Looking for a lock screen replacement.

I'm currently using livelocker but find it to be a bit linear and plane. Can anyone suggest a good versatile alternative.

haven't found anything much more versatile than widgetlocker. it is a paid app, though.

Flash a miui rom and check there lock screens...

miui lockscreens are pretty slick, but that isn't a "lockscreen replacement" - that's a rom replacement... not what op is looking for.

google ripple lock, it's the lockscreen from android 3.0

CyanogenMod has that feature built-in but if you aren't running it then WidgetLocker has it as well.

[Q] Get ICS animations back on Jelly Bean?

Please, I hate the new animations in Jelly Bean, can someone make a flashable file to install ICS animations in it? And another one to revert it in case of any problems? And is there a way to get the ring back on JB's lockscreen? I'm really not diggin' those sparks.

Are you referring to how apps open up from their icons?

You can use Widget Locker if you don't like the jb lock screen and it has an ICS lock

Exactly.
As a temporary fix I'm using Nova Launcher, because it has that option. The only problem is that it isn't as smooth as the stock launcher.

You cannot "replace" it. But you can try Go Locker as a third party lockscreen which, as an effect, will do the same thing.

It works by adding an extra lockscreen layer and setting it as default. I think you can use it with CM11 as well. But go ahead. Try it for yourself.

Change stock LG lockscreen?

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to somehow change the stock lockscreen? I really want the lockscreen from cm, but as I understand it it only possible to change actual lockscreens from Android 4.2 and up.... Is there some way to replace it on stock rom anyway though?

Of course it is. Even without root, there are some apps like Widgetlocker or GO Locker, and also when You install some custom launcher like MIUI You get their lockscreen.

Thanks for that, ive tried those kind of apps. But they dont actually replace the lg lock screen, but seem to override it instead. I specifically want to change to the cm lockscreen, since it is my absolute favorite:

Something like this, but it is not possible to change unless your on android 4.2 or higher....

If i'm not mistaken, ROM prior to 4.2 can't have widget in the lock screen.
unless you flash it to 4.2, you won't get the same feature.

i used the ROM Cleaner to remove the htc lockscreen and use the stock one but how can i change shortcuts? it only has unlock!
