Inverted Twitter & FB - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

I was wondering if there was a Twitter version (latest) inverted as well as Facebook. Seeing as the background is white on both of them, an inverted version would help since AMOLED screens are better with blacks & I'm on them constantly.

[Q] updated blacked out facebook

Does any one know if there's an updated version of the black Facebook? I've searched and only came up with the older version
check this thread for more details on that. i don't think so but these are the guys that are doing it. also look deep into the thread they don't always update the op cause its a community effort over there.
I could whip something up by tomorrow if I get permission to kang the images from the old one by then..... do you have any requests before I start?
And can you post a link to the original black themed facebook?....... I can't find it
Check that thread duece.
cd's or tapes?
i have the app finished and it looks good.... now i need to go ask permission to post.... what i did was copy and paste all the image from the apk in the link posted above to the newest facebook.apk which is v1.62, then i put that inside ptfmedic's flashable Gingerbread keyboard zip..... so to install this uninstall facebook, boot into cwm, flash Facebook.zip.... boot and enjoy..... ill post the zip after i get permission to.....
Just post the zip in their thread and state your intentions to post it over here. If you don't have a droid forums acct I can ask for you.
cd's or tapes?
Lol I just made one..... it looks like they already have 1.62 out so I guess ill just post the one I spliced together if anyone wants my frankenstein lol.....
Anybody try it out yet?
I don't see theirs. I'll try yours

[Req] can i get a semi-transparent one
if anyone can or wants to do this, i would love this for my themes
Looks great!
Only thing I see that appears a little buggy is that from the notifications if you jump to a post it doesn't show the post, but allows you to comment anyway.
I'm going to restart my phone and see if it persists.
Thanks alot for whipping this up it looks great and I haven't had any bugs. Looks much better then the stock Facebook. Thanks again for your time and effort in building this.

Talk With Video Chat

Hi
Has anyone been able to get google talk with video chat working?
This is for my girlfriends phone so we can video chat (i have a sensation). I have tried all the methods in this thread and also tried paul o brien's (modaco) gtalk 1.3 installer app from the market but they all result in force closes.
So im hoping someone has had success and can point me in the right direction.
Thanks
EDIT: This should be in the apps and themes section. Can a mod please move this. My appologies
skype
i havn't tried gtalk but if video calling over the internet is just what you want then i suggest you use skype. Its working fine on this fone.

Yeah i have tried Vtok but it is not much good. It hasnt been updated for 9 months and it doesnt work very well. Skype is what we are using at the minute but it doesnt have the ease of use that gtalk has.
Im sure samsung will provide an update for this........ eventually
Hahahaha... Haha... Ha.
They won't =( They only care about not letting you root your phone and find new ways to make TouchWiz an even bigger RAM whore.
Why do you think Skype isn't intuitive? I prefer it over Google Talk actually..

I've tried gtalk 1.3 with audio/video chat. It doesn't work!! Webcam works, switch webcams works, the user hears my voice but I don't hear his voice. When I close chat I have to reboot the smartphone because audio doesn't work!!!

Its just my personal opinion really. i think skype running in the background all the time chomping battery and data when we already have google talk installed and i just think the google talk app is small and neat... Especially on ICS on my sensation
Hopefully a dev might look into this when they make roms for this phone.

Inverted Blue Gmail 4.2

Here is the new Gmail 4.2 with my touch of black and blue! To install simply place the apk on your SD card and install. If it does not overwrite your current Gmail then uninstall Gmail in your system/app and any com.android.Gmail in your data/app then install mine. Once installed go to system/app and ensure the permissions are set the same as all other apps then reboot. If it still does not install then adb push Gmail4.2.apk to system/app. Then once installed rewrite the permissions and reboot. Let me know if you have any problems installing, enjoy!

Thanks for the update!
BTW I’ve been using your NuBlue Theme and NuBlue Apps Pack – it’s all great work. A couple of questions about the NuBlue Apps Pack:
1. Are you going to update Google Play and Gmail to the new Google Play 3.9.16 and the new Gmail 4.2 in the apps pack?
2. The People app looks real nice, but in the individual contact landscape view the background changes to white, so it becomes unreadable because of the white text on the white background – is it possible to fix it?
If you’re planning to update Google Play and Gmail in the apps pack, I’ll just wait for that instead of flashing/installing them separately.
Cool and thank you for using my apks package! I will come out with an update here in a day or so!

Great thanks. I look forward to it. I just happened to find the NuBlue Apps Pack in the NuBlue and Simple Green threads here on XDA and on CNA’s thread. Are you going to post the update in one of those threads, or in its own thread? Also would you please put a dated update note with the post?
I just want to have some idea where to look for it. You do great work but it’s kind of spread all over the place. It would be cool if you had your own section on each forum where you could put threads for each of your themes and mods. That may not be possible, but it’d make it easier for fans of your work to centrally find all of it and the updated versions.
I think this should be the case on all of the forums for any themer who creates and updates multiple themes and mods – 4 or more – they should have their own section in which to list them. It would clear up a lot of the clutter of the theme/mod forums and make it easier for all involved.
Looks far easier to read, I'll give it a go!
Well thank you very much! And just for you here is the updated NuBlue apks pack. I will create a new thread in XDA, Rootz, and CNA with all the updates here soon with everything,,,kinda a one stop shop, let me know if you have any problems, enjoy!

Wow, thanks a lot! I was going to try and wait to flash this until after I flash CNA 3.6.7 when it drops, but I decided to flash it now over CNA 3.6.6. Especially since my Market just updated and I lost the theme. I got the updates of Gmail and Market. They look real nice; love the color of blue you’re using!
The horizontal view of individual contacts in People is still white text on white background, which is no sweat for me because I can do without the horizontal view.
Also just a heads-up that settings and search in Google Now force closes, which actually occurred with the first NuBlue Apps Pack but I forgot to mention it before. I had substituted it with travp’s, which I just did again because I need all parts in working order for daily business.
Thanks again for your work.
I should put up a disclaimer with google now. You have to delete the one you currently have and load the zip below,,,,the apk pack didnt have the script to load google now to data/app but the this new one does,,,,so uninstall your current google now completely and install the one below and let me know.

Hi
Very nice good job
thanx
Cool! Thanks!
Good for AMOLED (battery saving); never understood why htc standard is not dark at least possibility to choose dark.
I am considering to try dark themeing for some standard apps on One S (people, phone, etc.), have no experience though. Would you have some pointers, tips? Is it a lot of work/realistic to consider?
TIA!

Lol if you wanna go full black you can try aosp roms + themes then add inverted black apps and done, you could try and find some gapps from JB whit black themes and pull them from the zip.
Anyway even if you theme apps like call / ppl there not much to gain , not like you're spending hours looking @ dialer or ppl the apps i added are the most common apps. I don't see the point for theming everything
Also if you want black settings @ sense theres somewhere a flashable theme for HoX , not sure would it work for One S.

You got a point there, still I dont need to be blinded by my screen, + it looks more sophisticated dark.
Anyway, I think I found something good in the meantime: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2198893
As far as AOSP, actually on my old Legend I did away with Sense, but one One S I have grown quite attached to it...
I might try my hands to change the black/blue to black red (also got attached to Venom Red )
Cheers!

Inverted/Transparent Themed Apps (Updated 20150612)

I am porting over my themed apps from KK to LP for the M9. Here are just a few to start with. I will be updating as the days go on and LP becomes more stable. Please make a backup prior to flashing just in case. Some of these themed apps you may have to uninstall updates or uninstall any previous version you have then flash mine. If nothing happens then try uninstalling updates for that app in settings and then flash. There are a few themed apps that are signed installs so all you have to do it install as you would any other apk, enjoy!
If you want access to the most up to date themed apks then send me a contacts request through Mega using my email [email protected]!
If I or anyone else has helped you out or, you like what I do, simply hit the thanks button!!!
As usual, I am not responsible for any bone-headedness. Ever in doubt ask first I am always willing to help.

Many have tried, but unfortunately not possible since version 4.5.2.xxxx or 4.7.xxxx ... even RRO/Layers theming is limited for Gmail.
And just a general comment: all you M9 users are very lucky to have the magical @Archangel in your midst. He is one of the best themers, and overall nicest and most helpful people I've encountered on XDA. Treat him well :highfive:
I have already done that app inverted. It is included in my Blue VenoM9 theme in the Themes and Apps section. If you dont want to flash the entire theme then you can download the zip, extract automotive.apk and flash it separately. If you have any problems let me know and I can help you.

like I told you in PM. my bad, nothing major, just a minor correction that I wanted to get out there. thanks again for jumping on that dialer so fast, wasn't life or death but cant wait to check it out. remember, anything you want me to install to test out for you just let me know. as long as it wont make my s4 melt or self destruct, I'm your guy.
Don't know why or if anyone else is having this problem but any app that requires WiFi doesn't download. Not even if I'm connected to WiFi it still won't download. It gives me an error at the end. I have the black playstore

Don't know why or if anyone else is having this problem but any app that requires WiFi doesn't download. Not even if I'm connected to WiFi it still won't download. It gives me an error at the end. I have the black playstore
