I've tried to do this but it says "Note: Transparency (alpha) setting will not be applied."
And also all I did was check/uncheck the Custom notifcation bar and now my notification bar is stuck at white and not like how it was before.=/

Sure you already figured it out but if you try to reboot after changing setting maybe it will adjust?
I would like to ask on how to change the status bar from Gingerbread to Froyo theme? Is this possible on a Stock S5360 Rom?
I've been searching for a mod through google and I can't find any.
What I want to do is to make a white statusbar with black text and icons. I used UOT Kitchen and flashed the zip. What happened was the notification area changed but the status bar remained the same. So I opened the framework-res.apk and edited the .png files.
My dilemma is I can't read some of the icons since they are still white in color. Then I found the Froyo statusbar which is an easier alternative for my project.

You can do that with UOT Kitchen, just set the status bar background colour to #FFFFFF and the text #000000. Use the previews!

Does anyone know if with Synergy and substratum we can color our status bar Icons? I remember a few notes back I use to do this with a mod.
