked components...

Umm, at least I've tried several devices' TW launcher (both 3 and 4) and they work okay. The device is on stock TW so I assume it supports Glide's variant of the launcher also.
Too bad, after seeking around your forum, I can only find one legit TW4 GB ROM (OsiMood) Any other of this kind around here?

If you can pull apart the pure stock tar it has the apk. Look for the thread rooting the captivate glide

I wanted to do that but I don't have a Linux PC and don't have time and energy to set up one... Senior III in China is painful
EDIT: I didn't find anything in the root thread, but found a way on Google that says MagicISO can open rfs files. Great, I'll try that.

[FONTS][11th JULY 2013] New (Facelifted) Roboto Font Pack- Android 4.3 - v1.1

Hey everyone,
I bet most of you have read the Android Police article about the facelifted Roboto Fonts!

Bottom line is, this font is noticeably cleaner and smoother in my eyes.
UPDATED FLASHABLE ZIP linked below.
Just download and flash in your custom recovery.
If you just wanna push the files to the folder, you can download the ZIP (not flashable) from the Android Police article (linked above).
This has only been tested on a Maguro device, and I would appreciate some confirmations on whether it's working on other devices as well. Thanks

Confirmed working on toro: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2344761

I posted an update to the ZIP. It should work on all Galaxy Nexus models (only Maguro tested). Sorry for the delay but I was travelling!
Can someone on a Toro device please test the updated zip and let me know?

Could be of isn't compatible for 4.3 yet or that it requires an S4 600. While we have krait3 cores similar to a 600, it is downclocked.
Really shouldnt matter either way since I'm sure it will work, but the app either doesn't recognize our new device or, again, a 4.3 blip.
Write the Dev and ask for an update.

It works just fine on the new Nexus 7. I have a Droid DNA so I installed it on that then backed up the app and installed it on the Nexus. Here is a link to the apk. Should not be an issue with linking to it since it is a free app.

Sorry it worked for me. I even installed it on my DNA again from dropbox. I starts downloads 90+ megabytes then loads the game. Also the DNA does not have a Snapdragon 600 processor (S4 Pro) but you can install the game from the Playstore on it.
