Do I have to flash Radio according to the region of my phone or I can flash anyone? - HTC One X

As title, I found that my phone's signal is very poor as I'm using Radio_1.1204.104.14(Hong Kong)
And I've changed to 2.1204.135.20 (Europe) and it seems better but still dropped lines sometimes.
Does anyone know should I have to flash the version of radio accroding to my phone region or I can flash anyone? If I can flash anyone, which is the best? thanks.
P.S: My phone's version is Hong Kong Version.

Does anyone can help?

Try different versions from the same region. It is a single file.

Try Getril from play store.

Nobody can tell you which radio is best, it differs from person to person you see. It's debated from person to person, i think it just depends really.
Also, i can't answer your question, but, personally, i wouldn't risk flashing anything which isn't based on my phone's region, better to be safe than sorry. Of course i'm not saying you can't, i'm not sure D:

[q] o2 uk ruu needed.....please help xda

Guys, can anyone help me. I've managed to brick my One X and need an O2 UK RUU file to hopefully get it out of brickdom!! Can anyone help me and upload a file?
Please XDA help me!!
did you find one? Also desperately looking (at least for the boot.img!)
I'm after one as well, not managed to break anything yet.
But I'd like it there just in case I do.
Will it be a case of waiting for o2 to release an update before we get hold of the RUU?
Take a look at the link below.
This is for an O2 UK RUU. It got me out of the doo doo!!

Carrier branded updates are usually pretty slow, they've got to test it all first.
Then they might not even release the update.
Just thought you guys should know that it could takes weeks for o2 to bring out 1.28 as I asked a rep the other day and they told me a few days or even weeks depending on software and firmware problems

Why dont you tell me? Its obviously not the rom, a rom definitely wouldnt break your phone, or everyone who flashed it would be bricked like you are. So that only leaves one other thing that it could be and thats that you messed it up somehow

I'll clue you in on the problem....xlite is a rom for the international galaxy siii and you are in a forum dedicated to the AT&T version. One would deduce that you flashed the wrong rom on your phone. My suggestion is to read, read, read before you flash anything else if you are able to unbrick your phone.

Dude, everyone else flashed it with no problem at all. If you had a problem, its YOUR fault. This is why devs have to put a disclaimer with there roms, cuz stupid people mess up there phones and blame it on the devs work. They arent the ones who did something wrong to your phone. They provide the ROM, they cant help it if you dont know how to use it

HTC replacing with "C-9 device".

They're replacing a 3 UK branded HOX due to overheating (45-50C+ on the screen), and I requested an unbranded model as a replacement. This is due to three's latest software being 1.28.
The reply was 'yes we will give you a C-9 device'. The agent explained this means it is unbranded, but what exactly does the 'C-9' refer to?

Won't they answer that question? Sounds like their codename for a certain category... So likely only 3 staff could answer this question.

If they already said it is unbranded, then sorted. Must be their code name for an unbranded device. Just imagine they have a big spreadsheet of every type of device. Hypothetically it could be that HTC is (column)c and a branded one x is number (row) 8 so c8 and unbranded is number(row) 9 so c9

Changing your processor name

Hey all..!! i was recently taking a look at the build.prop file in my phone and i tried changing the name of processor...
Since this experiment was a success thought i should share it with you all....
It gives a very classy feel although its just a simple trick...
i tried this on a custom rom (sense 4.1 rom) but cant say weather it will work on stock or other roms
edit the
ro.product.processor = Single core
to
ro.product.processor = xxxxxxx
xxxxxx= any name you like
Note do not edit the value of ram...!!!!! Or do any other at your own risk i only tried it with processor
after changing the value just reboot..
you will need to use a root explorer
hope u find this information interesting
It's already know that you can modify things in build prop, and by the way no one will ever believe your processor is an i3 so it's just a little pointless
---------- Post added at 07:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:55 PM ----------

International version has leaked 4.3, can we get it ported?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2468042
DO NOT FLASH this rom as I do not know if it will go perfectly or catch your phone on fire. I take no responsibility for your actions.
With that said, here it is 4.3 for the N7100 and I was hoping that a developer would be able to port it. Judging from the discussion I have been reading Knox is included and causes some problems with root but you can disable Knox from your app manager. Anyone with porting experience care to weigh in?
