Is the tw home screen not suppose to rotate to landscape? Is there any kind of mod for this?

I like to use 5x5 in portrait, but this chops the icons off in landscape mode. Is there a launcher that doesn't do this or perhaps allows a different view or even homescreen in landscape?
I know I can download a 3rd party "dialer" app for landscape, but is it possible to have a landscape "in-call" screen? I'm currently running JB but haven't seen any mods that do this.
Im using the tw mod for 5x5 and ultimate rotate control app. When home screen rotates I lose the bottom row of icons on the home screen.
Also another thing that bothers me is the wallpaper is centered on the screen.
The rotate on lock screen to open camera wont work either with the lock screen set for rotation.
